We built a house that was completed before we sold the existing house we were living in. We first had all the items in our basement moved to the new house and continued living in the old house. The first move went well, but I felt like the movers took their time due to charging by the hour. The second part of the move we had enough furniture moved so that we could live in the new house, but still have the old house stage for selling. I asked for a different crew to be sent this time. Two of the crew were different, but one of the original crew came for this move. Again, they were careful, but they moved very slowly and seemed to take multiple breaks. I decided to give them another try for the third and final move of our furniture. My wife complained to them that they weren't working very quickly. They tore some veneer off of a dresser when they scooted across a carpeted floor. My wife pointed this out to them and at first they denied that they had done the damage. My wife found the veneer in the carpet. so they couldn't argue about it. She asked what they would do about it. The main man said he needed to call his boss. After fifteen minutes (which we were still paying for at $2/minute) he said they would take $30 off the bill. My wife said that wasn't good enough, so they took $50 off. All the time we were still paying them $120/hour, so she told them just to get finished and leave. All in all, they were careful. I feel like they took their time since they were being paid by the hour. I would not hire them to move me again. All told we paid them about $2500 for the three moves.

Move was excellent! Very professional, on time, handled our furniture and household goods with utmost care. Movers were willing to work above and beyond. They were polite and clean, and always acted in a professional manner. Treated our items as if they were their own. Would highly recommend Sherman Mvg. especailly team of Everitt, Damon, Mike, and Wayne.

Movers were not respectful of the house and refused to wear shoe protectors to prevent getting the carpets dirty. The antique corner cabinet was damaged (one of the leaded glass windows has scratch marks from the clamp on the strap as well as slight damage to the cabinet edge) that did not notice until was cleaning it later and had not reported it when filled out assessment of movers. The movers were not very careful with the straps and clamps and there were scuff marks on some other pieces of furniture that was minor and not a big deal (unlike the corner cabinet). Seemed like one of the movers (used 3) was immature and did not do as good a job taking care of the furniture as the older movers.

Everything went very well. They had three really good guys helping us. They were friendly and helpful.

All contact was good. Crews communicated well with us & with each other. Friendly & willing to do all we asked. Their ability to get second truck & crew saved the day. This was our best overall moving experience. Crew seemed like working with friends and/or family.

We had a lot of items and if you were to use them and if you know you are going to have a lot of stuff I suggest telling them up front that you may need more than 1 truck. Also if you want to tip them, make sure to have cash on hand.

It was a great experience. They loaded very carefully. Nothing was damaged. Two of the gentleman that loaded were the "unloaders" and they were very professional, respectful, reliable, and enjoyable people.

As usual, they were very professional. They were careful with all my belongings, including some antiques. I would certainly do business with them again.

My husband and I have moved a lot in our lives, this was our son's house and I've never dealt with movers like this before. I would not hire them again.

They did it very well. They made sure everything was securely packaged for us and they also stored it for us for about two or three months. They delivered it and unpacked it for us too. I thought they were very careful and with any moving company you have to expect a little bit of damage. The damage was less than what I expected and I was happy with them.

They were very neat and careful. It was a cold snowy day. They worked in a professional effective way. Everything went very smoothly with no snags at all. The price was fair and reasonable.

The crew was nice and got the job done quickly. They were simply outstanding.

They did a job on short notice. They gave us a quote, and showed up on time. They even made two stops for us to unload some of the items. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Nothing was broken.

They gave us an estimate and gave a walk-through at our home. They were courteous enough to give us 2 days to think about it. We then called them back and scheduled an appointment. They were prompt and on time. I had some of the boxes and some of the smaller items and dishes ready to go. They did move the larger pieces of furniture, and we were moved in 1 day. They offered to do packing for us. However, we didn?t need them to do any packing because we had most of it done.

They stayed close to their estimate and were actually fun to work with. They were respectful of the house and didn't break anything. We would definitely recommend them to others. They were very responsive.

When the job turned out to require more movers than they had estimated they called in another crew and truck to get us finished on the timeline we required. Some of the crew members had moved us previously so they were familiar with the furniture! Crew was exceptionally easy to work with, friendly, hard-working and adaptible. We have used Sherman Moving 4 times with a good experience each time.

They were reliable over the phone and the estimate. I had a positive interaction with the office staff.

Due to some problems with house closings, I had to reschedule my move twice. The first change was with less than 24 hours notice; I was not charged a fee for cancelling (which surprised some people who have heard this story). The crew arrived on time, worked hard, and were careful with both my belongings and my houses. I still have some things to unpack, but so far I've only found one item that sustained some damage in the move, and that was a file cabinet that was not put together that well in the first place.

I have used this moving company before and they do a great job. They are not the cheapest, but their quality and dependability are top notch. The office staff and the movers themselves are all professional. Everytime I have used them nothing has been broken or damaged. They even put down drop cloths in the new house to ensure the rugs would not get dirty. Furthermore, once the truck was unloaded, Wayne and Ronnie offered to arrainge our furniture.

They were professional and friendly to my son who was running around. They were able to move the really heavy stuff without a problem.

They were at the location as promised and quickly transferred our contents to the new building. Only some items we did not pack properly were slightly damage. Overall, a great experience. We have used them in the past and would recommend them to others.

They did an excellent job. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend them to others.
