SPIC & SPAN CLEANING SERVICES

We bought the Big Deal coupon from them in November of last year. When we called to schedule the service they said they would not be able to get to us before the coupon expires, but that they have noted we called and will honor the coupon just as soon as their schedule opens us. We waited. Then called again to schedule. Now we were told that they are booked through the end of 2011, and they will send us the refund. Where to begin with this disregard of all professional ethics? I mean, it is bad enough that they should not honor the contract; worse, that they should string us along before telling us definitively that they just cannot service us; but worst, that they kept saying they are mailing in a check but never did. We emailed them, called them - no sign of that check that they were positively going to mail to us. Finally they started ignoring our calls/emails and we had to chase Angie's List to get the refund. What a nightmare! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just read the company's response, and I am simply shocked. Their professionalism was horrible enough in the first place. But it is simply unbelievable to read their totally false response. They failed to fulfill their obligation at every stage, and they have the nerve to suggest WE are misleading?? How can a company get away with this, folks? I repeat: We called WELL BEFORE the expiration of the coupon. Everything in my above report is 100% accurate. And I ask this company NOT to suggest otherwise. I ask this company to remember that every time we submit a review we have to check a box to confirm that everything we have said "is true and accurate". They ought to be very, very careful before mouthing off, and implying that we provided info that is not so.

They were very punctual, clean and organized. The owner and three others did an excellent job cleaning. It was a little more expensive than we wanted to pay, but we got our moneys worth.

I purchased my current home in November and travel frequently for work. I am rarely home and have not had the opportunity to clean the home to my standard. I recently returned from a work trip and decided to enlist the services of a house-cleaner to give my home an initial "deep clean." I found Spic and Span Cleaning Services on Angie's List and contacted Felicia regarding my situation. She and her team arrived promptly once we had scheduled a date for the cleaning, and they exceeded my expectations.

Felicia and her crew are fantastic! They brought all of their own cleaning supplies and our house has never been cleaner after just a day of them cleaning. We really appreciated the very professional and honest approach they took with the in-home visit and estimate. They recommended only a once a month cleaning since it is just my wife and I living in the house, no uneeded additional services. Their price for the deep clean and subsequent monthly visit was spot on. My wife and I also really liked the fact that their entire crew is just Felicia, her daughter, and her sister - they don't hire out any additional help. We are planning on having them come by every month from this point on. I would give them my highest recommendation.

It was amazing! My wife and I just had a baby and between him and the other two children we have in the house, cleaning hasn't been kept up like it should. I looked around and decided that it would just be best to hire a crew to come out and make the place shine. Felicia picked up the phone and made me feel great about using her services. The crew came out Friday afternoon and did a far better job than I could have if I had an entire weekend to clean! You will not be let down. The price was 180 (with the Angies List discount - deep clean/3 story condo) but I paid 220 anyway because of the fantastic job. The place looks like it's ready to be shown at an open house. Very nice women and always the same people each time. They do a terrific job cleaning!

They were booked so far in advance and I was not that anxious. So, they finally came when they could. They were here for about two hours. My interaction with them went very well. There were two people and they were limited on how much time that they would spend on the job. But, they did everything that they would normally do in terms of vacuuming, sweeping and cleaning. The job turned out very well. One of them had an emergency situation with her grand baby and so, they did not show up when they were supposed to. She did not have her phone with her and I was at my peak by the time I got in touch with her. It was not her fault as it was a situation that was out of her control. She apologized. I had been sick and I could not clean the house. But, now I am doing the cleaning because it is a good exercise.

We have been very happy with them and have continued to use them for regular cleaning.

I called and set up my cleaning appt. She was pretty booked with lots of people that had purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List, and I had to be scheduled almost a month out. The week before my cleaning, she called me and cancelled my appointment due to an injury that required surgery. I appreciated her honesty and she refunded me my money. I would like to try the service once she is back working again.

After a rocky start over their not being able to make the 12/16 appointment I'd scheduled weeks in advance due to a holiday party at my home scheduled for 12/18, they were able to come clean my house on 12/17. I felt bad that she had at least one of her crew out sick and that they were stretched to the max due to the Angie List's activity, but I did appreciate her keeping her promise to try and get the cleaning crew out to my house on 12/17. It was evident that the owner took pride in her business and wanted to do a great job. Two floors of my house were dusted & vacuumed, bathrooms cleaned, floors mopped, etc. The group did a terrific job. They were very thorough.

We signed up for a promotional house cleaning offer through Angies list. Felicia had to rescedule, but showed up on time with her sister and niece. They are professional, efficient, and very pleasant. We are totally satisfied and have asked her to get back with us on pricing for housecleaning on an ongoing basis. We have white carpet and did provide shoe protectors to keep the melted snow on their shoes from getting the carpet dirty.

She is outstanding. The most recent visit on Friday I called her for a emergency house clean and she came out that day with all of her group and did a whole house clean. She picked up everything in our house that was on the floor. She cleaned absolutely everything even under the beds which was very thorough. She has a great personality and is very easy to work with.

They did an excellent job. Very professional.

They arrived on time with an arsenal of cleaning supplies and equipment and got right to work. I have a large home that our previous house cleaning service had terribly neglected. I figured it would take them a couple of times to get everything clean but they got every nook and cranny from top to bottom. Even our kitchen floor looks like new. Felicia and her crew were very professional and friendly and went over what they had done to make certain we were satisfied with their work. I have had several cleaning companies in the past but Spic & Span has a very professional process that assures no details get overlooked. In addition, everyone takes pride in their work, which showed in the end result. This is the cleanest the house has ever been and I can't wait till they come back.

Everything looks great and my condo always smells brand new when I get home. Thanks again for all of your hard work and keep up the great work! The quality of work is the most important thing to me and Spic & Span gets an A ++ in that area!

it was a strange experience. When she first came to give me a quote, I gave her a list of what I wanted done. She forgot the list when she returned with her very large crew. i should have made a copy of the list for myself. She argued about everything. An antique clock was broken and she didn't let me know about it. I found it on the porch. When I called the next day, she had all sorts of excuses as to why she didn't tell me that they'd broken the clock. One of her crew members is afraid of dogs. Mine are friendly, but I kept them away and outside. Like I said, it was a strange experience.

Overall this was an A+ job! The place looked and smelled very refreshing as I entered and noticed that they cleaned little things that previous house cleaners had not. They even made beds and straightened things out to place them in a better location than I had them. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a thorough, detail-oriented housecleaning.

She briefly went over everything but said she would have to call me back because she was on a job. However, I never heard back from her. She was courteous and answered the questions I had, so I was disappointed that she did not return my call. I decided to go with another, more responsive, housekeeping service.

Overall, we were very happy with their services! This is our second time working with Spic and Span Cleaning Services. When we called Felicia to set up the cleaning day, she was happy to work with our schedules. We had to switch the day at the last minute, and she was very accomodating. On the day of the job, four people arrived to clean. When they arrived we went through the long list of areas to clean and the additional charge for the large amount of trash. They called me when they were finished so I could look things over and lock up the rental unit. Everything was done very well!

Felicia and her crew showed up exactly on time and made quick work of our cleaning. They covered every room on the first floor of our house in a little over 2 1/2 hours. And it was spotless when they left! I can honestly say it was as clean as if my own mother had performed the work. We have three HUGE dogs (150 lbs. + ) that provide us with lots of love, but lots of slobber and hair as well. Felicia had all the tricks for the dog hair and our hardwood floors looked brand new after they had finished. Her crew was professional and personable. We enjoyed having them in our home, and we definitely will have them back again! I would recommend Spic & Span Cleaning Services to everyone!

They didn't quite do what they said they were going to do at first, but they came back to redo it, just as they said they would. They were very nice and more than willing to come back. I should have asked in more detail what their pricing was, but I thought it was too expensive to have them back on a regular bases. If I have need for a house cleaning service again, I will definitely call them for an estimate.
