I wish I could rate Spic and Span on their service, however, I never received the service. I signed up to a coupon from Angie's List and then when Spic and Span called, we collectively decided my location was too far for them to travel (I'm on the South side of Indy, they are located North side.) I didn't want them traveling that far to perform the cleaning, we both agreed to cancel. AFter multiple phone calls, I have not received any refund from Angie's List or Spic and Span. The last phone call with Spic and Span, the owner agreed to contact Angie's List to initiate the refund. This has not been done and I'm out $100 for a service that was never performed.

I bought this service and got sick and was late trying to get it set up. I called them on a couple of occasions, only got the answering machine and left messages, and never heard back from them. So, in essence, I paid them $100 to ignore me. I understood that if I was beyond the time frame and that I wouldn't get the same deal, but they never responded to me about any work being done, even with me paying more for the work. They basically ripped me off for the money by not responding. I gave up trying and will definitely tell everyone what kind of service I got from this company. Not a good thing for them.

"I did not ignore this client her coupon expired I did speak to her and told her it had expired she would have to go threw angies list to see if they woud give her a refund I did not receive a $100 angies list received it and took 30% it tells everyone when the coupon expire she called months after it expired 30% off a 100 is not worth my reputation."

I bought Angie's List Deal for housecleaning. I called to schedule service and set up a date. The day of the service, I waited at home for them to arrive. No one showed up. I called after 30 minutes, then again after an hour. I then waited to call after 3 hours. I finally reached someone on my fourth call. She had been hospitalized and would not be able to work for several weeks. I rescheduled for after her rehab. The day of the rescheduled appointment, no one showed up or called. I called back. Again, it took 3-4 calls/messages before I was able to speak with the owner. She stated that my rescheduled date was when I could call to make an appointment, not when the house was to be cleaned. So, I made my third appointment. When that was also missed without a call, I asked for a refund and was told to go to Angie's List. I have attempted to obtain a refund from Angie's List, but have given up. I no longer buy deals from Angie's List.

I purchased a Coupon for Two Separate Deep Cleanings.
From the initial call to schedule services problems were evident.
Cell was not charged had to call several times to reach and actually talkBarriers about the location of the place for services to be performed required an up-charge.
Services had to booked out weeks in advance
When re-scheduling was required to work out of town requirements again it was required to book out way in advance
When I agreed to have someone else at my home and keep the scheduled date she indicated that she did not want to work with me since I had not expressed empathy for current health conditions that she was dealing with. She then told me she would contact Angies List to process a refund.
Professionalism was not evident in my dealings...Not what had been expected is the bottom line.

Tried on numerous occasions to contact company and was told she was booked up and to call back in a few weeks. Tried again and told same thing and if I want just get a refund. Found very unprofessional and if they cannot handle the large workload they should not offer a deal. I finally received a refund for the Big Deal. Will not purchase one from this company again or use their services.

The two ladies that came were very professionaly and did everything that I had requested. The only reason I did not give them an oustanding on punctuality is that they were about 20 minutes late due to traffice issues; howver they did call me before the appointment time to give me a heads up that they would be late. Overall great service.

They agreed to perform cleaning service, and did not show up on the date agreed upon. Having taken time off work to be there for the cleaning (confirmed by phone on the day before the appointment), I called when they were late and finally reached someone who said they were overbooked and weren't coming. I asked for my money back. I had to call back a couple of weeks later when I still had not received a refund and then finally got it in the mail a few days later. They said too many Big Deals were sold and they couldn't meet the demand.

Purchased a Big Deal and scheduled the service. The day before the service was to be done, I called to confirm and was told that the service would not be performed due to an upcoming surgery. Since I wanted the service that week for an upcoming party, rather than rescheduling for some future time, I obtained a refund for the Big Deal. I have no knowledge of the quality of their work.

I purchase a big deal of $179 for Two Separate Deep Cleaning Sessions from SPIC & SPAN CLEANING SERVICES. On my order confirmation, it said they would email me within 2 business days to schedule service. But they didn't. Then I reached the lady after several calls. She asked me to call her again in 3 weeks because she needed medical care. It turned out after 3 weeks that she was not able to do the service and asked me to get refund from Angie's list.

Very bad, many calls, they didn't return calls for days. When I finally had it scheduled, I called to confirm it and they asked for a different day. This was after I arranged to work from home to be there to let them into my house. Then she said okay and when they didn't show on time, I called again and she needed another half hour to hour and I said I would wait, then when they didn't show, I called again and she said they couldn't make it. Very unprofessional. I wasted half a day waiting for them and rearranged my schedule based upon them.

OK overall. They arrived on time and I showed them where the two bedrooms were. My home was pretty open and not a lot to do. No beds to make or clothes to put away. They did clean the bathroom in the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom adquately. The wiped up in the kitchen. No sweeping nor mopping or scrubbing. I was told they would clean throughly and they did not at all. OK, but I would not use again.

When I saw the big deal, I sent an e-mail to the provider to ask a question. She responded quickly and encouraged me to buy the big deal, which I did. A couple of months later, I wanted to schedule the cleaning, so I e-mailed the provider. She responded that she was having surgery and asked me to check back in a couple of weeks. I waited 3 weeks and contacted her again to try to schedule the cleaning. The next thing I knew Angies list said to call rather than e-mail. Okay - so I called her and never got a return call. Angies list refunded my money. I understand the issue of surgery when you provide a personal service. But I don't understand not returning phone calls or offering refunds if you can't provide the purchased service. What an awful experience.

I'd purchased and Angie's List deal and due to personal reasons the provider was unable to perform the housecleaning in the time frame I needed. Felicia was very responsive and took care of requesting the refund through Angie's List. C for professionalism only due to use of all-caps and grammar in emails.

Overall easy to schedule and showed up on time. Five people showed up for the job and they divided and conquered! I did not have to stay in the house for hours while they cleaned. No complaints. Probably will use them again in the future.
