I needed some vintage Sansui Speakers serviced and repaired. Bill did a great job evaluating the woofer surround damage and was able to find a quick, effective, and inexpensive solution. Maybe I was lucky with timing and their schedule but I had the speakers back within 24hrs sounding better than they ever have. Outstanding service and work by Bill and Spectrum Sound! I would absolutely recommend and use them again!

Even though the receiver was out of warranty, they checked with Onkyo to see if the part had been defective -- without my asking them to do that! Lo and behold, Onkyo paid for the repair, and Spectrum even refunded my diagnosis fee -- again without my asking! In addition they spent all kinds of time with me, making sure I understood what I needed to do to hook it back up again. Everything was done on time and with great communication. Very, very professional, and I would definitely take my next repair there.

I delivered my '73 Marantz integrated amplifier the evening of July 29. Spectrum Sound's technician had the amplifier ready for pick up on August 3. The unit was checked, an adjustment was made to the bias, all controls were cleaned, and the amplifier's inputs and outputs were tested. The sound is now fantastic. Excellent workmanship and care, and the amplifier was repaired and returned quickly.

This keyboard is notable because the company that makes it has been out of business for a good decade, and parts are virtually impossible to find. Spectrum rebuilt the power supply and other maintenance. It works great post-repair. It came in under budget. It took about three weeks. I was in no hurry.

Although,I was disappointed by the outcome I was not surprised. The cd payer was twenty years old and I was taking a chance that they could repair it.I would return tp them again because they where very knowledgeable about electonics but in the modern world where five years or less and it is throwaway.

Overall it was a good experience. They seemed knowledgeable and helpful, and actually helped me figure out what was wrong with the keyboard. I had been using a power supply that I knew was not the proper one, but it had worked OK for years so I never changed it. However, after a gig a few weeks ago the piano started having serious issues and then recently just stopped working. I took it in, and within the first couple minutes they were able to conclude that the power source was the problem, and the keyboard did not have any electrical damage (which saves me a ton of $) They sent me on my way with the knowledge that all I need to do is buy a new power source, instead of getting costly repair work done to the keyboard. Though there is no problem with it now, in the future if I have issues I will not hesitate to bring my gear and other electronics to the good people at Spectrum Sound.

I took the CD player to Spectrum and Ron told me that it might be a week or two before I would get it back, but that he would try to get it to me before Christmas. I took it in on Monday, the 13th, and told him I really wanted to play my Christmas CD's. Well, he called me on Tuesday and told me that it was ready. I cannot believe how much better my music sounds now. They did a fantastic job and made an old lady very happy! Ron said they had to replace the tact switches and they also tested the overall operation.

There was a part broken and this company was able to fix it when other companies I'd visited said it could not be done.

WHEN I GOT THERE, THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT. THEY CHARGED A $30 DEPOSIT, AND WE LEFT IT WITH THEM. AFTER CALLING FOR 4 MONTHS TO FIND OUT WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, THEY CALLED AND SAID THAT THE REPAIR WAS DONE, AND WE OWED THEM THE REPAIR CHARGE. THE DAMAGE HAD BEEN DONE DURING THE MOVE, BUT THEY TOLD THE MOVERS THAT THE DAMAGE WASN'T DONE DURING THE MOVE. THEY WERE MOST UNHELPFUL.
