PRITT ELECTRIC

Tom came out around 830PM. Super nice guy, changed the main, and had to send his apprentice to the shop for the right part. Got it all done quickly, as we had no heat! Made it happen without delay and my husband and I both about fell over when he gave us the bill. We were expecting at least double what we paid! We will most certainly be using them in the future!

Put up new Meter pole due to storm, which had knocked it to the ground. Elec was turned off and I needed this done NOW. Angies list gave me several names and the 1st one I called said "good luck finding someone tonite. Start going through the yellow pages". Pritt was the 2nd one and they sent someone right out. I had to pay whatever they asked due to it being an emergancy. I guess the price was in line with what electrical people charge. He did a great job, quickly and was nice to deal with.

Javier was the technician involved in our service. To be fair, I do not know if it was the complex nature of our problem or the seemingly high volume of customers using the firm, but after an initial visit (which was completed in a timely and professional fashion) and an explanation of what needed to be done, I did not hear from the company for over a week. I contacted them to get an update and how long it would take to fix our lighting and outlets. I left three different messages for our technician with the office; not one was returned. I was finally informed, on my fourth call, that our technician was in a remote area and could not be reached, but that Mr. Pritt, the owner of the firm, would contact me. He never did. After about 10 days I finally received a return phone call from our technician; we then scheduled a time for him to come back and complete the work, which he did in a punctual and professional fashion. However, he did have to return once more to replace a socket in a light in our breakfast nook that, in my opinion, he should have evaluated and repaired properly the first time. The work was completed with high quality and our technician was professional; pricing seemed reasonable. However, the communication with him and their office was poor and the work seemed to take much longer to be completed than it should have. I would not reccomend this firm if you have a problem you need fixed quickly.

Went very well! Tom introduced himself and asked which light fixtures were to be replaced. I showed him the fixtures I purchased and the fixture locations to be replaced. I asked if I could observe as he worked and that was welcomed by him. I asked a few questions while he worked because I had considered doing the replacement by myself. I must confess, I'm so glad I didn't tackle the job on my own, I would have been frustrated by the problems detected but they were easily solved by Tom. The issues were two of the lighting fixtures were not properly aligned and Tom was able to properly mount the fixtures. Each fixture was tested and settings modified to my request, Tom showed me how to modify the setting if I wanted to change them. The appointment started at 9:15 and ended at 11:30. I appreciated his knowledge and skill and very good customer service!

. The electrician they sent here is very familiar with old houses. He is efficient, too. He came out twice to do the work(April or May and then later in the summer). Some of the wiring looked tricky to me. I may have the dates wrong. There was a problem with the light sensor on the porch light, and he came out the next day and knew exactly what the problem was.

Tom Adams-Service Tech was on time, pleasant & friendly. He got to work right away, explained how the system works and was on his way in no time. It was a joy to come home to the "lights on"!! I would definitely use Pritt Electric in the future. Thank you for a Great Job!!

The electrician was very nice but made lots of conversation which I felt cut into my 2 hours. I thought he would recognize that and give me some extra time to compensate for it but he didn't. The ceiling fan shakes a little and he explained it was because the box was unlevel. I pressed him a bit for why he didn't level it and I didn't get a great response other than it would take more time. I would have preferred he took the time but it was clear the clock was up and he was done.

The staff was very handy and completed the task in a timely manner. Very happy with their service. Would highly recommend Pritt Electric!

Excellent service. The old vent housing was 34 years old and had to be removed. The technician arrived on time, removed the old housing and installed a new housing and fan in a minimum amount of time. He was pleasant, efficient and professional. He cleaned the area and disposed of the defective product. I would certainly utilize these folks in the future.

took down old ceiling light and found it was burnt out. looked at electric panel and said it was ok {another company said we needed a new panel because it was causing low voltage @$1300 estimate) Tom put in a temporary light until we could buy a new one. He came later and installed our new one. well done.

The job went well. They showed up on time and was able to finish the job within an hour. They also replaced the light sensor on the pole. I would use them again for other electrical jobs.

It was good. The guy was seem really friendly and did a nice job. I don't have any other electricians that we normally use so I'd probably use them again. They seem pretty pricey for the quote that they gave but probably that's all electrical.

After getting numerous estimates, Pritt was the cheapest so we chose them. Everything went great. Technician was punctual, pleasant, and completed all the work as specified on our estimate. No issues!

Service, punctuality, and professionalism were all excellent. In particular, there was a difficult repair on some specialty lighting (architectural track lighting) that was diagnosed and successfully repaired. I should point out that our repairs were made in two visits. The first time that this company was on-site was the result of a deal that was offered by the company on Angie's list; I believe it was around $100 for a specified amount of time. At that first visit, the electrician diagnosed the problems and parts were subsequently ordered from an electrical supply company. Once the parts all came in, our Pritt electrician returned and installed all the parts. As it turned out, he was correct on all counts, and all of our electrical issues are currently resolved.

Will not use Pritt Electric in future.

Excellent. The electrician who came to our home answered all of my questions in a way I could understand.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. It wasn't a whole lot but I was happy with the service, he was excellent. I didn't have any complaints on him.

We have used Pritt Electric before, and as expected, it went very well. I called Pritt on 6/28 and arranged for installation today 7/2/13. Tom arrived a little early, did the job in a prompt and professional manner, cleaned up and explained the details of the surge protection as well as leaving the information from the box. We couldn't be happier with their knowledge, expertise and service.

We called Pritt because they were rated A on Angie's List and we found them to be very helpful and professional over the phone. Their technician was also very professional and personable. After we were quoted a price for the service by Pritt they later determined that a work permit would be required by the town of Mooresville. Pritt advised that since they had already quoted us a firm price for the work, they would absorb the cost of the permit. The overall experience was very good and we would recommend Pritt to friends and neighbors.

Chose Pritt Electric after getting two quotes. Pritt beat price of competitor with a wide enough margin that it was a no brainer. Also included in job was installing GFI's in two kitchens. Two minor issues worth mentioning. Due to age and complexity of wiring, an incorrect breaker was installed. This was due to a heavier gauge wire being used on a 110 volt outlet by a previous electrician during the original build of the house 40 plus years ago. This led Pritt electric to identify the connection as needing a 220 volt breaker. The higher voltage caused the washing machine to fail. Pritt electric made it right. They came back and repaired the washing machine, no charge, and replaced the breaker. Pritt electric stands behind their work. If you find something that is not up to code from their installation, they come back immediately and correct the issue. If you have a choice on who you want Pritt Electric to send out for your job, ask for Javier. Very personable and hard worker.

Linda who set everything up was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. The technician who came out to give the quote was knowledgeable and gave me tips on what ceiling fans to look for. We our hiring them to do the work and another review will follow.

Pritt came out, checked the wiring, and changed the switch. I was afraid he was going to tell me I need to have the bathroom re-wired. He didn't. He was great! I used my Angie's List coupon, as well. I highly recommend Pritt for their price, promptness, and professionalism.
