They did an excellent job, the same people load, packed and deliver your things which I thought was great.

The move went well. Nothing appears broken, scratched, shattered, etc. I was a little surprised about how much it ended up costing us overall, but I think I underestimated just how much stuff we have. Sherman crews work at an hourly rate and they don't slouch! They were moving on/off the truck and in/out of the house the entire time. All the movers were friendly and courteous. I had asked for a quote from another provider too and their's was very detailed, but Sherman was just by the hour and they figured it would take me about 5 hours - what I didn't factor was that they were estimating 5 hours for the move out and another 5 hours for the move in. They also kept my stuff in storage for 7 days and I would have had to pay for the crew to unload the truck and reload the truck at the storage facility. Luckily, they were able to keep it all on the truck saving me approximately $800. I also had a rented a storage unit from PODS that was delivered on move-in day. I had moved stuff into the POD earlier in the year over several different days. The Sherman crew helped me unload that too, which was a HUGE help.

I had three gentleman arrive promptly and quickly introduced themselves. They explained what they were going to do, and they asked me what I needed done. These guys were amazing. It was a very cold, snowy day, and they didn't complain once. They were quick and very efficient. They even had an extra prong on their truck to hook my washer up with. Also, I had purchased a dryer vent tube and they installed that too. They were clean in loading and unloading even with all of the snow. I had never used movers before, but if all moving companies were like them, it would be amazing. I had a complicated bed to take apart and put back together, and they did it effortlessly. I definitely would use Sherman Moving Company again.

movers were courteous and on time I am very unhappy with the cost. The email I received made it sound as if the travel time was part of the cost and was not clear that travel time was additional. So, I was expecting $300 and paid $525 because of 1.5 hours of travel time.

We decided to move the furniture ourselves to save the money.

You just cannot beat the services of this long time locally owned company with the big red trucks. Even a last minute one day postponement in my move date did not cause any issues. Services are billed flat rate by the hour and the two men who handled my move were respectful of my possessions and of me. Arrived on time, opened the truck and got to work immediately. No goof off time nor stretching of the hours at pick-up, delivery, or during drive time. Very professional, very good value for the money. Will perform full packing & moving services or move boxes packed by customer-very flexible. Plan to both recommend this company to others as well as personally use them again in the future.

Excellent - 2nd time to use them and this time was as good if not better than the1st. Moved everything to their storage. Had one item that needed to be wrapped and boxed, which they did - on Tme, fast courteous. The staff and work crew are A1 - Every contact I have had with them has been most professional, helpful and left me feeling confident that our entire house will be safe.

It was a good experience. They arrived right on time, and came with 3 guys and a big company truck. They got right to work loading our boxed belongings into their truck. They were very focused on the job and didn't take breaks -- this was great as they charge hourly, so we really feel like we got our moneys worth. Including their travel time, we paid for 4 hours of labor. These guys did a great job and were totally worth what we paid! Very careful with our items -- we're still finishing unpacking but have not yet found anything that was damaged in the move. Would definitely use them if we move again in the future.

Three men showed up right on time after they had called to say they were on there way. They reviewed the layout of the house and decided the best way to move the piano so that they would not damage the house or the piano. They had appropriate equipment with them and had no trouble getting the piano on their truck. They were just as careful at the house where the piano was going to.

There were several issues; but Mr. Sherman worked with us in resolving all of the issues. Mr, Sherman made the experience very nice.! He was quite concerned and very pleasant to work with!

Matt's crew was great! They showed up early and got right to work. They were careful not to damage any furniture or belongings. When we got to the house to unload, they were super fast but still took the time to get our items and boxes to the correct rooms. Our final bill came in under estimate so we were thrilled! We will use this company again!

Three men arrived a few minutes early, ready to move a very heavy antique upright grand piano. This piano has a solid cast iron interior. It weighs no less than 900 lbs. They had the piano secured in the truck in less than 15 minutes. They followed me to my house where they assessed where I wanted it. I have ceramic tile in my entry way. They padded the floor with cardboard to avoid crushing the tile. They asked me if I had leg coasters to protect my hardwood flooring. I didn't have them so they recommended what I should use and rested it on cardboard until I could buy them. They were very friendly and professional. It was worth every penny to have it moved professionally.

We had extensive water damage because they put the hose from the washer in a cabinet and didn't put it in the drain like she should have. This was a problem but they have been very forthright, accepted the responsibility, and are going to take care of it.

Nice guys. On time. Interacted well with multiple family members including elderly confused parents. Moved some furniture several times when asked. Didn't get ruffled about things. Helped the day go as smoothly as possible.

Allen and Andre arrived at the scheduled time. They moved my furniture down 2 flights of stairs and into the truck. Everything was padded and secured in the truck. They seemed like really nice guys and they worked very efficiently. Moving into the new unit, they were able to get my very large two piece entertainment center up a small flight of stairs with a turn in the middle. Other than one small mark on the wall there was no damage, but frankly given the tight space I was amazed they could move the piece upstairs at all. The move ended up taking slightly longer than what I was quoted, but I was expecting this as it required some time to get the large item upstairs. Also, a large part of the move time was driving since they had to go down to Bloomington and back. I felt that the level of service was worth the money. Before they left they asked if there was anything else they could help move. I would definitely hire these guys again.
