Kapp's Green Lawn The Lawn Specialists

Plugs were maybe 1/2 inch long. They should be 2-3 inches. They left a bill for approx. $137.00 Offered to do it again. I said "No thanks". We have been with Kapp's for many years. To leave a bill for services improperly performed shows me how much nerve they have and how stupid they think people must be. Time for a change.

They answered all of my questions, and gave me some good advice. I liked what they said, so I hired them.

We moved into our new house about a year ago and our brother in law recommended Kapps. We called and set up our treatment plan. We felt the price was really reasonable and we liked how the employees would come out automatically and fertilize, then just leave us the bill. Towards the beginning of June 2010 we started seeing lots of crab grass and lilacs come up and were starting to get unhappy with the overall condition of the lawn. We were concerned and called Kapps to come out and look at it. When someone came out they said that the issue couldn't be "hit hard" until fall since the harsh sun would hurt the grass when chemicals were put on. Totally understandable, because we did not want brown, dead grass when our entire block had beautiful green grass! Unfortunately, brown, dead grass is exactly what we got!! Our front lawn has continuously gone down hill since the end of spring and it is so frustrating! The front 2/3 of our lawn is composed of totally dead grass with a spinkle of large mounds of crab grass around the edges. I compared the pictures from last summer when we did not even use a lawn service company and the differences are undeniable. After 2 or 3 calls to complain my husband finally decided the throw in the towel. He called last week to say that we wanted to cancel our service and the employee that picked up the phone said "ok!" There was no, "Why are you unhappy?" or "How can we help to make this better?". I wanted Kapps to work out, but obviously from the pictures you can tell that it didnt. Maybe if they strengthened their communication with the customer we would be a little more understanding.

They do an excellent job and I will continue to use them.

They are still doing a great job keeping my weeds away..

I have never had any problems with Kapps you can customize your treatment schedule to what you see fit and or can afford I get a treatment 4 times a year and I'm super happey with it they offer much more then I use but I have not yet tried out their expanded services but I may soon. I have tryed several other lawn services and like kapps the best so far hope they keep the Good work up.

Why did they perform a service without my permission? I called them to ask why they had done this and they stated that it is standard practice for lawn services to provide "this convenience" to their customers, assuming rollover patronage. They sent me a flyer with a dominant call to action stating that I may save a percentage on the total season's lawn treatments for prepaying. A secondary very understated message that I completely missed, but seemingly more important, stated that they would start treating my lawn unless I contacted them to stop service. Since I did not request service, they should not have assumed that they should continuing without confirmation. I pointed out that this was not a convenience for me and that I did not approve the service. Their claim to have received "confirmation" for continued services on my property, since I had not told them to stop a service that I did not request, is complete bunk. It may be that Kapp's has clientele that appreciate their assumed continued patronage but I doubt that everyone does, especially in today's economy. They refused to waive the service charge or reduce it in any way. Although this is the case, I am hopeful that they will realize that their policy is illogical and possibly unlawful, and refund the charge for service that I did not request. I have no complaints with their lawn-care from the previous year. But, without a change in their year-to-year rollover service policy, I would not hire them again.

They come on their own, so, we don't have to call them or anything like that. I have never compared their price, so, I guess the price is good. Their professionalism is also good.

They are okay. The price is good. They come when called. Whenever I have questions or issues, they have someone come out the next day.

I wanted dry chemicals, and this is what they use. They keep in communication with me so I know when they are coming, but I don't have to supervise them. They give everyone a $20 referral if they refer someone. I referred my brother and got $20 off. They were very respectful of my situation with a handicapped child next door, dogs, my work schedule, and locks on my gates.

I didn't think the lawn looked as good as it did when I used our previous lawn care company.

They are very responsive. They are timely and they leave a note saying on the door saying when they are done.

We are very happy with the service. They would check if the lawn needed special treatment and they would ask before they did that work. They always show up on time to do the work.

Overall our lawn looks okay. It looked better prior to aeration, however, the equipment they used did damage some areas. I was able to repair myself. The cost of this company is so much better than others we've used that I can deal with and okay lawn.

They were very good. Their price was definitely right. They also do what they say they are going to do. I had a problem with a brown streak of grass and they came and did an extra service and fixed it. I've had them for about 8 years.

They do really well, and come even when we don't check up on them. They leave a little note to make sure we know that they have come to do their work. Their work has been very thorough and they are trustworthy. They also have no problem adding more jobs and services.

I have been using their services for the last five to six years now. They are reliable with coming every month, they do not have a set time that they tell you they will be here but they are always here every four weeks. They leave a note explained what they applied to the lawn and what you need to do with it. They have missed some spot in the lawn and I would have to tell them to go there but nothing to big.

They are very easy to work with. They do great work, I never have a problem with weeds. They actually do their job and show up on time. They will even do the fertilizing by hand if our yard is to wet. They are just really nice guys, we refer them to everybody. They calls us afterwards to make sure were satisfied, and they are very customer oriented.

I use this company for many of my lawn care treatments. They are fantastic in the caring of my lawns. I use them all the time now. I would recommend them to anyone needing great services.

They are timely and professional. They have very reasonable fees. They are excellent! They do a very professional estimate.

Was due for spring treatment 3.5 weeks ago, they would call, say they are going to be out the next day, but never would show up or call to let you know they couldn't make it out. When the office was called, they would always give excuses and false promises of being done by a certain day, only to fail to show up again. I canceled my services after this happened 5 times. If you want reliable service, this isn't it.

They do good work. If I ask them to, they will tell me when they are coming. If I am not home they leave a marker in the lawn so that I know that they were there. Their treatment is very effective. They are very responsive, also.

They are very professional and timely. They just show up and do the work. When they are done they leave a little white flag and the bill on the lawn. I have a beautiful lawn.

Excellent. I called 4 companies, 2 responded, and Kapps was 1st. Rich had to miss the 1st appointment and went way out of his way to reschedule around my work schedule and the weather. Although consultation is not part of their modest price, he thoroughly explained my lawn, how to treat it, and the options for next season. The receptionist was friendly and responsive and Rich is an expert. My neighbor had her lawn treated that week as well (we both received a discount for that). I have a small lawn which results in less money for them, but you would never know by the way I was treated.
