Great company! They showed up on time and respectfully took the time to handle all items with care. At the new house, they put down blankets and did not damage any walls. I will always recommend this company to anyone who is moving.

The boxes were packed, prior to the arrival of the movers, they had to load up the stuff and take it from place A to place B. They also moved a piano for us from one room in the house we were moving out of, to another room in that house. I think things went pretty well as they had to sort out with me what things went and what things stayed. The guys were nice, professional and careful and considerate of my belongings. I noticed that they left behind a mirror, and the shelves from my curio cabinet, so I had to take those over later. I was really careful to try not to have them move things that I thought were extremely fragile or costly, that I could move myself, so I felt a little put out at having to retrieve those items and move them myself. I have only found one thing broken, the wooden blinds in the bedroom we moved out of were damaged, and it wasn't brought to my attention, I feel bad about that, as I didn't see it until they were long gone. Otherwise, no complaints.

The crew was very polite, helpful, careful, and conscientious.

I called Sherman's for an estimate on moving from Indy to Chicago for use in negotiating an employment offer. They provided a rough estimate immediately over the phone. Very helpful - I will call them for actual move if offer is accepted.

They did a great job! They asked where I wanted to place the furniture. Later on, I said I needed some more things moved elsewhere and they came out and took care of it. They were great and I highly recommend them!

THEY DID A GREAT JOB, THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE, WE EVEN REQUIRED ANOTHER TRUCK AND THEY HAD IT AT OUR HOME IN AN HOUR. THEY GET THE JOB DONE.

These guys were on time, very polite, did the job in about 30 minutes, and were very pleasant to deal with. They made no marks on the walls, banister, or woodwork trim. They were excellent!!

They told me I would have three experienced movers and they sent two experienced and one, not so experienced. There was a piece that was broken beyond repair. I have not called them yet though to let them know. There was damage to a couple of other pieces but it is not that noticeable. Their price was reasonable compared to a couple other estimates I received.

I had a lot of stuff and they did a great job. I did end up with two crews. I highly recommend them, they were very professional and fantastic.

Everett and his crew arrived early, were efficient and completed the job in about four hours. They were polite and friendly, but stayed on task and finished the move with no lost or broken items.

We were a little disorganized - but the guys really helped a lot. They were very nice about everything. They were professionals. Everything got moved okay. I would definitely recommend them.

They were all on time and VERY polite. All three men worked very hard and only stopped for a quick lunch break. We were very impressed with them and didn't have anything broken in the end.

Overall experience was exceptional. The lead mover was very confident in his crew and the job they were to perform. There is an art to moving and they have mastered it. I am very pleased I chose the SHERMAN MOVING & STORAGE COMPANY INC for my move. I highly recommend this company.

We've used Sherman before. It was a different crew, but still the same professional service. Highly recommended. My recollection of rate is $160/hour. I also tipped the three movers.

It was the hottest day, and they were very friendly and hardworking.

The three movers came to my mothers apartment and moved the belongings to my house. They handled the washer and dryer with eased. After they dropped my stuff, I had them drop more stuff at Christy's Auction Service. Everything went great except the movers charge me a half an hour to go back to their office. I know it only takes 15 minutes from Christies to their office. This is the reason I gave you a "B" on price. One other note. Ask if you can turn on the radio in someone's place before doing so. I did not care if the movers did play the radio or not.

They were a little late but when they arrived they immediately realized they needed another truck. I have had other movers help in the past -- these guys were so much better - they were very polite, knowledgeable and professional. There were no crashes, bumps, curses, etc. They had to take several pieces of furniture apart to get it through the doors and put them back together. Nothing was damaged or lost. Awesome job!

I recommend the crew that moved us. Matt and his crew were excellent. They are very professional and friendly guys. No damage whatsoever. They worked very hard and were very careful.

Way too expensive, I was significantly overcharged by about $600 to $700. They did not plan the work properly & were more worried about getting back before 5:00 than doing the job correctly. I was also charged an excessive amount of travel time. The original estimate was $3000, then revised to $5000, then finally revised to $3500 + materials. The $3500 + materials is probably reasonable. How did they ever get A grades? I would like you to help me get a $600 to $700 refund. Thanks

The movers were well mannered and very good to deal with. I did have a concern about the extra day that it took to move. I discussed it with Sherman Movers and they resolved in a very fair manner. The experience was very good!

I am glad to share with other Angie's List members the very good experience it is to move with Sherman Moving. The crews were on time, pleasant to talk to and were completely professional in moving furniture and taking care to avoid damaging walls and carpet. Their work pace is constant, and they know what they're doing.

They were on time, polite, neat, and very cordial. But they made several nasty marks and one deep gouge about 12-14 inches long in the walls of my former home. It was a very hot and humid day, and their work was difficult for weather like that, I realize. The one mover leaned against a wall of my new home, centering the bottom section of my china cabinet, and dirty sweat ran down the wall from his arm!!! On my freshly painted walls!!! The gentleman who appeared to be the supervisor of the other two was principally that, staying in the van and covering/uncovering the furniture for the most part. He only helped move things into my new residence a couple of times, when the articles were very heavy/bulky.

The crew that came was right on time, polite, and courteous. They took time and a lot of care while handling our furniture. There was just one minor smudge on one of our walls in which they made right by subtracting from the total. I would hire them again for another job.

Received very friendly help in receiving a phone estimate on moving. I decided to use another company (recommended by other Angie's List members) based on the hourly rate, but I was impressed with their customer service.
