Jim and his assistant showed up on time and were very courteous and knowledgable about the vents. My vents had not been cleaned in a very long time, and Jim walked me through every step, telling me what he was doing and why he was doing it. At one point, he needed to get into my attic to look at something and, while he was up there, fixed (with my permission) an airflow issue with an air duct that I didn't even know was broken. He also noticed some issues that I was having with my furnace and water heater and gave me some tips on those. He also gave me some contact information on who I could call to get those looked at. Overall, I was very impressed with this service and will be using them again in the future.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it went pretty well. They came out about a week to a week-and-a-half after I purchased the Big Deal. They did a great job and their punctuality and professionalism were good.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for dryer vent cleaning. The service date was arranged via email. The owner and his assistant arrived on time, and were very professional. They explained what they were going to do, answered my questions, and then cleaned the dryer vent. Because some dust flew onto my deck and the yard, they also cleaned that up. I would use this company again, and may contact them for carpet cleaning in the future.

Vendor arrived outside the scheduled 9-noon time slot, but not by much. He apparently was delayed by other projects and bad traffic. Except for his late arrival, we are totally pleased with his service. The gentleman was very personable and professional, and we intend to use him again.

They were fine. They were friendly, warm and informative and he showed me what he was doing while he worked. I have no issues with them.

Best carpet cleaner around. I have tried others, but they did the best job by far! Friendly, honest, hard working, top notch owner and employees.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. They were fantastic. They were very professional. They were friendly and showed up on time. Overall I was happy.

It worked out really well. The gentlemen found out a couple of problems actually. I was shocked to discover that there was a bird's nest in my dryer vent. They were blocking the airflow. I want to say he saved my life but in a way he kind of did. That could have burned my house down. It was pretty serious, what he found. They came out on an agreed upon date. There were extra charges. To be fair, I don't think the guy had any intention of being there. He put in a lot of extra work above and beyond what would have been a pretty standard dryer vent clean-up. The additional charge was $125. I don't really have an issue with that. With the exception of learning that it was going to be $125 after the work was finished. He had no idea what he was getting himself into. I didn't expect him to do what he did for the price. I wouldn't expect him to do that same amount of work for just $60. His time is valuable as well. I had to move my appliances. He wanted me to remove the door to my washer and dryer area. When he left, I had to put everything back. What he did was incredibly valuable but I did a little bit of labor more than I thought I was going to do.

They arrived on time and introduced themselves and explained what they were going to do. They explained that my setup would require them to go on the roof which would incur an extra charge of $50. This price was much lower than previous providers had charged. They worked quickly and efficiently. They even told me my vent was not heavily clogged, which was so good to hear. I will definitely use them again. He did tell me about his carpet cleaning service and made suggestions for what to do when using my own carpet cleaning machine. Nice people.

It was quick and easy. There was a lot of dust outside on our deck from the exit vent, but they cleaned it up as best they could. It would have been perfect if it had been hosed down, but that's probably outside their scope of work. Someone from the office called me the next day asking if they had left a hose at our house, which they had not. Other than that, all went fine. I'm not sure on price. I purchased an Angie's List deal and can't recall how much it was exactly.

Two gentlemen showed up,were very personable, had me watch their work, gave me tips on keeping my dryer working in good condition and told me about a vent cover for the exterior air release that would keep birds, bugs, etc. out of vent. They then installed it as well. They were nice and funny, and told me about the other work their company offered. I would totally,and highly, recommend them, and will definitely use them again for other household needs.

We found Royal Treatment through Angie's List and decided to give them a call about a clogged dryer vent duct. Jim Davis and his nephew came out and took a look at our situation. They couldn't figure out where the dryer vent duct left the house and thought maybe the duct was broken in the crawlspace. Jim entered the crawlspace and informed us that while underneath the house he saw an unrelated issue he thought we should know about. Our AC oil had leaked for quite a while and caused extensive damage to the wood flooring under our utility room, as well as some mold issues. Jim didn't have to point this out, as that's not even why he was called to our home. But, not only did he point it out, he took pictures of everything and mailed them to us. The AC coil issue turned into a whole separate ordeal. Royal Treatment couldn't fix our vent duct on the first visit because they didn't have the proper camera to figure out where the dryer vent duct went outside. They came back for no additional charge a few days later and figured it out, though. I was amazed and disgusted by how much junk they blew out of the dryer duct! They got everything cleared out and installed a new cage around the dryer duct outlet, as it was below our deck in an area where critters might feel inclined to sneak in. All in all, I was very pleased with the service provided by Royal Treatment. My only complaint is that we had no idea they didn't accept credit card payment, and weren't prepared with cash or check (my wife had the checkbook and was away at time of service). Jim worked with me and came back later to collect money, but I felt bad.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. He was very good. He was very professional and very friendly. He was very nice. I would definitely call him again.

The two gentlemen showed up right on time. They explained how procedure worked, and did the work outside. Did not need to go into home. Neighbor came over and they cleaned his vent also. Probably did both jobs in less than 45 minutes. I felt they did a fine job.

I took advantage of an Angie's list special sale that advertised a dryer vent cleaning for $59.00. I signed up though Angie's List website and made the appointment with Royal Treatment for Monday, Aug 19 for between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. They called me around noon and said they could come earlier which was fine with me. Jim Davis and his nephew, Keith, arrived and were both very personable and got right to work. My vent exits out my roof, not the side of the house, which meant climbing up a ladder to get to it. It didn't take them long to clear it out. They filled a plastic grocery bag full of lint. No wonder it was taking my clothes a while to dry. At some point, Jim mentioned that they charge an extra $100 for any vent that comes from the roof. He said it was stated on the "coupon". However, I never saw a coupon nor was aware of one. He decided to charge me only $50 instead of the full $100. But still, instead of getting what I thought was a really good deal, I ended up paying $109 for the cleaning. Next time I'll be sure to inquire about any extra fees.

Roxana called to schedule the appt and called again to confirm. Jim and his asst arrived on time and went right to work. Both were friendly and professional. We have a 25+ foot dryer vent that runs through the crawl space and a rodent had gotten in and built a nest and then died. Jim removed the rodent and debris. I watched all of the junk he took from our vent and it was definitely a serious fire hazard. Not only is my piece of mind restored but the dryer is performing dramatically better.

First I will say that I felt Jim and his nephew effort or quality of work cannot be questioned. They continued to work until the dryer vent was completely clean. This effort took about 3 hours to complete and they continued to check to make sure it was clear. They then spent time cleaning up after themselves which I appreciate. There were only 2 areas where I felt could there could be improvement. First, it becomes somewhat inconvenient to reschedule when you can't make it and I have to quickly arrange a time to make this work. It would be nice in general for companies to do a "realistic" schedule. This may be difficult but it would help. Maybe some simple questions before arriving could help estimate time on a job. Second, if I purchase a "Big Deal" for a set price, I expect that the services will be based on what is written in that agreement. Here is the fine print for this "Big Deal" Professional cleaning of one dryer vent Dryer vent safety inspection and the Fine Print that is pertinent: Coupon is for residential service only (Our house qualifies) Appointments are to be performed during normal business hours (Appts were on dates/times they offered) Additional charges will apply to clean out exhaust vents exiting through the roof. (Ours does not). Additional fee may apply for animal removal or to repair any damages found. (They replaced the connection between dryer and house). I mention these because in addition to the $59 I paid for the "Big Deal", I was also charged $125. Part of this maybe for the connection but I was told that part of it was due to "Climbing on a ladder since it was not at ground level". This is a little miss-leading since it is not spelled out in the Big Deal. If you have an additional charge you should be clear and not just bring it up when you present the bill. This is not fair to the home owner. Again, I have no problems with the quality or effort that was given to perform the work but I would appreciate a clearer explanation before that you are going have these additional charges.

Two gentlemen arrived from Royal Clean and were very professional and courteous. They cleaned out the dryer vent informed me that it was really not that bad. This prompted them to ask if I was having an issue with the dyer or the vent. When I told them it was strictly preventative they congratulated me on being safe and proactive in trying to avoid a dryer vent caused fire. I would definitely sue them again.

Royal Treatment showed up on time, were very professional and personable, and did an excellent job. The vent had not been cleaned out since I move into my home about 3 years ago. The vent had been poorly maintained and presented a fire hazard. RT did a nice job of explaining what was wrong (it was a mess), and fixed the problem. The work was more than the "Big Deal" coupon was good for. It cost an extra $45 to do the job, which was reasonable, but I did not know the extra cost until after the work was done (which is why I gave a "B" rating under price). I certainly would hire Royal Treatment again.

I called Royal Treatment out to take a look my tile and grout in my kitchen. My tile was dingy and grout black. I could never keep it clean. They came and cleaned the tile and then after it dried they colored sealed the grout. I couldn't believe the difference. It made my whole house feel and look cleaner. I will be doing my bathroom next. Jim is so professional, funny and really cares about the customer. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He did a small pantry closet free of charge because of my budget. Thank you Royal Treatment.
