Mr. Appliance of Indianapolis

Promised service to begin in a 2-hour window, called ahead to say that a previous service call was finished early. Asked if he could come a little early. I assented, so work was begun and completed ahead of schedule. Technician explained what was doing and offered advice about care and maintenance of other appliances.

We opted to get rid of the "lemon" and buy a new refrigerator. Sean gave us his number and we texted back and forth regarding the refrigerators we were looking at. He gave us his opinion of the ones that tended to hold up over time. Sean was very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely call Mr. Appliance for all future appliance repairs - although hopefully we won't need any repairs on our new refrigerator for a while! All communications with the office and the repairman were very professional and courteous.

Mr. Robinson was very good! He was on-time, and even gave me a call before Sean arrived. He took a very practical approach to everything. He advised me of everything going on with the unit. He was quick and efficient. He was very professional.

From the get go, all went smoothly. The secretary was extremely kind on the phone when I called to schedule an appt. We set it up for Tuesday morning but I rec'd a call at 2pm on Monday afternoon telling me they had an opening at 3:30. I jumped at the chance to get it done today. I got home from shopping at 3:15 and Sean was early and as charming as possible. He got right to work, was very kind and fixed the problem in a jiffy. If any of our appliances break, I'll be sure to call Mr. Appliance again and will request Sean.

Service tech Sean came out on Friday, July 19, asked what problems I was having with the dryer, was very thorough and determined it was the timing mechanism. Sean also checked the outside dryer vent to see if it needed cleaned (it didn't but gave me the name & contact info should the vent ever need serviced and suggested when it should be) and also discovered the dryer "hose" from dryer to vent was slightly kinked b/c the dryer was pushed back too far. He advised the part should be in no later than Wednesday, July 24. Mr. Appliance called on Tuesday, July 23 and scheduled the repair for Thursday, July 25. The same serviced tech, Sean, came, on time, and installed the timer quickly. He also remembered about the problem with the dryer being pushed back too far and made sure / reminded me to have the dryer further away from the wall. Sean was very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained what he was doing, what I should look out for should any other problems occur. If the other service techs w/Mr. Appliance is anything like Sean, you will be in good hands. I will definitely call them in the future for any appliance service or repairs in the future!

They were honest, saved us money, cleaned up after himself and friendly.

Our 2 year old Whirlpool Cabrio washer quit working. We set up service with Mr. Appliance. They called when they were on their way and arrived at the appropriate time. The technician determined that there were clothes under the drum. They were removed and the washer was tested and worked properly. My only issue is the price given the amount of time spent on the repair. It was $175 for about hour worth of work and that was after the Angie's List coupon. You get what you pay for and in this case I paid for a professional, competent and efficient repair so I guess I did alright.

He showed up on time, gave us advanced notice by phone of his arrival, and was wearing a uniform. He quickly diagnosed the problem (clogged ice dispenser and fridge door was not closing properly). He showed me how to fix the problem should it reoccur, and pointed to a few things in the fridge that may need an upgrade in the future. He only charged me the service call fee (69$), and even replaced the burned lightbulb in the freezer. Obviously honest and thorough which is refreshing. I have the Mr. Appliance magnet on my fridge and will use them again in a heartbeat.

They came on time and found the problem to be the outside dryer vent not the dryer. Quick and easy fix .

He was pleasant and nice. He was very honest and just a good guy.

They were extremely professional. The gentleman put on booties over his shoes and put down a rug before he came into the house. I was extremely satisfied!

Professional but too expensive.

Our office diswasher would not drain so I searched Angie's list for a recommended repair service. Mr. Appliance was highly rated so I gave them a call. They were able to schedule our repair for the next day and gave an arrival window of 1.5 hours. The technician called to say he was on his way and arrived at the start of the window given, in spite of a snowfall the night before. He diagnosed the problem quickly - an error made by a recent disposer replacement by a different company. He gave us the option to get the disposer installer back, or for him to fix it. We chose his repair and in total were billed for only 3/5 of an hour. Everyone from the appointment setter to technician to office manager was friendly, cooperative and genuine in wanting our business!

Excellent service from both technicians. They were prompt, informative and completed the task quickly.

The service rep diagnosed the problem and recommended replacing a part. We paid for the labor that would ensue after the part which needed to be ordered would arrive. It was later determined after the rep left that the part wasn't the issue, but that the dishwasher was not seated suitably keeping a sensor from working properly. The business manager contacted me, and given the circumstance, graciously allowed the diagnostic fee to be waived and returned the part to the distributor, which had arrived overnight. Overall we are extremely pleased with the outcome. It was more than fair to waive the diagnostics fee and much appreciate the manager's discretion.

They were easy to schedule and showed up on time. The tech was polite and clean. He opened the unit up and talked with GE support for several minutes. He reconnected a ribbon cable that he said was connected wrong. He said that might fix the problem but if not we would have to replace whole key pad. The code popped up again once he left. I checked the price on a new keypad and it was around $450. Momma got a new oven instead! I thought the price was a bit high for the service call. I am not sure if he charged me more than a normal service call because he reconnected the ribbon cable. It always hurts the pocket book when you have a service man come out and then you also have to buy a new appliance. I would probably shop for a cheaper service next time.

The service was completed quickly and correctly. We have not had any problems with the heating element in our dryer since the repair took place.

I got the information I needed to make the repair/replace decision. Also received from very good advice abouthow to shop for a new washer.

They came on time and follow up with me immediately. The guy who came out also gave me a thorough explanation of the problem and recommended that I just get a new machine since the repair would be very expensive.

The lady that took the call to schedule an appointment was extremely friendly and courteous. Repair was able to be scheduled same day. Technician called in advance of arriving. Prompt arrival, very courteous, provided good explanation of problem. Payment settlement was made on spot and we received an electronic receipt same day. Great to work with!

Good experience. A free estimate would be nice to allow people to shop around, but overall I am happy with service.

The repairs were completed by Sean & he provided excellent service (on time; explained problemsolving + results, advised on cost + options before proceeding) and gave helpful tips that applied to the general operation of the appliance. Repairs were completed in a timely manner & he maintained a clean and orderly workspace. Very professional as well as a pleasure to do business with. Sean previously repaired our dryer and provided the same excellent service.

Sean is very helpful and always explains things well. He fixes everything and always does a good job. He is on time and I would highly recommend him.

That's all it was, he explained sometimes the factory fails to secure each connection and with the repeated closing of the mic door, the connector finally worked its way loose. He was very polite, professional and we would use them again.

The job went beautifully. They came quickly, did a nice job and their attitude was great. I thought the price was reasonable.
