Royal Treatment

The technicians called to say they were coming, I had forgotten the appointment! They gave me tips on keeping the dryer vents clean and showed me where to look between cleanouts. They advised at least once a year.

Scheduling was quick. The service went really well. We were impressed with their professionalism.

He was late both times, first for dryer vent cleaning and also replacement of venting pipe. Was very unprofessional in things he discussed with me.

That took some effort but he did not complain even though he worked up quite a sweat doing the job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went fine. He did not leave the fine print because they charged a little bit more at a certain distance. He was a little bummed out about that, but the job was done well. Because it was on the second level, they charged another $50. They did a good job, my husband just was not comfortable with the $50. We will probably not use them again because he let us pay another $50.

The service was provided by the owner. They showed up on time and performed the service with no problems. They made some recommendations that we agreed with and purchased and new outside cover for the vent.

I want my $59.00 back as credit to my credit card.

My home is on a slab and thinking the inside vent connection behind my dryer would be their starting point, I had taken cleaning items off my dryer and and prepared that area so that they could easily move the dryer out a ways from the vent connection. One tech.just looked inside the dryer and said I had lint buildup in the filter run which, I was well aware of. I always keep the pull-out filter clean, but cleaning the 'housing' below this filter is almost impossible. Then he just glanced behind the dryer (without moving it) and said they would be cleaning the vent run from the outside. He said they had a "special" tool that blew the lint inside the pipe to the outside and it would get up to the opening behind the dryer. It was one of our bitter cold days and I could not figure out why they did not clean/blow out the piping from the back of the dryer to the outside. After they had been out for a few minutes, I also went outside to watch this operation. I'm not sure what their "special" tool was because all I saw was just an end of an air hose that they pulled out once they had finished. Since my washer sets close to the dryer, I cannot move my dryer out far enough to keep it clean behind the back of the dryer and the vent connection and not pull apart the connection; this would cause me another problem that would be hard for me to fix. To say the least, I was quite disappointed this company did not do any work inside the house, behind the dryer. A few years ago I had another company come out and they covered it all which is why I figured Royal Treatment conducted the same business practices. My lesson has been learned. I will contact another business and MAKE SURE part of their work includes the back of the dryer and maybe they will have a suction tool that can deeply clean the inside and underneath of the pullout lint filter area.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it was fine. It wasn’t quite what I expected and I don’t know if it was weather related. I was expecting them to come in and clean the dryer vent from the inside as well as the outside. Basically all they did was clean it from the outside, but they really didn’t inspect the dryer vent from the inside where it connects to the dryer. So I wasn’t impressed.

They cleaned out my outside dryer vent which was VERY full, and for $15 additional, they cleaned from the inside also. (This was an Angie's List special priced at $59.) Our outside vent was not installed properly, so they returned to do an estimate for the repair on that. Very professional, very helpful. Absolutely I would use them again.

The techs were very nice and knowledgeable. They came in, did the work and went on there way. It was great and I will sue them again with or without a deal from Angies List.

It was good. The problem was that I wasn't there when they came. I had a friend come to the house. They were punctual and nice over the phone.

I called the company today, Dec. 27th and she said she would have Jim come out today to fix it. It is now 6:25 and no one has been to the house today to replace the louver or called to make other arrangements. We were going to have them clean our carpets until all of this. We just don`t feel we can trust them to do what they say they will do.

After I purchased the Angie's list deal my communication with the company was prompt and my appointment was scheduled to my satisfaction. The two man crew Jim and Jeff (I think I got the names correct) called in advance arrived on time and performed the work in a competent and professional manner. It was cold and the ground was snow covered but the crew laddered up to our vent on the second floor and cleaned it completely. It had been many years since we had the vent cleaned and it needed it. I will not wait this long for he next vent cleaning and I will use Royal Treatment for the job.

They responded to my e-mail within a few hours and I was able to set up an appointment that fit with my schedule. They were very prompt, courteous and professional while performing the cleaning.

Cleaned dryer vent and inside dryer. Placed new connector between dryer and vent. Did the work quickly and thoroughly. Very courteous. Only one minor complaint. Provider did not inform me that I could only pay for services with cash or check until after said services were performed. My wife had the checkbook out of the house with her. Fortunately, I had enough cash on hand to take care of the costs.
