Took less than 26 hours from call for service to installation completion. I called Eddie when I discovered that my home wasn't cooling. He came to the house within two hours and diagnosed the problem. He gave us two alternative solutions and we chose installing a new unit. The unit was installed the following day in a very professional manner.

This provider had cleaned and maintained my furnace and air conditioner for years, and has always been very professional, prompt, clean and reasonably priced. However, I left a message on his voice mail recently asking a question about a warranty item, and his voice mail message was garbled. He never called me back, so I don't know if he ever got the message. If you use this provider, check the brand name of the furnace/air conditioner. I heard rumors that the Tappan he sold me is not very reliable, although a problem I was having with it cleared up on its own.

They are dependable, fair and honest. If they say they are going to perform work they do it and they don't try to gouge you for extra work.

He was late for the appointment to install system, and not well prepared. He was at work site for way too long. Did not finish work completely, left a gaping hole in the wall of the basement where the vent pipe left. Did not discover this until the next day. Was fortunate that we did not get mice and insects in the house as a result. Also did not clean up thoroughly around the installation site, nor in the driveway. To date, still have not received owners manual nor receipts for units installed, despite numerous phone calls and being available for him to deliver these. Has been uncooperative and has made promises he has not kept to deliver these. I need the receipt and the owner's manual for the warranty coverage. Eddie has done excellent work for me in the past. I feel that he can do excellent work for another customer, but be aware of this situation. Still pursuing a resolution 6 months later.
