 + -1 moreI've been fortunate that I haven't had to put my insurance to the test very much, but the 'shock and awe' of seeing my roof flying past the rear window put me into a situation that I had never experienced. State Farm and their roofer handled the event with great professionalism and within two days of the event, the roof was as good as new and was fully covered by my policy. Thank you State Farm!
Description of Work: I've been a State Farm customer for years and have my home, cars, and other areas covered. On the day before this date, we had a powerful thunderstorm rumble past our house and a high-speed microburst literally peeled the tiles and cover off of our roof. I was home talking on the phone and watching the rain blow sideways only to see tiles going by as well. The storm was brief and very little water actually entered the house at this point. I called State Farm. The next morning, the agent was there with a roofer and they surveyed the damage and then put a protective cover over the damaged area just in case of more weather. The very next day a roofing crew had the roof repaired and had even found identical replacements so the new repairs blended perfectly with the remaining roof.

Description of Work: I changed car/home insurance to State Farm from a large company - I contacted an office in Fishers, IN through Angie's List and Holly Duzan was wonderful in responding to me promptly, providing estimates, comparing with my old insurance. I saved some money, but also wanted to have an individual agent nearby that could readily answer any questions and who would be easy to contact.
