Overall it was okay. BUT,they charged me 45 min to make the drive to North Indianapolis and 45 to get back once they left. So, that math (At what I was charged) was $210!! That's right, $210 dollars just to drive to me and back!! Make sure you account for excessive driving times the movers say it takes to get to you. The move it self was pretty smooth, although it seemed like the main driver was pretty annoyed the whole time for some odd reason. Not the best attitude, but my stuff got delivered safe, so they certainly aren't the worst out there.

The crew of three were on time, flexible, careful, and courteous. Would definitely use them again.

They arrived at 9 am (they were supposed to be there at 8:30). They stated that the traffic was bad, so it took an hour and 15 minutes to get there. The men did a great job, and were courteous. The travel time was charged at $140/hour, and there ended up being at two and a half hours of travel time, which ended up costing $350 just for the travel time alone. So, although the coupon sounds like a good deal, it ended up being quite pricey when the travel time was added. The lesson learned would be to try to use a moving company close to where you live. I chose this company due to the coupon and good remarks on Angie's List, but if I had it to again, would have chosen a company with a similar Angie's rating at much closer proximity.

They were recommended to me by a friend plus they got a good rating on Angie's List. They did a great job. They charged me by the hour. They showed up when they're expected. They tooo very good care of it. Everything was fine. They moved all my beds and they put them back together for me. Anything else that I asked them to do, they were very good about that. They're from the South side and they charge you from when they leave the office. They took very good care of my furniture and I was very happy with them.

I had surgery recently so I am unable to use the service at this time. I will look into this company again when I'm ready for services!

I was VERY pleased with everyone I came in contact with at Sherman's Moving & Storage!! I HIGHLY recommend this company because the owners and their employees are wonderful to work with AND, (after shopping around) I found their pricing to be quite fair. For anyone thinking of moving, do yourself a favor and talk with the folks at Sherman's Moving & Storage!!

Great! 3 guys moved a small piano and lots heavy furniture easily. They were very careful and respected the home. Definitely would use again. Just remember you will need to add travel time costs to bill.

The gentlemen arrived on time, were very courteous and professional. These guys really know what they are doing! Very efficient and so careful with our piece. They even laid down cardboard to protect our floor from the dolly wheels. I would highly recommend this company, and I would use them again.

Our piano won't fit in our new home, so we'll have to find an alternative to paying for a piano moving service. Great response from the business, though, and they were very professional while scheduling our appointment via email.

Chris, Jeff, and Jeff at Sherman Moving Company were amazing. We asked them to help us load up a dumpster with unused items and furniture from our basement and garage. When they initially arrived, it became clear that the dumpster we had was not going to be big enough for all our items, but because Chris, Jeff, and Jeff were very strategic in loading the dumpster, they were able to make it all fit. They also went above and beyond by taking about 1/2 of the items to a local donation center for us, which helped us avoid ordering another dumpster. The guys were extremely patient and helpful. I initially thought the job would take two hours, but four hours later, I never heard a gripe. They were even patient when my four year old tried to help them out, even though him helping out delayed the removal process a bit. Not only will I use Sherman Moving Company again, I will specifically ask for Chris, Jeff, and Jeff to help.

I ordered the big deal for moving services from Sherman Moving and Storage. They indicated that due to heavy demand (of the big deal offer), they would not be able to provide moving services on the date(s) that I needed.

They were unable to meet my time frame I needed, so I have requested a refund from Angie's List. My only complaint was when I originally messaged them with the available dates for service all they responded back with was thank you. I had to call them to find out if they would be available, so might be good to provide for information when conversing with customers.

I called them and scheduled the moving date. The company told me that the travel time to my home would be included in the move time of the deal. This was not in the fine print anywhere. It takes 45 minutes to get to my home and back again. So essentially they would only be moving my items for one hour. I was disappointed how they handled the situation.

They did a great job. We had them move all of our furniture. No damage to anything. I would highly recommend Sherman!

Movers were courteous and very helpful. Went out of their way to be helpful especially with setting up beds and making sure furniture placement in each room was what we wanted. Definitely would use this vendor again.

My experience with them was simply a scheduling conflict. We have to move in a certain date range and they did not availability. My question as a new Angie's List customer, why can't I try to schedule with them prior to paying for the deal to avoid this refunding mess. This refund process is unnecessarily arduous. It should auto populate all of the above info. I am very unlikely to use your deals service again.

This was my first experience with hiring movers. I purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List. I could not have asked for a better experience. The entire crew was friendly, conscientious, and extremely efficient. I highly recommend this company!

Everything went well, and we were happy with the service. They only sent two men to do the work, but they didn't charge us for going over the three hour limit as way of compensating for this. Furthermore, the crew showed on time, was friendly and courteous, and didn't break any items during the project.

Went very well. They were right on time, handled our stuff with care and managed to get things moved into our new home very quickly and efficiently.

They were very nice about the whole thing and told me that I had to call Angie's List to get my refund.
