I hired M&T for my new home inspection. His results were very detailed and very clear. He discovered the cement siding was not installed properly about 1 1/2 years ago on this new home which allowed me to ask the buyer to replace all of it. They did replace without any problems but if there was M&T was willing to help me explain why it needed to be changed to the buyer. Great job! I would use them again.

Overall- the home was in good shape. The biggest concern was aluminum wiring. Troy took the time to explain it, the potential problems, methods of remediation, and gross estimate of the costs to mitigate. He even sent a PDF on recommended repair methods, as well as methods that have failed and actually increase the danger. This will be useful as I search for contractors to address the concern. He was not an alarmist, was very down to earth, patient with my questions (I'm a bit like Curious George and wanted to educate myself) and approachable. Further, he had the report turned around in 24 hours and considering it was over the Independence Day holiday- was rather impressive. I would recommend him to family and friends in an instant.

Inspector was thorough and professional. He gave many observations and maintenance tips beyond what was expected. Very quick turnaround on the written report. Builder was impressed with the format and content of the report. He helped find several issues that I would not have found prior to closing on the new house.

Troy was unable to address the problem, but he did everything he could to help me find the person I needed. He went above and beyond, Troy went online and looked up plumbers that would be able to help me with my problem. He was knowledgeable about a way to save me from having to dig up the concrete slab in my living room and telling me about newer technology, trenchless pipe lining, he then named me a couple of plumbers who had that more expensive and new technology. I was so impressed with the detail and attention he gave me, that if I ever need a home inspector I would use Troy.

I called around to a few inspection service companies. For the same services, Troy's pricing was better, and over the phone, during the initial verbal estimate, it was nice to talk with the person doing the work. When asking about the tasks to be performed, Troy's knowledge of the trade and his professionalism shown through. Troy was great to work with. He arrived early at the property and was already working when we got there. I told Troy I was interested in seeing some items (attic, crawlspace, etc), so he made sure to show them to to me before he closed them back up.

I do real estate investments and Troy who works for M & T Inspection Services, always inspect the houses before we purchase them. Then we fix them up and they inspect them after we are done, so this was a post completion inspection after we renovated the home. Troy is great. I have been working with him for a couple of years and I highly recommend him. He is just honest. He is not rushed and he gets the job done. He is an important person in my business because he protects us from losing money or making a purchase on a home that we shouldn't be buying. The price is good.

Emailed Mr. Hicks to inquire about home inspection. Quick response. Set an appointment time. He was there before I was and he was ready to go as soon as I arrived. He was thorough and prompt.

Troy returned my call within a day and we schedule the appointment the following week. He was prompt and professional and knew all the in's and out's of what to look for and point out. After the inspection he sat down with us and went over the whole report and findings of things that would need to be addressed. He emailed the finalized report within 2 days including pictures that he had taken while doing the inspection. Was very pleased with his service and would highly recommend to anyone needing this service in the future.

Troy's wife called me to let me know they had been out of town and that Troy would call me back soon to schedule. She was very professional and apologized for not getting back to me sooner (it wasn't even 24 hours!). Unfortunately, my realtor had already scheduled another company to come out. Had time not been an issue, I would have definitely worked with M&T. When I need an inspection in the future, I will definitely give them a call!

MR. HICKS DID AN EXCELLANT JOB OF INSPECTING A HOUSE I AM THINKING AB OUT BUYING.HE ARRIVED AT THE APPOINTED TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. HE EXPLAINED EVER THING THAT HE WAS DOING AND WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD SO THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE TOOK MANY PHOTOGRAPHS OF WHAT HE WAS INSPECTING AND SHOWED THEM TO ME SO ICOULD SEE WHATHE WAS CHECKING. HE CHECKED EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY IN THE HOUSE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR. HICKS TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A HOUSE INSPECTION.

Excellent experience. they was thorough through the whole process. He explained all he was doing and educated us on how to core for a home. His 30 page detailed report was professionally done. He knows his staff and is great with customers.

Troy was superb! He obviously knows his stuff and he pointed out some of the nit-picky things that a buyer's inspector might bring up. He gave excellent advise on how to handle those issues and he also made it clear what areas should be my priorities. Everything he found was a "pre-existing" condition that my previous inspector did not catch when I purchased the home three years ago! He was worth every penny and I would recommend that every seller have him pre-inspect their home and every buyer use him for a potential property!

Troy was fantastic. Very thorough, professional and educational to my wife and I. We don't know alot about the ins and outs of house maintenance, so he took the time to go over every detail of his inspection with us. He answered every question with patience and knowledge. He even set us up with a fantastic company to put in a radon detection system and a person to come out and check for termite damage. We ended up buying the house and we love it! We couldn't have done it without Troy!
