The ladies showed up in a timely fashion after we called and fixed the problem. We would definitely call them again if needed.

They showed up, did the work, and handed me a DVD. I had a sewer repairman come to take a look at the DVD for an estimate and the screen was black. I called Tammy back and she said the camera had broken soon after so she let me know when she expected it to be fixed. We scheduled an appointment for then, when it wasn't fixed, she called and rescheduled. Once it was fixed, she came and did the work again without any additional charges. On time, courteous, no complaints or veiled comments about carrying the equipment to the basement as several of the other service providers have, and very reasonable.

Called R & S in the morning when I noted the flush was only partial and not full volume of water, etc. They came out that same afternoon, maybe 4 hours later, and fixed it so it was restored to normal. They are prompt, courteous, and know what they are doing. I wouldn't want to call anyone else for this type of problem with any plumbing and sewer related issues.

One of our toilets was flushing poorly and would not repond to the plunger. I called a plumber, who arrived on time but quickly diagnosed the problem as a blockage in the "main line" and would not peform the repair. The plumber did suggest a sewer repair service (who did not answer their phone). I then remembered that we had used R&S Sewer repair a number of years ago, and confirmed their contact information on Angie's list. I called R&S and within 90 minutes a repairman (Dusty) arrived. Within 10 minutes Dusty diagnosed the problem and explained the needed repair and its cost, and asked for my permission to proceed with the repair. Within 30 minutes the repair was complete. Excellent response time, a fair price, and couteous service from Dusty and R&S Sewer Service. We am very pleased with this service provider.

retThe Kitchen disposal stopped up when I tried to run expired rice and other food items through it. I guess the kicker was the expired dry milk (2009). My son ran a 25ft snake through it but it wasn't enough. I did the angie search think and found some a rated providers near by - one I called wanted $150 after I described the above. I know you learn best the mistakes you pay for, but I thought that was a little pricey. Called a good friend who was an HVAC firm and he recommended this firm for all of his work. Although they were on the south side of town, they wanted to do the work. Turned out it is owned by two women, and one of them made the call here late in the day. She ran a powered augur snake down the drain a total of 75 feet and did it twice. and, surprises of all, no butt crack either! Her helper was very polite and she cleaned up after words, even if some of it was my mess from the Sunday night before. They were very careful about coming and going. Took surprisingly few cell phone calls while working, which, you have to admit, a rarity these days. And best of all, they were polite, prompt, and proficient. I will be sure to refer them to others who need plumbing services. Let's face it, the older we get the less we want to do and there is a crying need for services for the baby boomers rapidly entering retirement (10,000 a day, I read somewhere?). And, not many of us have sons close enough to come over and help out.

Dusty the technician knew his business. He did a great job and cleared the clog. He did run late but called to let me know he was on his way and apologized. Overall I am quite pleased with the service for the price. I would use R & S again!

The gentleman (Dusty) came out the same day. He "cleaned out" the sewer; but was concerned that the incomplete blockage might not have been the real problem. So we "stress tested" the sewer by turning on all the water faucets in the house. Sure enough, after about ten minutes we saw leaking at the point that the sewer exits the basement. At that point I insisted on a video, so that I could find out the problem. Tammy came out in a separate truck and videod. We discovered that there actually was a very slow stream of water coming into the sewer pipe from outside (groundwater?). Tammy thought that this might have been something going on for years; but that the leaking inside may just have started simply because the caulking around the point where the sewer exits the house had deteriorated (after 55 years). Anyway, Tammy stated that R&S didn't make the kind of repairs I might need. But she recommended Blue Plumbing. I called Blue Plumbing the next day.........only to find out that Tammy called them in advance and told them I might be calling. She also described my problem to them. They recommend a simple possible fix that Icould do myself. Awesome!

Everything went smoothly and efficiently.

I had a clog in my main line and I knew there was a clog because it has happened before at least a couple of times in the 15 years I have lived in this home. I called another service, who I won't name, because they had a deal where they would come out for $49 and a free camera inspection was included. After they finished, they told my roommate that they needed to replace my sewer from the porch to the main, I needed a "proper" 6" cleanout because the one I had was not. They would bed the line with #8 stone and there would be a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. All this work that was "needed" to be done because I had a "serious" issue would only cost $7,500. Who in this economy has an extra $7500 burning up in their pocket!? I told my roommate to tell them no thanks. After they completed the cleaning out of the clog, later that evening, I still had the same problem and so I called them back to come out to look at it again and this time I was home to talk with them. They proceeded to tell me the same story and how serious the issue was and how much I needed to get this done. I showed them where I thought my line was and asked how far out did they go. They only went a certain amount of feet so I knew immediately that was why I still had an issue. After a little more talk, I thanked them and sent them on their way. I checked Angie's List, which is where I should have started in the beginning, and found R & S Sewer Cleaning Inc. I called and they said they could have someone out that same day. Mike came out and did exactly what he said he would do and went out further in the line. He took time to make sure that the line was clear and even went the extra mile. When I shared with him where I thought my lateral was, he checked and then contacted someone to get verification of exactly where he thought my lateral should be. When he could not get the information to me that day, he said he would make sure to get the information to me as soon as he could. He called me back about a week later and told me where my lateral was and when I asked, sent me the information in the mail, which I received 3 days after our conversation. I got more than my money's worth from just this one visit! Oh, and during his visit out, he informed me that I did not in fact have a serious issue or need all the work the other service claimed I needed. The end results from all of this is my sewer line is clear and everything works great, I got information that I did not know previously, and I found another great business that is out there doing quality work instead of trying to rip-off consumers. The big-picture approach, do good work, people will find out about it, you get more business, you make more money. Such a simple concept yet so difficult for some businesses to grasp. This business gets it!

We contacted R&S on 1-11-2013 to have our sewer cleaned. They advised us that they would come in the early afternoon that same day, and would phone when they were on their way. We waited until approximately 4:00 p.m. and did not receive a call. We phoned them and they advised that they had been very busy and therefore did not call. They said that they could still do the work that day or the next. We advised that as we hadn't heard from them, we would contact another company to do the work. They apologized. As we had not used this company before, we felt that not keeping a promise to call might be an indication of their overall way of doing business. Lee Dolen

I called one plumber (recommended by a friend) who said he broke his machine the night before when I told him my drain was plugged. He referred me to R & S Sewer Cleaning. They called me about 10:00 AM to get details, and quoted a price of $98.00. I was told that they should be able to get here sometime in the afternoon. They called about 3:10 PM to tell me they were on the way, and arrived between 3:30, and 4:00. The drain cleaning took less than an hour, I paid the bill ($98.00), and they were on their way. The plumbing techs that cleared my drain are very professional, and friendly. This was, for me, a very happy experience. I highly recommend R & S Sewer Cleaning.

It was timely, the man was friendly, the price was very reasonable and it was taken care of quickly.

They arrived when they said they would. They were careful transporting their equipment in and out of my home. They answered all my questions. When they were done they had me turn on the water from kitchen to verify entire line was clean. They explained how I can simply maintain my drains. I would use them again. Plus, they don't charge extra for weekend service.

R & S was responsive to my client's needs. I will entrust them to my personal and business needs.

This is the second time that we have used R&S for routine sewer maintenance. They are always pleasant to work with, punctual, and professional. Time frame was given. Crew called about 40 minutes before the end of that window because they were stuck in traffic (there was a major traffic jam on the interstate). Although they actually made it to our home within the initial time frame, I appreciated that they called to say that they might be late due to circumstances beyond their control. They did the job quickly and did the job well.

They were responsive, professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.

They came quickly and it was on a Sunday. The pricing was reasonable. They are family owned. It was a man and his son that came out.

They not only unclogged our drain but told us how to avoid the problem in the future and cleaned up the mess caused by unclogging the drain. We were told that someone from the company would come between 1: 00 and 3:00 and would call us in advance. When we had not heard from anyone by 2:30 we called the office. Were told that the person scheduled to come to us was running late at another job. He did come to us around 5:00 and did a great job. Only wish we had known sooner that there was going to be that much of a delay.

I had a recalcitrant clog in my kitchen drain. They came promptly were polite, competent and efficient. They accommodated my wishes and removed the clog. They cleaned up after themselves. It is hard to be happy about a clogged drain, but if I have another one, I am sure to call them.

I was very pleased with their work. They were very honest, and helpful.

Service was pretty awful as it turned out. They initially seemed great. Very good at working with us to get into the house via lock box in a timely manner. That is about where the good ended. I received a very short phone message saying the drain looked ok. I never received a written report. I never received the DVD I paid for. When I tried to get an explanation there was nothing other than an apology. No offer of refund, no DVD, no report was ever offered. Maybe this is an isolated incident but I give this company an F and wish I'd never given them my business.
