Wonderful experience! We obtained several quotes before going with re-side, and were impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of owner, David Mills. In fact, we received a quote for a little less than what re-side quoted, but liked David and his proposal so much that we went with him anyway. And we are so glad we did! His crew was great and worked quickly and efficiently. We decided to paint the house ourselves to save a little money and the crew was helpful with tips and suggestions for painting as well. If we ever need siding services again, we will be calling David. Certainly, we will be recommending him to anyone who is interested in having their siding replaced!

From the initial contact with the project manager, Matt, to working thru some unforeseen challenges with Dave, the Owner, to the cleanliness, speediness and overall professionalism of the crews performing the work, the entire process was a joy! Matt visited the job site multiple times a day when the crews were here working and stayed on top of every detail, of which I certainly had my opinions as how I wanted things done! HA! The quality of work is one thing, but their attention to the little things is what I am sure separates Re-Side from its competitors. The location of the dumpster, and use of wood blocking to keep from damaging my driveway...the cleanliness of the jobsite during and after each trades install (they left my yard cleaner than before they showed up)...the communication and follow thru! What can I say...if I could give them A+'s in every category, I would! Made parting with $10k almost easy! Thanks guys! Sean

From the initial proposal through the finished job, Matt Bredess and his Re-Side crews were the epitome of professionalism. My wife and I had no idea what the job would entail when we decided to get the house re-sided, but from start to finish the entire experience was positive. Matt explained everything to us in detail and kept to the promised timeline and budget. The house looks beautiful! Neighbors walking by have stopped by to tell us how beautiful the house looks. Even when faced with the usual bumps working with a 64-year-old house, Matt and his crews never missed a beat. We would recommend Re-Side to anyone who would like to deal with honest, up-front, and easy-going people who do outstanding work.

This is with out a doubt one of the best experiences I've ever had with any contractor. From my first call to the final payment I was happy throughout the entire process. Salesman Matt Biedess came to meet me the day after my phone call and we discussed the job, the cost, the clean up, time frame etc. Matt is extremely experienced and a plessure to deal with. He answered all my questions even after I repeated many of them. Matt did some measurements and I was provided with an estimate quite quickly. During the actual construction start up Matt was present to make sure the crew new what was going on and Matt even texted me several pics of my house throughout the day (I was at work) in different phases of construction. My old siding was torn down and completely replaced in one day (approx 700 sq feet) At this point owner David Mills and Matt came by to discuss how things were going to this point and talk about the painting portion. Due to rain the new siding and rest of my house was not painted for about another week but once the weather cleared it only took about a day and a half for the crew to complete the painting portion of the project. Matt came by several times throughout this project to check on the crew and make sure things were going as I had hoped. When the entire project was completed Matt and I walked the perimeter of the home and we found a few things that needed some small touch ups, Matt personaly came by the next day and took care of ALL issues very quickly. Owner David Mills and Specialist Matt Biedess are what we ALL look for in a contractor, fair pricing, honesty, and just all around great people. All in all, it went very well. As may and June were rather rainy months in Central Indiana, the weather didn't exactly cooperate with our home project. Despite the rain, the house was resided, gutter were replaced, the the house was repainted. We had to work with the weather, but Matt B. was great in keeping us informed, and tried his very best to meet our timeline. We had the same job quoted by Lowes in Carmel, and the price was $9000 over the Re-side quotation. The house looks great!

Matt Biedess came out to do an estimate for the services outlined above. He is very passionate and seemed genuinely excited to be working with us. Even before we signed with ReSide he gave us good ideas on some colors for the house and different styles of siding to use to make the house more interesting. He was also very flexible and was willing to communicate with us over text message as well as phone. When we had narrowed our potential service providers down to two Matt worked hard with us to get the lowest price even suggesting we purchase the doors ourselves and have them install the doors to bring down the price. Ultimately we signed with ReSide to have the work done, not necessarily for price but because we felt more comfortable and confident with them doing such a major job. The work was done in stages on different days by different crews starting with siding and doors, then gutters, and finally painting. Each stage of the work was completed in either one day or two. During the process they found that some areas had multiple layers of siding and that some of our trim work was done incorrectly. Even though they could have, they did not charge us for the extra work which could have cost us over $1k. The house now looks great! We love it and we are very confident that the work was done right. We were especially impressed with Matt. It is very refreshing to work with someone in a customer service related field that is passionate about his work and committed to a good customer experience. Matt was very honest at every stage of the process and answered many texts for me on several occasions. In addition, Matt painted the inside of our doors ourselves in addition to a wall around a door that was moved and reframed. Matt also gave us many painting tips and advice about home repairs. I don't think we would have gotten this type of service with any other company. There are a couple suggestions we have for ReSide going forward. One would be that Matt can be a little disorganized and you have to be on him to schedule work and fix some of the minor issues. The second would be to just communicate more with your customers. Most of your customers have never had work like this done and a little more reassurance and managing of expectations would have made this a flawless experience. We have already had many compliments on our house and have recommended this company to a number of people. I would not hesitate to contact this company in the future for any major reconstruction projects. Thanks again!

The experience was exceptional.David Mills owner of Re- side and his team crew were professional, prompt and all worked dilligently as a team. The lead contractor onsite, Remy made sure that I was completely satisfied and if felt something was not right he corrected the the problem immediately. Remys' professionalism and workmanship was superb. There were issues during the job that were not visual during the intial inspection and estimate but had been expected due to the damage we already had with the siding. David Mills told me what needed to be done and gave me the amount needed to fix the problem on the spot. This was great because I did not have to wait and have the job already in progress held up. David explained the materials that would be needed and that Remy and his crew would take care of it.. I did not have to worry about anything and I knew this from my first impression upon meeting David Mills that he cared about his customers and that he was passionate about the product he sold. During the installation I mention the unforseen but expected issues which involved our garage and that the ceiling joices at the ends which attached to the wall had rotted, this led us to go ahead and get a new roof for the garage and house, again I did not have to wait around for a price David immediately measured for both stuctures and the price was delivered to me the next morning by David Mills. I also want to add that his estimate of material was spot on there was not of over estimation on materials because I saw exactly what was left over when the job was completed which was hardly anything. I have expressed my personal and utmost beyond satisfaction to David Mills and Remy and his crew and would like to again thank them for a superb job well done, and give my personal reccomendation to anyone who hires Re- Side inc. for there next siding or roofing project, I know I will definitely contine to rave and reccomend their services. Added 04/17/15 For almost 2 years I have been pleading with David Mills to resolve a gutter that was hung incorrectly on my garage. Initially the previous gutter fell down from the ice storm in 2014 and I had to wait until the end of the year to get this issue resolved. I was told several times they were busy or the gutter guy was not on my side of town and several more excuses given throughout 2014-15. I have already paid them and this should be resolved apparently he does not care in retaining me as a custumer for future busines and referrals, which I will not be and will not give him a good referral. I spent 24,400 on my repairs and expect david mills owner of reside inc. to resolve these issues so i can move on.

I can not say enough nice things about this service provider. I contacted David Mills in late March for an estimate. He walked the entire home and carefully evaluated our needs and wants. Our estimate was extremely reasonable for the work that was to be completed. He took the time to explain all that would be done,along with pictures that hightlighted the trim boards that needed to be replaced and he explained why it was necessary, as well as provided valuable insight on the products he would be using. He worked around our schedule for the start of the work. His crews, were very careful of plants, they cleaned up after themselves each day, and made sure that we were happy with their work. They seemed to take pride in their skills and work. David kept on top of all the work and communicated with us when each stage was completed, making sure we were happy with the work as it progressed. We are very pleased with the completed results, and would hire this provider again when needed. David Mills manages a very organized and well run company.

David Miles, the owner, was on top of all aspects of the project from the initial estimate through completion with excellent communication throughout. It was really a pleasure to work with him. The siding was replaced in a little over one day, including the many trim boards. The supervisor, Remy, plus David, were helpful at addressing questions and problems in a timely fashion and even coming up with good suggestions on enhancements to the trim board pattern. The siding crew was very efficient and professional. As for the painting, we were told to expect some scheduling delays due to the rains but we were pleased when an unexpected opening came up about 2 weeks after the siding and David slotted us in. The painting crew like the siding crew did an excellent job in a little over one day. Finally some mortar work was needed between the stone siding on the first floor and the new band boards of the second floor siding trim. David subcontracted that out and included it in the original price estimate.

I called David to discuss having my home resided with hardy plank siding. An appointment was setup and David, the owner, arrived as scheduled. He walked around the house, took pictures, and I discussed with him what I wanted done. After spending quite a bit of time with me he said he would put a quote together and then schedule a time to sit down and review the quote. He returned a few weeks later to review the quote which was very detailed, and the price was very reasonable. I had other quotes but David's seemed to be the most thorough and was very competitively priced. After deciding to go with Re-side I scheduled a time I wanted the work done. David and his team showed up at the scheduled time and the work was completed in less than 2 days. The workman were polite and the team leader answered all my questions as the work was being done. The quality of the work was excellent and I could not be happier with the final results. I would highly recommend David if you are looking to have Hardy plank siding installed. They know what they are doing and are specifically trained on Hardy Plank Installation. Thanks David for a job well done.

The person who came out was very prompt, courteous and willing to tailor the estimate on what I want. I would consider using them in the future.

Matt with re-side came to our home to give us an estimate on Hardy Board siding. He took all the meaurements and was very nice and gave us some good suggestions, but it took him 2.5 weeks to get back with us. He finally sent me an email and it was not a detailed estimate at that. He was on vacation and it took him longer to get back. A message stating that fact work have been nice. We did not choice re-side to get the job done

I selected Re Side after easing reviews on Angies List. I have a lot of plants and was very concerned that any contractor would damage my plants. After reading what an excellent job they do and how careful they are, we called David Mills. He was responsive and came out to give us an estimate. We felt comfortable that David Mills company was the right one. They had to order the color of siding we wanted but worked to get a good price and scheduled the job quickly once it came in.. The crew was efficient and were able to side the house and paint most of it in one day. I was very impressed with how efficient they were and how careful with everything. My plants, trees and shrubs were in great shape when they left. I would definitely hire them again.

I recieved a call from the company and discussed some finishing questions and they stated they would be out on Wednesday. I never got an estimate and it was over 6 weeks ago

We contacted Dave Mills thinking we weren't going to be able to re-side our house since our first estimates were so high. Dave gave us a great price and his crew did amazing work! They were done with our siding in three days (counting a day it rained) and our house is the talk of the neighborhood. It's so quiet inside our house now, and we have to turn the heat down because our house is so much more efficient. Every step of the way, Dave and his crew were extremely professional and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend them for your painting and residing needs. They are even coming back to re-paint some things even though the issues aren't their fault and are due to our old wood around some expensive to replace windows. I cannot capture how impressed my wife and I were with all they did for us. We will definitely contact them again for window/door replacements.

I was very impressed with David and his team from start to finish. David spent quite a bit of time discussing my concerns and needs, offering suggestions. David was very knowlegable and made suggestions that saved us money. David provided a very thorough estimate including pictures. David went above and beyond and worked with James Hardie directly to help me get the necessary materials for a warranty claim. We were very satisfied with the job that was done. We would highly recommend David and his team should you need siding repairs or replacement.

David and his team were very professional. We are picky home owners. Their attention to detail and cleanliness were exceptional. We noticed an immediate difference on the interior of the home as to how well the house was sealed up on the exterior. The house looks beautiful. We would highly recommend Re-Side to anyone for siding work.

Our house was built in 1987 and still had the original T 111 siding on it. Several of the boards were rotting through (as they do after years even with upkeep). We had 2 years previously spent around $5000 to have several boards replaced as well as have our whole house painted. Here we were two years later facing the exact same issue with new boards and it quickly became apparent that this was going to be a process that repeated itself every few years. I did my Angie's list search and David Mills / Re-Side floated quickly to the top of the list. I had someone out to quote on replacing the boards, replacing the siding with vinyl, and then Dave for the fiber cement solution. Dave by far instilled the most confidence and was the most knowledgeable from not only a sales perspective but targeted dates and time frames accurately. We actually had the work start earlier than it was originally supposed to. The process from start to finish was absolutely painless. If you've never had siding re-done it's not a clean/simple process. There's lots of logistics to ensure weather doesn't affect it and everything actually gets done. I can't say enough about how smoothly the process went. The crews were courteous, competent, and quick. I was blown away at how fast they did the job at such high quality. After work was complete I had some time to inspect everything closely prior to Dave's final walk-around. During that walk-around there was a small crew there that took care of everything I brought up prior to me signing the final check. Again - can't say enough. Dave / Re-Side = top notch. UPDATE 4/2013 There was a substantial hail storm in the second week of April 2013. ALL of our surrounding neighbors incurred significant damage to their homes from marble to golf-ball size hail. There was absolutely NO damage to any of our siding. Just affirmed our decision to purchase this solution.

I first became of aware of Re-Side when they re-sided a house on my street. I was very impressed by the quality of the work and the way in which that job was conducted. After the completion of my job of re-siding, window replacement and painting, I still am impressed by the professionalism of David Mills and the workmanship of his crews. David and his crew supervisors were always there to address any questions that I had. The workers were courteous, hard working and meticulous. I was amazed at the care and craftsmanship that the siding workers demonstrated when installing the siding and finishing trim around lights and utility boxes. I learned that fiber cement siding has very strict installation instructions so that the warranty will be honored. David?s crews are trained on these and adhered to them. I also was impressed and thankful that they take the time to address ?under the removed siding issues? and not cover them up with the new siding. (Example: rotted particle board under old chimney cedar siding). The contractor who replaced the windows also is incredibly talented and does a high quality job. When he came to measure my windows and I had questions about the installation of the new windows, he worked with David and me to complete the project as I had envisioned. The final product looks awesome and the benefits that I am seeing with the new siding and windows are incredible. Re-Side definitely delivers quality products, James Hardie fiber cement boards and Sunrise windows. I would highly recommend Re-Side for the quality care and work that their service provides.

This job took an extrodianarily long period of time to complete. The accepted quote was late May and the job was completed today (July 11). This was a small job. Of course I got to listen to the usual "reasons" that it took so long...."the material took longer than we expected to arrive," (don't start a job or give a time estimate if you have not checked with your suppier to see when materials will arrive; "we were not sure if you have the right color paint" (then call and double check with me or take a paint chip to do a color match). The second negative; is that I was the one persuing them to finish the job. I had to send emails and follow-ups to move this project to its conclusion. I don't like be the one required to take my time to and remind the "professional" servicemen to get a job done. Last, I was told the "company's owner" doing my final painting. This person, weather he owns the company or not, did not replace the hose he had to remove and left it on the dry grass. This does not show a lot of attention to detail to me, but someone who wanted to quickly finish the job so they could get final payment. I perfer to leave positive reviews but this experience was not positive.

He had included the cost of the paints in the service.

For the most part it was positive: once the bill was paid there were a few things that needed tweaking that they didn't bother about.
