Good I believe. They moved my son from an apartment to a house. My son had no complaints. He gave an overall rating of B+.

Excellent from beginning to end!

They delivered what they said they would service wise. They quoted me half what it ended up being time wise, quoted hourly said it would only take 5 hours and it ended up taking 10. Their work performance was excellent. We worried about scratches on wall and they protected our walls and floors of our new home.

They were very good; the crew worked steadily and the crew was very careful not to damage furniture and the company and crew were courteous

They did a great job. We stored our piano and our treadmill. The storage facility was climate controlled so our piano teacher told us that it didn't’t need to be tuned after the tuned. We also refinished all of our hardwood floors. They were conscientious about making sure that they didn't’t scratch the floors. They helped us put stuff on our furniture while moving it in the house.

They did an outstanding job. They were professional and prompt.

We had a great experience! All the employees at Sherman Moving went above and beyond our expectations. From the knowledgeable and pleasant people in the office to the polite and professional men who moved us, we couldn?t be more pleased! The saleswoman we spoke with to get an estimate and actually set up the move was able to accommodate some tricky scheduling and unique circumstances that allowed our move to go off without a hitch. On the day of the move, the men arrived on time, were hard working throughout the day and very considerate. We couldn?t have asked for a better group of men to move us! There was no damage to our furniture or home and they were willing to move many pieces several times as we were trying to arrange our furniture into a new space. This was our best experience with a moving company and will definitely use them again if ever needed!

I called Sherman Moving about a week ago. I've used other movers in the past, but this was was the best experience ever! Their office staff was professional and efficient in determining our needs. We discussed different options and scenarios (including storage). They guided me through the process and assured me everything would be fine. We choose Sherman due to great reviews and talking to friends/neighbors. Everyone had impressive things to say about them and they were right. Their men are are best. These guys packed and moved our entire house in 2 days without a hitch. Nothing was damaged, scratched or broken. I couldn't believe it. One of the crew members even returned all the loose change found in my living room sofa! I will never use another mover. The men were courtious and maintained a fantastic attitude during the entire process. I've always dreaded moving in the past, but not any more. THANK YOU SHERMAN MOVING!

APPALLING ! I've thought long and hard about turning in such a terrible review but the last straw was that I found jewelry missing so I want everyone to know. When I called for an estimate, I answered the questions as they were asked - how much furniture - answer 2 bedroom suits, living room, dining room, washer, dryer, approx. 30-50 boxes of packed goods. I was told that it usually takes 2-4 hours to move and that they would send a team of 3 men. I asked for a quote - they said "we charge $130 per hour". They said we will have your team there between 11 AM and 1 PM on the day of moving as we have a small job before yours. I called them the day before to check to make sure we were still on for the following day and they said yes - between 11 AM and 1 PM - they will call about 30 minutes out. The day of moving - we waited and finally at 1 PM I called them and was told that they were still at the previous job. At 2 PM - I called them again and was told they were still doing the previous job - i asked if, since it was so late, they would be able to move me in the time given and they said yes, so I confirmed by saying "they will work to completion ?" the answer was yes. Finally at 2:45 they arrived. The "supervisor" of the crew came in and upon first look at my furniture he said -"this is too much furniture to move in this amount of time - I need to call the boss". The rest of the moving crew came in and started immediately commenting on how heavy my furniture was. The "supervisor" came back into the apartment and said that another crew was coming to help becuase they were done and in Carmel. After wasting about 30 minutes on calling the supervisor and complaining about how heavy my furniture was they started moving things to the truck. The second crew showed up and after some time to coordinate they also started moving things fairly slowly. Now, mind you, we had already dismantled the beds, the large dining table and anything else that needed take apart we already did for them. We also moved all the boxes into the hall way - out of the way so they could be put on the truck last - 4 hours later the 5 men had about 95% of everything loaded (they left several things in the hallway but we were so frustrated we went back later and got them ourselves). I found it odd that they spent what seemed to be a LONG time inside the truck when they took things in. I found them talking on cell phones and comiserating about how heavy the furniture was. We met them at the new apartment in the same complex and they started bringing furniture in - to make it speedier I told them to put any boxes in the garage that was directly across the hall from the entrance to the building and I would get them the next day. At one point, a mover was laying in the floor of my new living room complaining about his back. After it was all moved in, the "supervisor" told all the movers to go to the truck and that he would be back with the bill. He came back about 10 minutes later with an invoice for $1300 !!! I looked at it and said "this is NOT our agreement - i was quoted $130 an hour" He said "thats for 1 crew - you had 2" I told him that I didnt ask for 2 crews - the company just sent them. He said I approved it. I said No I didnt and I wasnt paying for it. he said if I didnt pay the whole bill that He would call the crew back in and take my TV's !!! I told him I would call the Police ! He called the business owner. The owner said he called me and that I approved having 2 crews. I said NO - I can clearly show you my cell phone and you did NOT call me. He called me a liar. I told him I wasnt paying the bill. He said he didnt know how we could resolve the issue - I told them tht I would pay $700 that night which was the hourly rate I was quoted. They also told me at the END of the move that they not only charge the hourly rate but it started when they left their LAST job. I gave them a check and said I would try to get in contact with the business owner on Monday but as far as I was concerned I was not paying the rest of the bill because I never approved being charged for 2 crews for my move. Since that time, I've gotten an invoice for the remaining $600 which I am not paying and I've found that several of my jewelry pieces, a gold and Tanzanite ring of my mothers and a gold and Ruby ring of my grandfathers plus several pieces of costume jewelry are missing from a jewel case that was in my nightstand. I have never had such a terrible experience with any business ! Please do not use this company - they will go to any lengths to rip you off even to the lengths of threats and stealing - I was so disappointed that I could encounter a company like this on Angie's List. I joined the list to make sure I didnt encounter any companies who have no ethics - it did not help in this case !

I called and spoke to someone immediately on the phone. They were able to provide a quote over the phone. The person on the phone was very informative and professional. The reason I didn't go with this company is because I wasn't able to find a new residence in the new city within the short amount of time I had to relocate. Their prices were competitive and fair. If I would have been able to find a residence in the new city, I would have hired this company for the job.

They are wonderful and do a fabulous job.

They were very good. Showed up on time and were pretty quick considering they had to move us from a third story walk up (no elevator). Nothing was broken, they tried to keep things clean as they loaded and unloaded the truck. They did take a small chunk out of the wall and left a few scuff marks, kind of to be expected in a move. Nothing that couldn't be touched up with a little paint. Overall, they were quick and professional. I would use them again.

The estimate for the move was given and the price remained as given. We updated them on any changes to the inventory and they made adjustments only if needed. We ordered 3 wardrobe boxes and they arrived with extras just in case. They called us on the day of the move to inform us of the expected arrival time. They were very prompt. The two movers were polite and professional. They covered our hardwood floors, swept snow from the walkway, and moved everything very carefully. They informed us of the expected arrival time for the following morning and arrived exactly on time. They had to carry his items up to the third floor and everything arrived in great shape - no damage to furniture, no dented boxes. This was the best moving experience I have ever had.

I was so pleased with Sherman Moving. They arrived perhaps 15 minutes after their estimated time (which is right on the nose compared to a lot of the other reviews I've read), and I knew that it would be a simple move when I set it up. They finished in about 1 and 1/2 hours, and there was absolutely no dilly dallying. I paid less than half than I paid when I moved stuff from another house to the storage unit, and got out of there for around $300, not including tips for the three gentlemen. The guys who moved me were all very friendly and helpful. I rejoined Angie's List to find a good moving company because I was so upset with my last one, and Sherman Moving paid my AL subscription 10 times over. I'm glad to have a mover I can trust and afford in Indianapolis.

I had a heavy piece of furniture to move into the basement. Dennis C., James C., & Sam H. came out and moved the item easily and without damage to eachother, the item or the house. Exellent service!

I had a fantastic experience with Sherman. I learned on a Friday about the availability of a piano, IF I could move it by that following Monday. I contacted Sherman and explained my problem, and they were able to accommodate with a Monday morning move. They arrived early (were waiting for me at the townhouse), quickly moved the piano and delivered it to my home. They were extremely careful, yet fast, with their delivery. They waited for me while I rearranged some furniture at my home to make room for the piano. They were great, extremely responsive, friendly and helpful.

Wayne, Sam and Andre did a great job of loading most of our things and were very conscious of the time that would be required. Wayne stated that in order to not make the move overly long and drive our cost up, they should have the truck loaded by noon. They were able to load all of our larger items (furniture, appliances, framed artwork, etc.) and many of the smaller things by noon and had everything into the new home by 4:30. To keep our costs down we loaded most of the boxes and smaller items onto a U-haul ourselves the day prior to having Sherman handle the big stuff. Based on their recommendation, we also took the time to break down bed frames and remove table legs. The guys did an excellent job and everything arrived at the new house intact.

The movers worked efficiently and quickly. They only took a small break for lunch. We had a couple issues, but the owner took care of them and was very professional about everything.

Have used this company several times. We always recommend this company to family and friends. They arrive on time and are very courteous. I can't say enough good things about their work. Pleasure to work with.

The movers were on time. We were told that they would do whatever needed to be done--and they did. They packed what still needed to be packed, moved a sofa to a neighbor's house at our request, moved everything in good shape, put furniture in place and set up a bed. They worked hard and were polite and very helpful.

I found out about them through Angie's List and I have used them twice. I was pretty happy with everything they did. The cost was around $600 one time and maybe $800 the other.
