Description of Work: Got the deal $79 for two hours. This was for a rental property and of course they charged another hour when they went out to the home. My tenant said they were there two hours as he was waiting to go someplace. They said they were there three hours. They charged me $93 for the extra hour. So it took 3 hours to replace a light fixture on the back porch and rewire it. The wiring was on the other side of the wall. And they replaced a ceiling fan and rewired it. The phone contact was not very polite. Won't use them again.

Description of Work: Tarheel Electric performed the two hours of electrical work we purchased. I have since used them to install a fan that is a much more extensive job than the earlier one. I am pleased with both jobs

Description of Work: Installed an electrical outlet in the garage. Great service, wonderful personality. Overall very enjoyable experience. Will most definitely call Tarheel again. Extremely pleased with all aspects of doing business with them.

Description of Work: The work was installing fan. He worked very hard to overcome problems that he ran into. A couple trips to Lowe's. Very experienced man. Took him a long time because of the installation problems. Not his fault. |He had another job pending and still more work to do as he accidentally installed the switch upside down and he needed to correct this. I told him he could come back later and do the switch. He did not follow up with this.

Description of Work: Guy couldn't figure out why the light stopped working. Spent two hours on it and wanted to charge for every hour of troubleshooting after my 2 hr payment ran out. I refused. And he kept uttering profanity the whole time he was working. Very unprofessional and incompetent. What a waste of money!

Looked at bathroom light fixture to determine if it could be fixed (recommended replacement due to age.) Fixed combo light/fan fixture in bath. Was quick, friendly and professional.

Description of Work: They provided 2 hours of electrical services for $79 and then paid extra for the materials used to fix problems like broken switches. They arrived on time and with a great attitude. Fixed all the problems I needed and advised on how to fix a doorbell as they ran out of time. Overall, they provided excellent service and very good help for something they did not actually fix, but took the time to help me do it myself.
