The technician, "Sean Robinson", assessed the problems. Gave an accurate estimate. Ordered the necessary parts (which were not easy to get given the age of the stove). We were called the next day, that parts were in and scheduled the installation of the new burners at our convenience. One of the burners was a specialty burner- GE Sensitemp-and we wanted it changed to a regular 8" burner. Sean, had to rewire that burner. Sean. efficiently did the work in a few hours. We were very happy with the repair. Sean, is a very polite and professional technician.
Description of Work: Through Mr. Electric, we also got their Advantage Plan. We were able to use it for our kitchen stove repair. Two burners had failed on our very old (nearly 40 years) range. Mr. Appliance, is a part of the Advantage Plan.

Mr. Appliance sent someone out within 2 days of our call (this fit into our schedule). The dryer was not working before they arrived, but when the service technician got here he tried it once - it didn't start - then tried it again and it started right up. He tried for about 15 minutes to get the dryer to fail again and it would not. He told us could just be that one of the switches had gotten stuck. Without seeing it fail, he really couldn't do anything about it; he had a couple of ideas of what it could be if it happens again but would be more involved. If it happens again, these are things he can check. It's been a few weeks now and it hasn't failed again yet. We were happy with the service and the professionalism of the technician.

have a 15 yo Jenn Air cook top apparently made by a committee. The downdraft fan would not shut off. I thought it was the fan relay told Melissa so.. When the repairman came of course that is the direction he looked. We ordered a relay and the wrong part was sent. We ordered the correct relay and it was sent but did not solve problem. My repairman studied it at length and decided to call the Whirlpool support line for help. They told him it was the fan switch. We were both skeptical but went ahead. Many of the replacement parts are made "functional equivalent" but do not fit the appliance sitting in your house, such was the case with this part. When he came back the forth time, he found that the new fan switch was literally putting a square peg in a round hole. He modified the switch so that it would fit. However, after doing all that the problem still was not solved. I have to say this repairman had incredible self control and was very polite. He apologized many times and I could see his frustration. He asked another service man to take a look. This gentleman did figure the problem out. My appliance does not seem to fix together correctly. That is probably why the failure in the first place. Throughout the six visits, the repairman were punctual, courteous respectful of my property. This was an odd situation so I don't fault Mr Appliance for the confusion of the problem. I paid with the first visit and was not charged for repeat visits or parts. Melissa was very kind. Parts ordered came quickly (usually the next week) and serviceman were on time. The technician was prompt, professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave me an estimate and then set to work and had the problem resolved in about one half hour. He was respectful of my home by wearing shoe covers and using pads under his tool bag. The refrigerator is working great now,

He spent about 20-25 minutes waiting due to the home warranty. I was charged for the hold time while he waited for the home warranty go ahead. Overall though the experience went very well. He was very professional and knowledgable. He was very clean and curteous the whole time.

I had an appointment in the afternoon, which worked perfectly for me. He called in the morning, as I was walking out the door and said it would be here in 10 minutes, which didn’t work well for me. I advised him that my mother and daughter were both home, but unfamiliar with the issue. He came over and looked at the appliance, and didn’t see anything wrong, so he left. My mother and daughter didn’t have knowledge of the problem, and if he had arrived at our schedule time I could have told him what was going on with the dishwasher. This was very frustrating experience.

They did fine. He was really nice, he was cool.
Description of Work: I won a bosh washer and dryer. I have to run the dryer like 3 times to dry my clothes. He thought it was the breaker so I had that replaced and it’s not it so I have to have him come back and take another look at it.

The work was great. They diagnosed the problem and were able to fix it. I felt that the workman was professional and he knew was he was doing. I didn’t feel at all intimated with him coming into our come. Overall it was just a very positive experience.
Description of Work: We had a stove that was malfunctioning. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the heating element and were able to fix the problem. The stove was not heating correctly and when you turned it off it stayed on, but they were able to fix this problem.

The work turned out great. They were excellent. They put covers on their shoes to keep my house clean. They were pretty knowledgeable about what they recommended. They didn’t charge me anything but the service call charge. I would definitely use them again.

It turned out fine. They were very fair. They tried to fix the dryer and were unable to fix it. He ended up not charging us because he had misdiagnosed it at first and realized it would be expensive to fix.
Description of Work: They came out to look at a dryer that I thought might have been damaged in a move. He tried to fix the dryer and he was unable to fix it and we had to buy a new dryer.

They did a great job. It was a Bosh dishwasher. They couldn’t figure out exactly what was wrong to begin with. Instead of tearing it apart trying to figure out what was wrong, taking all kinds of time; they called the Bosh manufacturers to see what the problem was and were able to fix it pretty quick. They were very courteous, professional, and very careful about not tracking in dirt into the house.

Side by side refrigerator stopped working. After reading about them on Angie's list, I sent an email to this company early evening to set up a return call for a service date and time. At about 8:30am the very next morning I recieved a call and was told someone could come betwen 10a and 12n. That was great news! At about 9:15a I recieved a call from Sean who said he would be at my home in about 45mins. He arrived at the time he said he would, was very quick to discover the problem. He had the needed part in his van. Within about 30 minutes it was running like new. Sean was very professional, answered any questions that I had, and a very nice person. I could not get the $25 off coupon to print and told Sean this and he applied the dicount to my services anyway. The part itself was expensive, but less than buying a new refrigerator and this one is only 5 yrs old. I would gladly call this company again if needed and have told others about them as well.

I called Mr. Appliance, Melissa was very professional and friendly answering the phone & answered all my questions. I liked their policy of not applying a fee for coming out (45$?) if you actually have the service repaired. The service person, Sean, was on time and very professional. It took about two minutes for him to find the problem and about 15-20 minutes to fix it. We even got a free oven mitt. Overall, it was a bit pricey, but it was worth it. I'm sure it cost more to come out than to replace the knob, we will call them again if needed.
Description of Work: Our dryer needed a new start knob and the starter housing reinstalled due to a self-proclaimed mr. fix-it mucking it up.

I know they charge quite a bit but I haven?t had any problems with them. They are pretty prompt about coming out when they say when they will be out. They seemed congenial and I think they knew what they were talking about. The normal wash wouldn?t work but it would work when he put it on heavy wash. They didn't do any work this last time; they just turned a knob. Last time they had to unclog my washer and that cost quite a bit. They were very responsive and they seemed to know what they were doing. I'll probably call them again if I need something else because they did a pretty good job.
