Overall experience was very positive. TV looks nice despite the compications of an old home. Uverse provided some additional complications on for the infra-red remote which performs below what I would consider average (nothing to do with company's job). They cleaned up well and go the job done on time.

Joel was very clean. He cleaned up after his work, and he had booties over his shoes to not track and dirt in our house. I could not ask for a better company to do the job. I went with Joel because of his reviews on Angie's List. Joel went above and beyond the scope of work. The job went longer than expected, but no install is the same. Joel sorry for our 90 pound lap dog jumping in your car and knock over your tools. Thanks for doing a great job!

Crew did a great job - they were on time and professional and everything works great. Will call again if I ever need any TV or sound wiring done for the house.

Shopped around, and got 3 AL estimates. One co. wouldn't even quote a price when they knew I was talking with Joel ("I don't know how he does it at his cost, but I hear he does great work, so go with him."). He was in fact much less expensive. Got the 3 TVs mounted (mount and HDMIs included). Did great work. Even helped program remotes. Can't say enough as to what a great job he did. Have already referred him to a number of people. No question, Joel is your guy if you want TVs mounted.

The tv in the great room was not hung level. This was readily apparent to us, so we asked that it be corrected. They made some superficial adjustment that did not help much. As a result of running the cables through the walls, there are three holes where he messed up. These holes are visible from the side angle. Even after attaching the required plate on another hole, part of the hole is still exposed to view. There are three boxes near the floor that should have been straight and lined up. He said it was level, but we could readily see they were not. I spent several hours using my digital level, and other tools, to confirm what our eyes were telling us: the boxes were not level, not lined up, and not evenly spaced. In another room, the tv should have been centered. He didn't measure it; just eyeballed it. The plates are crooked and visible. Early on, I emailed Joel a copy of text I planned to use in a review with Angie’s List, to which He responded that he would return and make corrections. Nevertheless, we declined his offer because the necessary corrections would be a major undertaking, i.e. temporary disconnection and removal of cables, patching a number of holes (drywall repair), etc. The primary issue here is the work should have been done right to begin with.

Indy TV Mount was quick to return our call to set up an appointment for the installation. They gave us a 3 hour window for their arrival time. They arrived at the end of the time window and immediately began to work on the assembly of the wall mount, which was included in the total price. The quality of materials was excellent and the two people worked efficiently to finish the job. They vacuumed the carpet when they were finished and moved furniture to complete the job.

Everything went very smoothly and Joel was very flexible and helpful. The first portion of our project required dismounting one TV in one room and re-mounting it in another (the playroom). We needed to work around painters and dry wall repairmen that were scheduled to repair the drywall after the TV was dismounted and paint the playroom before it was re-mounted. It seemed logistically difficult to me, but Joel worked around the schedule easily and we had everything perfect in time for family arriving from out of town a week later. Joel also helped direct me in what I needed to order from AT&T to set up the TVs with wireless receivers and remotes that do not have to be in the line of sight of the receiver to work. I would not have known how to get all of that coordinated before his job, but he was great at getting that going on his initial visit. The last piece of the project was to mount a TV in our kitchen, but we didn't have the TV at the time we needed him to do the other pieces. He was great about coming back out a few weeks later to finish that piece, and he also extended the multiple-TV mount discount he offers to that TV even though it was mounted at a different time. We were very pleased with all of Joel's work and would recommend Indy TV Mount to any of our friends.

Update - 3/21/13 -- Bumping up my score slightly - since I apparently can't remove this review. The company just got back with me after I cancelled my quote saying that the emails from Angie's list had been filtered out and they were very cordial and apologetic for not getting back to me in a timely manner. They wanted very strongly to still provide me a quote but I have already chosen a vendor. They handled it well today but all I can really speak to is my direct experience and a company receiving business quote requests via email should be better about ensuring it is working properly. In the future I might give them a try again for a future quote. --- I requested a quote through Angie's List. Most vendors got back within a day. After 11 days of no response, I cancelled the request. I can't speak to their quality but at least in terms of answering simple emails and getting back to arrange a quote, etc. they've got work to do.

I called Joel on a Saturday afternoon wanting to mount a tv in my living room. He explained what he and his company could do and was here two days later. We could not run wires through the wall because it was all brick. Joel had a number of ideas and he was able to put white casing over the wires and run all the cables to another section of the living room. It looks amazing and you can not see anything. It was a great idea and it looks really clean. Joel was great. He was always on time and went above and beyond. I look forward to hiring them again.

Joel did a great job. He and his assistance arrived on time, were open about the process, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We would definitely work with him again.

I contacted Joel on a Tuesday after reading the excellent reviews on Angie's List. He explained over the phone what his service includes and the pricing. He was able to perform the work on Thursday. He called on the way to our house and arrived as scheduled. He was efficient and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. Our fireplace had a brick flue which meant the installation was a little tougher and required some openings being made in the wall above. Joel explained all of this, what it would look like when done, etc., before doing anything. After we gave him the OK, he performed the job in excellent fashion. Our old DVR was not compatible, so I went and purchased a new Blu Ray player which Joel installed. He cleaned everything up very well. This installation took 4 hours and included the wall mount, an electrical outlet, and all necessary cables. To work for 4 hours and provide all necessary equipment for $484.00 is in my opinion a tremendous bargain, especially when factoring in Joel's knowledge and quality of workmanship.

Purchased a Daily Deal from Angie's List. Did not know the company. The installer arrived on time. Surveyed the area, decided what tools he'd need and got to work. Couldn't make something work, so went into the crawl space to find how to fix it. Checked to see if everything worked well on the TV. He did a good job. No complaints.

A national service provider was about $50.00 less than Indy Mount, but, I chose Indy Mount because they were the most knowledgeable, were located in Greenwood and provided more services than other companies. (Buyer beware: If you are getting estimates, make sure you describe the full scope of the work, e.g. TV size, if you are placing it over a fireplace, how wiring is hidden/not hidden, so that you get an accurate estimate. After watching the install, make sure you are getting someone reputable. I was a little skiddish about holes being drilled in my wall, but there was so little impact. The technicians were fun to talk to, very hard working and didn't seem to mind my questions. They replaced my HDMI from the TV to the cable receiver with new wiring and correctly programmed the TV and receiver so that I got a much clearer picture after installation. That was an unexpected bonus! Now, my TV looks just beautiful above the fire place. This install creates a nice, neat finished look to our family room. Had family members over for New Years' and we really enjoyed the TV. I had planned to put a TV in my kitchen, but don't need to now. I can see my TV from my galley kitchen. Thanks Indy Mount for performing such good work.

Joel did an outstanding job getting the TV mounted as well as connecting all accessories (sound bar, blue-ray player, etc.). I was very happy with the end product. Joel was able to work around obstacles (solid brick wall versus studs above the fire box) and configured the sound bar to hide the wires. Overall, he was done in a couple of hours and gave a better price since he didn't have to drill through wall studs.

We had a complicated electrical situation that had to be addressed prior to mounting the TV. Joel provided suggestions we could give the electricians and he made sure the set up would work. Joel knew exactly what to do based on the age of our house and what we wanted to have. Very professional and efficient all the way around.

Joel called on the day of service and asked if he could come early, which worked out great for us. He explained the process before proceeding. He was professional, courteous and answered all questions. He cleaned the work area and walls and vacuumed afterwards.

Excellent service. Joel arrived on time and was very professional. He even showed me how to work the internet on the TV. He made sure everything was cleaned. Will definitely use again and will tell my friends and co-workers.

These guys were very easy to work with and did a very professional job. The mounting work was excellent. The connections of the equipment in our basement was not the best, as I later had to have the cable guy re-configure some cables for me.

Started on time. Went over everything he was going to do. Asked where I wanted speakers, etc.

Joe, comes to your house on time and calls you 30 minutes before coming. He knows what he does and he is really nice. He even came on a second day to mount my component shelf on the wall. he is pretty flexible and works with your working schedule. I guess the only way to beat his price would be doing it yourself or having a friend to do this for you. Highly, highly recommended!

They were professional and the service was great. I called them and made an appointment. They came out on time and called me ahead of time to let me know that they were on their way. They came in we went over what I wanted done and that was it. They handled everything and even cleaned up any mess they made. Very professional company and I will be using them again to move some speakers I had built into the house to the TV I now have over the fireplace.

Fine. Was a big deal special. They were punctual and did what they said they would do for the price they said. Polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Theses guys did a great job putting our 55-inch LED Panasonic TV above our fireplace. They were very friendly and very professional, and the price was great. I would recommend them to anyone.
