Real good they had a lot of bad angles and tough fits on the move but somehow managed to get everything in so it did take a little longer as they had to take some things apart and put them back together. Overall excellent job would definitely use them again. On the positive side the movers said they have been there at the same company for many years and it shows by the teamwork and care.

the guys arrived early. I would say that I didn't think this through, everything was clearly explained in their defense. I wont ever hire a mover that works by the hour, instead of by the job. last year I had 2 guys move me for $450 (same stuff, same mileage) this time I moved my wardrobe and kitchen on my own and even then.... this time there were 3 guys and it took longer? a lot longer this time it was $225 more? the driver decided not to take the interstate the whole way (because they are paid by the hour) I believe the guys were great, they didn't hurt any of my stuff etc, very friendly and professional I don't mind paying someone by the hour. I was told the drive time was included. the drive time overall seemed very inflated, stretched, abused etc, way to charge up the bill. they charge you when they leave their shop, Google maps estimated that depending the route they took, it could be 14minutes, 16minutes, 18 minutes. I was billed for more. a lot more same with the drive to fishers, and their return home. all seemed inflated beyond what google maps had estimated with the normal traffic im not a cheap person, the job got done, nothing was broken, that's all that matters. I just wont use a "by the hour" mover again. because they can be slower to move you instead of encouraged to move faster if paid by the job. same goes for the transportation factor

Went great, were early to arrive at first house, quick to load, had all tools needed. They made sure to protect piano and house.

They did a good job and worked efficiently and were very punctual.

They arrived on time and identified themselves. The two gentlemen were extremely pleasant and diligent to get the job completed in the 3 hour time provided by the service (includes drive time). They even helped me "arrange" the furniture which was greatly appreciated since I can not lift it on my own. I would hire them again.

Complaints: I had asked, twice, for movers to call when they were on their way, so that I could be prepared - open the gate for them, etc. They didn't call until they were outside waiting. It took them 20 minutes just to park. It was raining and they didn't cover any of the dining room or living room furniture. They were s-l-o-w. One in particular was very, very slow. I was surprised that it took 9 HOURS for the move, including a 30-min unpaid break for lunch. They were courteous, just incredibly slow and thus incredibly expensive.

This was my first professional move, and it was a very disappointing experience. The team of three men arrived prior to our scheduled 8:30 am start time at a family home where I was picking up a few items of furniture. A family member let them in, and they started moving before I arrived. When I got there, they did not introduce themselves and were not wearing any name badges, only company shirts. One man broke a glass lampshade. He suggested replacing it via the moving company giving me another one, but I said I wanted to choose. He took $25 off the bill. They dismantled a bedframe and one of the men carried the footboard from second to first floor by himself. He smacked the footboard into the wall at the bottom of the staircase. At my old apartment, I told them I needed to go upstairs to secure my pets before I could let them in. They started knocking before I was done. I opened the door, they walked in and started talking about how to move the items, and a mover shoved a box out of his path with his foot. A box secured with bright red duct tape with the label "BIRD" on top. The box I had just placed my cockatiel in and set down so I could answer their knock at the door. The bird wasn't injured, (this scenario would have played out very, very differently if one of my pets were hurt) but it's harder to make me angrier than when you needlessly endanger a living creature. I had all my furniture placed near the entry door for easy removal. They took all the furniture down an outdoor staircase which has a 180 degree turn at a small landing halfway down. I have a 3-seat dual reclining leather sofa, and I told them that two of the backrests are removable. They did not remove the headrests, they did nothing to wrap or protect the sofa, and they did nothing to cover the rough wooden bannisters. I walked out to see them rounding the corner with my sofa dragging against the wooden bannisters, and a cargo blanket on the ground of the landing. I'm not sure what it would do on the ground besides possibly make a move slip and fall. That was one of the last pieces of furniture, so I shudder to think how they handled the rest of it. When we arrived at my new apartment, before they started unloading I asked if it was customary not to protect the items they were moving. A mover replied that it is not possible to protect a leather sofa as it is moved. At the new apartment, they placed protectors on one of the doorways they had to go through. They placed furniture in the general areas where I said I wanted them. At one point I said I would like the sofa position adjusted, and they said they would do it later when all the furniture was in. As they were moving the last items in, I said that the move had taken longer than I expected (other companies had quoted me at approximately two hours, and I think we were at around 4?) I said it had taken longer than I expected, and that they might need to follow me to the old apartment less than 10 minutes away, so I could pick up a different payment method. At some point shortly thereafter, all three movers left the apartment. I sat for a few minutes waiting for someone to come up, but eventually I went outside to find out what was going on. They had closed all the entry doors, which automatically lock, and were sitting in the moving van. When I caught their attention, they said they were preparing my final bill. I told them they hadn't yet moved the sofa as I'd asked, and one mover came back up to the apartment with the bill in hand and moved my sofa. I paid and he left. He offered a very small piece of paper with blanks for potential feedback, and I told him what I had do say didn't fit. I didn't even know my movers' names until I saw them listed on the bill. After he left, I called the moving company to explain that this was not the experience I expected, paying a hefty price for an extremely highly reviewed company. The company rep told me that the men who who did my job were experienced and good workers, and that my complaint was an anomaly. He said that the claim that there's no way to protect a leather sofa while you're moving it was accurate. He said if I wanted more work done I should have stopped them and made them come back. I told him I am a small single female, dealing with a team of three men. I told him that I VERY specifically chose a top-rated company so that I wouldn't have to deal with men who didn't know their jobs or didn't want to do their jobs. I chose a top-rated company so that I wouldn't have to worry about photographing every item of furniture so I could prove when the damage occurred. I said there wasn't any damage that I could prove they caused, because I chose a company that was supposed to be trustworthy so I wouldn't NEED to worry about that. He offered to have the men come back; I said I wouldn't trust them to do more work. He took $75 off my bill. The men were certainly polite, but based on the way they handled my furniture and ran out before checking if the job was done, I can't fairly call them professional. They put together my bed's frame but left my boxspring leaning (tall way up) against the wall when they took off. The frame is now damaged because I had to try to get it in place myself so that I'd have somewhere to sleep. Overall, I'm disgusted with the experience of professional movers. I have friends that will move my things with that level of carelessness for free.

Things went very smoothly. One of the movers was a little less professional than the others, but the other two were very hard workers.

They are on the south side and I live in South Carmel and by the time they got to my home , I had 45 minutes left when they arrived at my home and I end up going over the time so they charged me extra and I asked them if they could do one more thing and they would not do it after I paid them .

If you use them, you need to make the company receptionist understand the scope of the job.

Sherman moving did a great job. We had an extremely heavy bank safe we needed moved from a basement to our new house. I would use them again for another moving job.

They were prompt, professional, and very careful to take good care of what they were moving as well as doorways, paint etc. I highly recommend using them for a move.

Move went wonderfully -- no complaints. Appreciated Jason's responsiveness to my emails in advance of the move (request for quote, questions about packing, times, etc.). Three movers and two trucks came on a Thursday to load, then delivered everything on a Monday morning. Workers were professional, punctual, and careful. Will use this company again and recommend w/out hesitation.

They arrived 15 minutes late. Normally no big deal but they charge for travel time which I didn't like. Seems dishonest to charge for their own "travel time" when they could be stopping off for breakfast before they get to your house.

Sherman's Moving had promised 3 movers for $150/hr. Originally he had sent 2 at $130/hr and we called and he assured us that he was short a few people and that another one was coming after another job. The guys were very friendly and they were fast and efficient. When they had gone to my sister's storage unit, they found most of it in mold and even was kind enough to help her move what was salvageable. Overall completely safisfied with the work they did!! Very professional and very courteous!!

Crew took apart desks but did not organize parts which caused confusion when it came time to put them back together. The attention to detail was poor. Also think they moved too slow. I was not feeling a sense of urgency. We ended up paying more than we wanted to do to complete the job.

Crew arrived on time and immediately went to work. We had almost everything packed, so they could start loading. They were careful with the large items and dropped off two items at my daughters house on the way to the storage unit. Later, when I moved to my new home, I would have hired them again, but they were not available. Good value for a short distance move.

Scheduled three movers for four hours to move my one bedroom apartment in Broadripple and my girlfriend's bedroom from her place in Carmel to a new two bedroom apartment in Zionsville. The movers called the day before to confirm the date and time and ensure they were stopping at three locations. The arrived on time and immediately went to work. I got their names, Troy provided the description of the work and a breakdown of expected time of completion. They finished my apartment in 25 minutes before we drove to the second location. They immediately went to work at the second location and even moved additional furniture not originally planned for when asked. They got everything unloaded at the last location in great time. Total it took the 2.5 hrs instead of the 4 we planned. They were professional and worked quickly. I couldn't have asked for it to go better. I'll be calling them again for my next move for sure.

It went well. It was a hot day and the crew went a little slow, which seemed to be from the heat. However, this cost us more than expected in time and money.
