Description of Work: We have used Sherman moving in the past and had been well satisfied. However this time the service was terrible. We had most of the household in storage for about 3 months (from October 2014-January 2015). We were living out of town as we had a temporary assignment in Kentucky and did not return home for good until July 1. Since that time we have quite a bit of unpacking and have discovered issues. My wife had received a ceramic angel from some of our friends upon the death of her eldest sod and it was damaged beyond repair. In addition our love seat was damaged. One end of the sofa had been either cut or scraped against something and had a slit in that side. That is all that we have discovered so far as we continue to unpack. The one thing that we noticed when items were being packed in Indiana there was a young man that was new to the company and he seemed not to care about how he performed his work. I believe that his dad was a friend of the owner of the company and that was how he got hired. I cannot recommend this company to anyone due to the terrible treatment that we received. The company was not contacted about the recent discoveries since we had to have other items addressed and their attitude was terrible when we discussed our situation. Description of Work: They were coreteous on the phone when we called to set up the appointment. Prompt in confirming the time for service. The arrive 15 minutes early on moving day and went overboard in helping us in many ways. Items we were going to move ourself by car or truck they simply invited us to let them put it on thier truck. I had a big tredmill that was going to Goodwill. They loaded it on my pick up and off it went to Goodwill. They never took a break even on a very hot August day. This was our fifth move with Sherman's and exceeded our already high expectation. I highly recommend them for anyone contemplating a move.

Description of Work: They arrived on time at my office and worked efficiently and fast. I really appreciate movers who are careful but work quickly since I pay them by the hour. I will be using them for my residential move this month.

Description of Work: nice guys. Not as clean or thorough as expected. Filed complaint directly with management and they offered small refund. I have used in past and they have done a good job. Crew for this move seemed to be a little unorganized and distracted.

Description of Work: We reached out to the company and made an appointment. We just decided to go with a different company that was much cheaper. Their charging starts from the moment they leave their warehouse along with their travel time back.
