Sherman Moving quickly schedule our request, so that we could complete our project. They sent three movers. All were very professional and careful (even when moving very large and heavy furniture up two flights of stairs). They worked hard and completed all requested tasks in less time than we expected. We were very pleased with the outcome.

They were afraid that they may have to get a second truck and crew, in the end our belongings did fit. And Sherman gave us a discount for senior citizens. It went well. They were very careful and placed the furniture where I put notes. They were careful on the floors and carpets and very efficient. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

They were friendly, careful, and considerate of my items. They knew how to organize the items for my move, using two trucks for one move to keep items going to a consignment store separate from the items I was keeping. this was at no additional charge. I will use for any future moves.

I purchased the big deal. It was a bit last minute but they were able to squeeze me in. I had them load a POD that was going to storage. I couldn't believe how much they were able to fit in that POD! I could never have gotten that much in there. The remainder of our items were loaded on their truck and moved into an apartment. They did a great job and I only saw a couple of scratches on some things.

The move did not go as planned. We had already had one full truck moved earlier. It took a different mover, two men, 5 hours to move a FULL truck to my new residence. Sherman charged us from 7:45am 7:00 pm. They didn't get to our home until 8:45 am and left the last house at 6:30pm. They took a 40 min for lunch. Our original plan was to put my ex's items on first, then mine, stop at my house, unload my items (large furniture only) and then head to my ex's. I was originally told the truck would comfortably hold the contents of a 2,000 sq ft house. Our house is 2,000 sq ft. We had some items in the basement and garage, but since I had already removed one full truck we believed it would fit. They told us that everything wouldn't fit and that they would have to make two trips or get another crew and truck. They loaded up my ex's stuff, which filled about 2/3 of the truck. He moved into a 1,400 sq ft house and only had 1 bed, no dressers, no sofa, no dining room table. It took from 8:45 to 2:15 to load and unload the 2/3 truck. They took a 40 min lunch, then came back and loaded my stuff and didn't finish until 6:30. I had Washer/Dryer, Dining Room table & chairs, one bed, two nightstands a desk, a hutch, a buffet, and some random boxes. It was about a 1/3 of a truck and it took 3 men 4 hours. I felt like they took waaaay too much time for three people. I know they unloaded three trucks the previous day,and that they were tired, but I shouldn't have to pay extra for that. I have friends that had their entire home packed and moved for $2,000, so $1,600 seems excessive. Especially since we had everything packed separated and marked clearly.

It was fine. The price was way more than the big deal price but we knew that it would be. They were on time. I would probably not use them again because it was a lot more expensive. We knew that it was going to be pricey.

They showed up on time and did a great job. Nothing was broken or missing, which is always something that you worry about when having strangers move your belongings. They are very trustworthy! The guys we had were conversational and outgoing...much appreciated because we are on the "shy" side but hate standing around in silence. They made us feel at ease. I purchased a big deal that was for 3 guys for 3 hours, $150 extra for each hour. 1 guy called in sick, so we only had two guys. This was the only problem. Since we only had two guys, I feel that the hours should have been adjusted instead of just the cost for the extra hour (which was reduced to $125). So, I paid for 3 guys for 3 hours but only had 2 guys for 3 hours. And then paid $125 for the extra hour. We didn't say anything at the time because we were overwhelmed with moving and were giving the guys the benefit of the doubt. I don't know that the big deal was worth it looking back because I technically didn't get what I paid for. I would use them again because they (most importantly) did a great job.

I purchased The Big Deal and got 3 hours for a 3 person crew and truck for $405. The crew arrived at my home 10 minutes early to begin the loading of our belongings. They were efficient and courteous to me and my children. About an hour and a half later, all my belongings were loaded into the truck and we were ready to make the move 5 miles away to our new home. Upon arrival at our new home, they took care in unloading and placing furniture/boxes where I directed them to. I emphasized ALL THE PAINT WAS BRAND NEW, so please be extra careful! I did not see any dings or scuff marks on the walls, which was a relief. All in all the work was completed satisfactorily. When it was time to settle up, I had to pay an extra $350 because the time ran over at a rate of $150/hour.

The crew was punctual in their arrival. Items that were marked "fragile" and or "computer" were not handled with the care I would have expected. Specifically when items were moved into our new home, heavy boxed and a large TV were stacked on top of the box clearly marked "computer". The back of our Samsung washing machine (purchased 3 months prior to the move) was dented in. They ruined the treadmill that my daughter (who is disabled) uses for gait training. It is medically necessary - therefore quite an important item to us. It was obvious that something heavy was piled on the console ruining the mechanics. I talked to Jason at Sherman moving and he offered to pay the cost of repairs or give me $110.00 towards a new one. Unfortunately the item can not be repaired. Jason agreed to pick up the treadmill and remove it for us however on the agreed upon date/time they did not arrive. I work a full time job and had to take the morning off of work for this appointment. When the team did not arrive, I called the company and was informed by Jason that since I had not confirmed my address/phone number he did not schedule the pick up. I was not aware I needed to confirm my address/phone number (they moved us into the house I could not understand why they did not have that information). He will NOT schedule a time for this pick up when I am home from work instead it can only be scheduled at their convenience. I can not take time off work again this week or next and it is essential that I replace this machine ASAP. I will not use this company and would discourage my friends from hiring them. I can't express how pleased we were with the team of gentleman that moved our stuff today. All three of them were so polite and extremely helpful. This has been a very stressful move for us and your team helped tremendously.

Everything went pretty smoothly. One of the men was delayed and didn't arrive until we were unloading at my apartment. They lessened the amount of the charge so that it reflected that without my even asking. They were even able to get a large piece of furniture up over the stair railing that I was worried wouldn't fit because of the angle. This is the 2nd time I have used Sherman Brothers and I remain pleased with their service.

The movers were fantastic, they arrived exactly on time, they worked diligently until the job was done, and they took great care with all of our furniture. We only had the movers move the large items and they were very careful with everything. They moved multiple TVs for us and individually wrapped each and every one to ensure nothing would happen during the move. In addition to that, they took the time to wrap the smaller furniture items so that they did not get scratched during transport. Once we arrived at the house and started unloading, the guys were very quick to get the truck unloaded. They were happy to help move the furniture around in the house if we didn't like where they had initially placed it. They removed any and all trash that was generated during the move and generally took good care of the new house while they were there. I was extremely impressed with the quality of care the movers took to get my furniture out of my apartment and into the new house. They always were extremely careful when moving through doorways and near walls to ensure they didn't scratch up the paint or the hardwood floors. Overall, it was a fantastic move and I would not hesitate to use Sherman Moving and Storage again, nor would I hesitate recommending them to friends and family.

Great!! We found them on Angie's List and a coupon too. We could not have asked for better guys. The crew was fast and professional. They got done hours earlier than estimated. Nothing was broken or missing. Ask for Dennis, James, and Brandon. I hope we never move again but if we do, we will be asking for them.

Everything was fine with it. There were a couple of parts that I thought they were really professional and I thought that it was a great deal but in time I think that the fact they charge from the time that they basically leave their facility until your house and the moment they leave your house and get back to their facility. I thought that was a little high. The service was more than the big deal price. They were great, I didn't have an issue with them. I would probably pay more attention to the fine print next time.
