SYNC Technology Integration

This is the second project we have worked with Sync. Tim and Rusty were very professional, punctual and helped educate and select to provide what we were seeking. They worked with our general contractor to work within his schedule to set up the initial wiring, electrical work, etc. necessary and came in at the end of the project to put the finishing touches on the project. Tim offered suggestions on speaker placement, sub-woofer placement (to keep concealed but not detract from sound quality), etc. and executed by installing everything very neatly and testing everything and educating us as to how to work everything. We had follow-up questions that were promptly answered as we used all the new systems over the week following installation. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

The first thing that impressed me the most about SYNCTI was the depth of knowledge that they had (initially Tim and later his colleague as well). We had a little situation with our mantle as it was mounted pretty high over the fire place and there realistically wouldn't be much room to mount a 75" TV and a center channel above it. I didn't want to decrease the size of the TV so they simply suggested that we remove the mantle! Never thought about it, but it made sense. They explained the risks in doing so (i.e. heat exposure from the fireplace to the center channel) but we were willing to tolerate it since we don't use the fireplace all that much anyway. Communication was superb throughout the entire process. I ended up purchasing the AV receiver, TV, center channel, Sonos and a Roku through them. They came in and did a great job mounting the TV as stone can be a bit challenging at times. They did a great job. Also, I had some issues with my receiver not turning on automatically via Sonos. They came out the next week or so and replaced it. I found out later though it was probably my router that was causing the issue but their willingness to ensure that I was happy with everything was great. I have a few more projects in the future and I will definitely use these guys again!

The project went very well, stuck to proposed budget, all done in timely fashion with quality work. Installed a TV outdoors by my fire pit/patio. Ran HDMI and power and installed mounting pole to hang TV. It is not an "all weather" outdoor TV, rather just an indoor TV that is easy to set up and take down within minutes. Set up mounting bracket in my garage to hang the TV when not in use. Takes 5 minutes to set up and take down. TV plugs into rock speakers for great sound experience. In addition, upgraded my wifi network to run more efficiently and provide more signal strength throughout the house, including reaching outside to be able to use the SmartTV for Netflix, etc. Also signal now reaches into my basement with more stability. Added Sonos system, which is great. Can use for music by patio and portable speaker system. The work was done very efficiently and neatly. Would recommend for any any tech project and plan to use them for additional work as we continue to upgrade the technology and audio/visual equipment in our house.

I love technology but hate all of the wiring, downloading and integrating that goes with it. I also am TERRIBLE at it! Greg the owner came to the house and listened to our goals then provided solutions that remedied our issues. We had a good, better - best set of solutions and Greg explained them fully with all of the pluses and minuses of each option. We chose to jump in in the middle which allows us to build our system in the future. When that time comes we will use Sync Technology Integration. We gave him a 5/5 only because there wasn't a 6 for an option. A job well done. Happily connected for sure!

Couldn't recommend these guys more. I attempted to do this myself to get a new HDMI projector, but the old cable in the ceiling was stuck. Called in the pros, and they did not dissapoint. Very knowledgeable and friendly, answered all my questions and were very descriptive in their work. They were able to easily get the old cable out once they investigated and removed one of the speakers in the ceiling. Installed not 1, but 2 CAT-5 cables for me, and converted to HDMI for my new projector. Re-hooked up all my devices to my receiver using nice color coded labels and zip ties to help with the wire mess. Put the new projector up and made all the cables on the ceiling nice and hidden. Recommended a new projector for me as the one I had gotten did not have the zoom capability I needed. Will not hesitate to call these guys again if/when I need my home theater looked at or upgraded.

Sync's technicians are very knowledgable on A/V and network setups, and they do fantastic work. They did in 1.5 days what it probably would've taken me over a week to do myself, and they did good, clean work. They came out several months later to re-run a few wires so they would be more hidden free of charge. Great guys, great work, and great customer service. I would recommend these guys to anybody needing this type of work done. I only wish we had tested the cheapo 50 foot HDMI cables before running them through the wall, as I have 1 faulty cable and now it's permanent graveyard will be behind my drywall :)

I can't say enough good things about SYNC Technology. These gentlemen are exceptionally knowledgeable about all aspects of audio/video systems, from driving music via computer to the home theater experience. Importantly, they're able to integrate it with existing components, even - it seems - outdated ones! We've presented them with some tough problems, and they've always been able to solve them. They seem to know this business inside and out. Highly recommend.

Gary was very professional and took great care and confidence. I asked for a solution that would allow me to use my current AV Receiver while moving to a simpler Home Theater Solution. Gary offered me a perfect solution that sounds amazing.

They installed a sound system engraved all my technology. They were excellent on all counts.

The initial appointment was not great. I assumed that they would show up and do the install. They actually originally quoted a very complex installation. After I communicated with them that I wanted a very simple install, they honored the deal and came back at a later date to complete the normal installation. It went very smoothly, and the TV looks great above my fireplace. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

I left a voicemail for Gary on 2/24, but he never returned my call. After a few days with no response, I called another provider who promptly responded, provided a reasonable estimate.

Sync came out to mount a TV on a stone fireplace wall. Gary honored the 2 hour labor special promotion. Gary also provided an estimate for a whole house sound system that was already pre-wired. We needed components. The costs, probably fair, were more than what we were prepared to spend at the time and just had them complete the TV install. I questioned some of the costs as I had priced some surge protectors and TV mounts but Gary educated me on why there might be a difference. His email communication was outstanding. A few months later, in late February 2015, Gary came out to estimate a video surveillance system. When he left he said they typically had the estimate in 24 hours as I was anxious to install after suffering some vandalism. Sent emails and left voice mails and never heard from Gary again. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and grade him an A like almost everyone else here has. It must have been something I had done. Sorry Gary, I'm probably too old fashioned of a customer for today's technologies and shouldn't have asked as many questions. I hope maybe we can complete the whole house sound system someday.

The employees were extremely friendly, professional, thorough and patient. I am completely satisfied and have recommended their services to a number of acquaintances.

I spoke with him a few times over the phone. However, I feel that he wants to sell me an additional product. I really just want him to hook up my existing stereo equipment. I also want him to hook up my blu-ray into the TV. I want him to take off the JVC system and switch my existing system back to my old system. He's waiting on me to call him back to schedule. He's been very nice, called me back right away, and has been very adaptable to my changes.

I was initially very happy. He came and gave me advice on what I should I do. He made some recommendations, but I didn't have the finances at that time. When I was ready to do the work about a year later, they never got back in touch with me.

I ultimately decided to experiment with some changes in our internet provider before hiring Sync Technology to do the proposed work (estimated cost $1800). As the problem may be that 1) AT&T has an old line to our small neighborhood and 2) our cable into the neighborhood and into our house is also lousy, it is as yet unresolved whether there is any way to solve our problems other than simply hiring Sync Tech. Thus, I have held off writing this review for that reason. I may still wind up hiring them.

Everything went exceptionally well. Gary came out for a consultation and was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. I really appreciated the fact that he did not try to sell us items that we did not want or need, but was able to offer suggestions on things we did need, i.e. universal remote. As a person that is not tech savvy, it was a great benefit to have him explain everything in a lingo I could understand. He immediately followed up with a written quote via email. We agreed, and once the components arrived, scheduled an installation date. Gary was right on time and did the entire install (including moving jacks) by himself, with the exception of hanging the mount and tv. He also hauled away my monster sized rear projection television. I now have a fabulous tv with a great picture, and most importantly, a very easy remote that works all components. If I had not had to deal with Comcast Cable during this process, it would have been flawless. Thank you for a great job and I would recommend Gary's company to anyone!

The bid was for about $500. I would just recommend them on Angie’s List. Their service was just strictly professional and very businesslike. They were very good and I would recommend them. I thought they were a little too high in terms of price.

Wonderful! Love the new systems! I have referred them to my daughter, and will be using them again in the future.

I called sync and Gary promptly called me back to set up a time to review my project and give me a quote. He was on time and professional in presentation. He went over the project thoroughly and gave me some options. He let me know that he would send me a quote via email that would have the pricing options later that day. Gary ended up having some family matters to attend to so the quote was understandably delayed. For now I'm going to postpone the project until a few others are wrapped up at the house. Thanks for looking at the project Gary. I will be in touch down the road.
