Excellent! Jason came to the house, at my request, to give me an estimate of the cost of the move, which was very helpful as well as accurate. The moving crew was punctual, professional and very careful with our furniture and possessions. They communicated well, asking me my preferences and telling me what to expect. At the new home, there were 3 sets of stairs to maneuver, but the guys never complained about the added difficulty. One large piece was an exceptional challenge, but they stuck with it and figured out a way to get it to the room I had designated.

They were very helpful. It was a small job and took little time. Since I was paying a minimum fee, they wanted to make sure I didn't have anything else they could help me with.

We would not let anyone else move us. No matter who they send out they are careful. They treat everything like it is precious and are very sensitive to things that may upset you. They are really tuned into the needs of the client, as moving can be stressful. Anything I can say nice about them I would, and I would certainly recommend them to anybody. They have been very consistent.

It was a great experience. In the not-so-distant past we moved from Indy to St. Louis and back again with another company, not a great experience. But Sherman Movers (whom I picked from Angie's List) were really great. The guys were professional and cheerful. They moved all of our things on the day before Thanksgiving and called in an extra truck so that we wouldn't all be there all night. It was a very smooth process and all things were delivered in great shape. I would definitely recommend this company.

Jason was great in providing an estimate for us as well as rescheduling our move when the closing of our home was delayed. I was initially concerned that all of our stuff would fit on the truck in one trip, as his estimate stated. A couple of hours into the move, the crew leader gave us a couple of options in order to complete the job. First, we could have them simply unload all of our boxed items directly into the garage of our new house instead of distributing them throughout the home; or, we could call a second truck/crew to help complete the job. Adding the second crew would double the per hour rate that they charged and would have made the move very expensive so we chose to have the boxes unloaded into the garage. At this point I was still concerned that it would not all fit into the truck but they assured me they could get it all in. A couple of hours later, the crew leader gave me two options again. We could leave half a garage filled with our stuff that wasn't going to fit on the truck or call a second crew. This did not make me happy, not only was this going to cost more, but it should have been done in the first place and an hour or more was wasted as they tried to puzzle piece the last few feet of the truck knowing full well that they were not going to fit it all anyway. I complained about the wasted time and why we didn't just get the truck out there earlier and was told that they didn't have another truck available anyway. To our dismay, we had to settle with making other arrangements for the remaining items at our home as well as unloading all the boxes from our garage into the house. Overall, the crew did a great job with our furniture and safely moving things out and back into our home. They were polite, hard working and a very friendly group. Overall, we were moderately happy with the service and would use them again, however, the estimates need to be a little more accurate in order to provide the level of service that is paid for. Our bill was within $50 dollars of the original estimate, however, when we added the cost of the second move and the time and energy to move all of our boxed belongings into the house, we paid a few hundred more than expected.

They were terrific. I could not have gotten better service. The people were really good people and cooperative. Did not feel rushed by them.

They provided me an estimate within a couple of days that was reasonably priced. They were very attentive during the estimating process. In another week they got the move completed.

They gave me an estimate over the phone and I think I ended up paying a couple of hundred dollars more, but for the most part it was close. They were professional, friendly, and conscientious. They were very easy to work with.

They were very quick to get out which is why we went with them. They sent someone out the next day to help us. We would use them again.

Jason did the estimate over the phone and was extremely friendly and helpful. He asked lots of questions and was very clear about all the costs and options. In the end, another company with a slightly lower cost (minimal) was available on the day we needed. I think Sherman was booked that morning. I would not hesitate to quote or use them in the future.

I selected Sherman first because they were highly rated on Angies List. Unfortunately the price quoted for my move was much higher than I expected, especially since I was not moving that much furniture and the move was only a few miles from my current location. Sherman's was responsive, polite and professional. I decided to get some additional quotes and was able to find another quality firm on Angies List to do the move for almost half what Sherman's quoted me. I had a good experience and would be more than willing to call them again in the future.

They can to our house and provided us with an estimate. They arrived the day of the move on time and moved all of our furniture from one house to the other. We had a large piece of furniture that won't go into the basement. They removed some of the pieces to make sure that they were able to fit it into the room.

My experience with them was great. The guys were very efficient. They were very strong. They had to carry the piano around the back of the hous.e thye were curtious.

We've lived in this house a long time and have a number of collections. We also do a lot of canning with quite a bit of canned food and equipment. The enormity of the amount of stuff we had to move isn't evident when describing the house (square footage, number of rooms, etc. that are typically addressed in a quote. When the men first arrived they were a bit dismayed by the amount of stuff and knew it would take more men and time that at first allotted. They worked to get everything done in two days and they did. These men are professional, pleasant, and hard working. They came on time and worked the entire time, only stopping for lunch. They packed carefully and packed our furniture with care. The estimate was higher than the quote but the estimate was made with inadequate information from us. The price was high, but not out of line considering the volume of stuff we had to move. We would definitely use Sherman moving company again.

The move was complicated and difficult not to damage walls. They were very careful.

The experience was just OK. The movers were friendly but seemed to take their time. Also added an extra hour to the bill. It was a short move and only one truck load. I feel they milked the trip between the apartment and the condo. I would not recommend them.

They arrived when they said they would and got right to work. It was done in around 3 hours. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a move. They asked what was being moved and what wasn't. It was a great experience. As an added note, one of the men that moved me yesterday, said he had moved Angie three times. So he must have been pretty good.

From the time I scheduled the move with Sherman to the last box being unloaded, I could not have asked for a better moving experience. Jason was very professional and knowledgeable in coordinating the double move. The guys showed up on time and were very careful in moving some family antiques, they did a excellent job from packing the truck to navigating some of the narrow doors in my home. I was overly impressed with the attitude and professionalism of the entire crew they were very willing and went above and beyond of some our requests, compared to my last move a few years back where the movers were more interested in their smoke breaks than our move. I would definitely recommend Sherman moving and I will be using their services again in the future.
