Shane was prompt, courteous, very good at follow-up and letting me know when he would be there. Very punctual in getting the job scheduled. Will use again should I need any screens repaired.

It went very well. Shane arrived promptly and worked very efficiently to complete the job. I asked to have the screen door repaired even though it was not in the original estimate. He was very pleasant about accomodating that request. Its easy to see why he has such a great rating on Angie's List.

The overall experience was great. We have an older home and the screens needed replaced on the screen porch. Because of unusual design, we decided the best approach would be to build frames to insert into the opennings. Shane custom build each frame on site, ensuring they were securely attached and allowing the weather shutters to close. He was very reliable and the quality of the work and end result adds to attactiveness of the porch. We definitely will use him again.

Shane arrived as promised and completed the re-screening in less than 30 minutes; he thoroughly cleaned up his own debris and was on his way. The price may be a bit more than you would pay if you took the screen door to a home improvement store, but it was time saver by having the work done at my home. And that's worth alot! I would absolutely recommend recommend Shane's company -- without hesitation!

Shane was very responsive in answering questions and getting the appointment for service set up. He arrived at 6:30pm on the dot and measured the window that needed a new screen. He was in and out a couple of times ensuring that the new screen would fit properly (I appreciate the time and the effort.) and showed us the screen frame and how it would work before he installed it. After that he took care of rescreening the existing screens and took the old material with him leaving no mess. He even took an extra moment to set the screens by our door so we could access them easily. In addition, he was polite and professional. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Shawn rescreened 9 of our screens. He arrived on time, accomplished the work quickly and efficiently, and did an excellent job, all at a very reasonable price for the work accomplished. We would definitely use him again if the opportunity arises.

The overall experience went exceptionally well. I called Shane after seeing the Angie's list big deal. He called right back and scheduled a day the very next week to come out and take a look at the porch. He was very through and explained to me exactly how he was going to repair the porch screens. He seems to love what he does. Even though the Big Deal didn't apply to screen porch screens, he still gave me a discount and the price was very good. He came out the very next day after looking at the screens & sending a convenient quote through email, and got right to work at 8:30 in the morning as he had scheduled with me. Even the screens that he repaired looked just like the new screens he replaced. He did such a good job that I had to keep asking him which ones were repaired and which ones were new because I couldn't tell the difference! I cannot tell you how happy I am with his work, professionalism, and punctuality. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs screens repaired, replaced or made new.

Sean was excellent. Easy to schedule, got back to us right away, and was early to the appointment. The one thing it did not say in the deal was the screens needed to be removed before service and you have to put them back in the windows yourself, but Sean kindly removed them for us rather than reschedule. (Not a huge problem, but it happened to be a cold, rainy November day and we have an 8 month old daughter so it took a day or so for us to find time and good enough weather to replace the screens without making the house freezing. Better if you know this ahead of time and can plan accordingly!) He was super fast too. I've done this myself in other places I've lived and it can be a real mess. Plus I never seem to get the tension quite right so they sometime sag in the wind and end up with black, stained, aching fingers after trying to cram the seal back in place. This was zip, zip, zip and done perfectly! A few of our windows (old house) are irregularly sized so I also wasn't sure exactly what size screen fabric to buy. Sean came prepared. We plan on using him in the spring for a few of our other windows if this deal pops up again. The screens there are metal and there's a few places that could use patching, but rescreening looks much nicer!

Shane was quick in scheduling the initial appointment, at which he showed up with all tools/materials required to do the screen repairs, He also build temporary screen units for my front windows, which were later replaced by heavy-duty screen units Shane built. All-in-all, Shane came out 3 or 4 times and was incredibly diligent in scheduling follow-up appointments. I wish all trades people with whom I deal displayed Shane's diligence, competence and respect for my time. I'd certainly use this business again and recommend, without reservation, Shane and Screens n' Things.

Excellent job plus! We took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal, offering screen replacement. We had a screen door going out to our deck in much need of replacement, so this seemed perfect. Shane contacted us almost immediately to schedule, giving several options within the next couple of weeks. I scheduled but mixed up my dates, but Shane said it was not a problem and he could take care of it even if we were not home. Shane came by as scheduled. When I got home later that day I found that Shane not only did an excellent job on the door, but threw in a few other little things such as fixing the door closer and tightening up the latch on the gate to our fence! Above and beyond the job at hand, but we certainly took notice. We recommend this company!

Excellent experience -- Shane arrived exactly on time and proceeded to put new mesh on all my screens, working in my garage. He told me about where the clips should be, and advised me how best to replace the screens in my windows in the spring. I highly recommend Shane's work!

I bought a Big Deal for them. The guy was on top of everything and he emailed me a couple of times to remind me to schedule it quickly which was handy. He was really efficient. The description of the Big Deal made it sound like he would be putting in a new frame but when he got here he told me that he would be replacing the screen material on the existing frame. It was fine because I have enough windows that needed to be worked on.

Overall, our experience was excellent. We will definitely continue working with them. They came on time and they were professional.

Shane arrived on time and did an excellent job. He cleaned up after himself and took my old screens away with him. Having him come to the home was so much easier than lugging 20 large and bulky screens to a hardware store (which would have taken a couple of trips ) and then not getting them back for 2 weeks! The job was done in 3 hours with no hassle.

Shane was a great communicator via email from the beginning. He came and replaced the screens and was very neat. We did have a slight problem with a couple of them and when I contacted him he immediately responded and scheduled a time to come fix them, which he did at no additional cost and very well. We also asked him for an estimate for some windows, which we can't afford right now, but we were very happy with the speed at which he provided the estimate and with the detail he gave us (links to images, etc.). We would hire him again, definitely.

I received an email from Shane Johnson the same afternoon I purchased the Big Deal. He wrote to confirm my order, set up an appointment and confirm the number and sizes of the windows I wanted rescreened (so he could bring the correct materials). He answered all my questions and was very accomodating when I had to change my appointment time. He responded very quickly to my emails. In person (as in his messages) Shane was professional, courteous, genial, and informative (he told me where I might be able to find a replacement part for an old window). In short - he was a very nice guy and hard worker who I was immediately comfortable with and who I would definitely call for additional work.

Shane came as scheduled and replaced some of the screens that had been damaged. Several of the older, custom screens needed to have the screens stapled so Shane set up an appointment to come back. He did and finished the job. There was a problem with a couple of screens coming out in the corner and sides. I called him right away and he came back and fixed the problem. He was very responsive and completed the job with integrity. I would have him back again and highly recommend him.
