Everything went extremely well. Within a few months I was starting to walk again. He was very helpful, and if I ever needed anything I could just call and he would help me out. He made the whole process a lot better. It was a very nerve racking experience, and I'm so grateful that he would be there any time I had any concerns.I would definitely go to him again if I had to. He's a wonderful surgeon!

I had an excellent experience with him. His staff is friendly and professional. They are just expensive because they charged me $13000 for colonoscopy.

My son had pneumonia in February 2013 and was hospitalized at IU North for 4 days. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of his treatment. The doctors and nurses in the ER were very patient and attentive. They spent a lot of time assessing him when we arrived, and repeatedly made themselves available to answer our questions and make us comfortable until it was time for him to go upstairs. Once we got upstairs, the wonderful care continued. The pediatrics department goes above and beyond to address the unique needs of children. They gave him his own blanket and stuffed animal. He has the blanket at home now on his bed and it's his favorite. The child life team visited several times with activities like painting (my son loves art), books, and video games. They even held a valentine's day party for the kids on the unit, and my son got valentines from the staff, which was great since he was disappointed about missing his valentine party at school. He also had a visit from the therapy dog, which was his favorite thing about the hospital. The pediatric doctors and pulmonologists came by twice a day and were extremely thorough in their explanations of everything. I never once felt like I didn't understand the illness, the treatment, or the potential complications. The nurses always stayed on top of things, and if there was something my son needed (breathing treatments, etc) they got orders for it immediately. The food service in the room was wonderful also. There was a lot to choose from on the menu, although my son didn't have much of an appetite until the day he went home. But there was plenty to tempt him with, and every food service employee that brought food was courteous and friendly. I really can't say enough good about IU North. In fact, our son said he'd tell all his friends that if they ever got hurt or sick, that's the place they should go!

Not too impressive. If we lived near another hospital we would try it with another baby. With 2 of our 3 babies we had to share our room the first night with another newborn and their parents. Seriously. They really need to remodel and update the rooms. The staff is friendly. The care was fine. Just a bad, outdated facility.

Dr Imel was very kind and gentle with our little girl (6 months old). He also took the time to make sure my husband and I fully understood the testing to be done, the implications of the disease and treatment of the disease (if necessary). We are very pleased with Dr Imel and his staff.

Did a thorough assessment and made treatment recommendations. Ordered appropriate blood work but did not order excessive or uneeded tests. Treatment recommendations were very helpful. Gave 100% of her time and attention for the full 40 minute appointment. Sought input from me.

Dr. Kelly is outstanding! After going to her for an exam, there was no other gynecologist for me. I have probably gone to her for 8 - 10 years. She explains what she's doing. She listens. She gives advice. I trust her implicitly.

Dr. Jacobs is probably one of the best physicians I have ever had. She is very thorough and careful with her assessment of my illness. Even though my appointments are 6 months apart, Dr. Jacobs can remember such things as the status of my hands from one visit to the next examination. She remembers my interests and the important things in my life and seeks ways to minimize my illness in order to continue to enjoy this activities. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding immunosuppressent disorders and this background shows in the care she provides. I expect to continue to see Dr. Jacobs and would highly recommend her to others. The only negative I can add is that it can be difficult to contact her between appointments. It is best to plan for a couple of days for a call back. However, when there is an emergency I have been able to reach her nurse very quickly. Also, she sometimes seems a bit rushed but still does a thorough job when seeing me.

He has got a really, really good knowledge base and experience level. The staff there are very very cooperative and kind. He is very thorough, and explains things very clearly. He’s an unusually good doctor. I called the office on Friday to ask about a specific problem, and the receptionist answered my question. Dr. Nelson called me back, on a Saturday, to make sure everything was going well.
Description of Work: I went to see him for some problems related to my MS. There’s not a specific course of treatment he’s prescribing, but he’s helping me deal with infection, which has been a problem in the past. I really appreciate his help dealing with the problem.

It took almost a month for me to get an appointment. When I arrived, I was taken to the exam room pretty promptly but after the initial data collection (current medications, blood pressure, etc). I was left in the room for a while. I wasn't seen by Julie until 40 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start. The exam room was really hot. My interaction with Julie and with the other staff was pleasant. It was convenient to get labs drawn in the same building. I was disappointed that though Julie ordered a follow up at 8-9 weeks, my follow-up is actually at 10 weeks because there are no available appointments before then.

Dr Fisher is over all a very good doctor - he can sometimes seem a little fast as far as communication but I can ask him to slow down and he complies. He does prepare for my visit and I feel that he has reviewed my numbers before he sees me. Overall I like his attitude and bedside manner. I would recommend Dr. Fisher.

You see Matt for about an hour the first visit to go over your condition and what he thinks your rehabilitation will include: exercise, massage therapy, etc. Then you meet usually twice a week for your rehab. While I'm not very good at times doing what I'm told Matt does an excellent job keeping you on track. I won't go anywhere else for rehabilitation and I live 30 miles away!!
Description of Work: I did my rehabilitation for my Achilles Tendonities at the Bloomington Hospital Rebound Center East location on Woodcrest. I saw Matt Hahn and he's absolutely amazing. I've actually seen him several times for my knees and a should issue. He is extremely knowledgeable and all the office staff are truly excellent. They work very hard to make sure you get the appointment times you need.

This visit was like all the others....plenty of time to discuss the issues at hand. Dr. Pascuzzi and Angi make a difficult disease much less difficult! Dr. Pascuzzi is so down to earth for someone who has such stellar intelligence. I can't imagine anyone I'd like better for a neurologist!
Description of Work: I have a serious neurological condition (ALS) and Dr. Pascuzzi diagnosed and follows me as a patient. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions thoroughly. My appointments are never rushed, which is a big thing for me. I don't mind waiting a bit to see a doctor if they don't rush through my appointment. Dr. Pascuzzi's assistant, Angi Micheels, is amazing, too. She keeps track of a million details and always does a great job of making sure nothing falls through the cracks. I highly recommend Dr. Pascuzzi!

I was able to get an appointment in a few days. The staff was polite and professional on the phone and in person. Truthfully some of the nicest medical assistants I've ever worked with. And Dr. Machado listened carefully, answered more questions than most patients probably ask, and kept me well informed about what to expect as treatment progressed. Dr Machado thought that this was another condition similar to what I had, but did a biopsy of one of the sores just in case. It turned out to be a very rare (about 1.5 per million adults) condition that was related to the autoimmune system. This helped her diagnose this unusual condition correctly, and an effective course of treatment was set up. My primary care physician - who I think is the best - told me that he would not have diagnosed this condition this way. It turned out that Dr. Machado is a specialist in autoimmune skin conditions and their treatment. Very fortunate to have someone who could get this right first time. Because this condition sometimes affects the kidneys, she referred me to a phrenologist who is treating me now. I would strongly recommend this doctor to anyone needing a dermatologist.

I had been going to another OB/GYN in another practice, however we weren't a good personality match, so I decided to find another doctor. A few weeks went by when I found out I was pregnant and had to find a new OB/GYN quick! Going off of referrels from several of our friends, my husband and I decided to go with Dr. Priddy before even meeting her... best decision ever! We have both been very pleased with her attention to detail, taking the time to listen, and answering all of our questions. She was wonderful during the actual delivery of our son - kind, encouraging, and thoughtful. Her calm demeanor helped me tremendously in the delivery room. I will most certainly continue to use her in the future.

We had a bad experience in the ER. The communication was not good and we had to pay a very large bill that our insurance would not cover because they said we did not follow the guidelines even though we did.. The ER determined it was not an emergency and that we should have gone to an urgent care center. The urgent care center was already closed so we could only go to the ER. The ER could have verified that we went to the urgent care center and did not. The front office staff were very nice. The doctor and xray tech were not. If we needed to use them we would be more careful.

March 1, 2013 my wife was not able to stand up anymore. After arriving at the emergency room,it soon was decided to keep her in the hospital..The professional care was excellent. After a few days the doctors, nurses and staff noticed much progress. Soon she was able with the assistance of a friendly therapist and the use of a special walker to go a short distance. Her room with an unforgettable view from the sixth floor was very nice. As an extra surprise it was enjoyable to see the Live Support helicopter appear before the window during take-off and landings. Even though we don't look forwards to hospital stays, the overall experience was good. We certainly would use this facility again.
