I dealt directly with the President of this company, Brady Wilson. They have competitive pricing and I felt like Brady was honest with me about what we needed for our home. Installation went well however, after that, my experience unfortunately took a bit of a turn. I wanted to upgrade our thermostats to something that would have internet accessibility utilizing our existing Honeywell RedLINK zoning system. Trying to get this accomplished was an absolute nightmare. The wrong thermostats were brought out at installation so I spoke with Honeywell myself and directly provided Homesense with the equipment that would be needed for my system. I had to go back and forth explaining why this was the correct setup and even sent direct hyperlinks to the equipment they needed, which was very self-explanatory considering I am just an average homeowner and in no way and HVAC expert. Finally, I was told Homesense was sending out their best zoning expert to finalize my installation. He showed up missing a thermostat, installed extra equipment that was not needed, programmed my zones incorrectly, and left hours later needing to come back to complete the job yet again. Ultimately, I ended up troubleshooting the problem myself thanks to some internet research, removed the extra equipment, and figured out how to program the system which now works as I originally intended. I explained my frustration to Brady after multiple failed attempts to fix this issue, who now has just stopped responding to my emails. Overall, I think if you need basic installation of HVAC services, Homesense may perform just fine, I suppose time will tell. Any troubleshooting needs I would be highly skeptical of this company’s ability to handle appropriately.

After we had the worst experience ever with another company (I made them give us our money back after they installed a new HVAC system incorrectly), I called 3 other companies to get quotes to replace the system and shotty work that had been done. Brady showed up the next day and was very knowledgeable with what we were needing and they had a great system that matched our desire to be a little more eco-friendly. The price was fantastic and Brady was a joy to work with. The crew was fantastic and the manufacturer of our system came and checked on everything and they didn't leave until they ensured everything was perfect. They just came by to do the fall tune-up and Darren was a pleasure (as always). Looking forward to using them for the time we are living in Indy. Thanks so much again for turning a nightmare into a flawless transaction!

One unit need Freon. Easy fix so that was fine. The other two needed parts and they were going to get me an estimate. No reply despite follow up call to office. And they were recommended by Mitsubishi.

Total RIP OFF! I was charged $85 dollars for a service call. The technician removed a little debris from a tube and said the system was working fine. A couple days later the furnace failed again. I soon learned that they DO NOT do a whole system diagnosis for the original $85. Instead, they do a temporary fix to get it running. Then when the system breaks down a couple days later, they act like they could care less and charge you an emergency trip fee. Homesense would not come back unless I paid $125 emergency fee on top of the $85 I have already paid. They forced me to wait 3 days for a non emergency visit while I sat freezing in my home. Needless to say, I was forced to call a more honest contractor to resolve my issues. I have since spoken with several contractors that provide a full system diagnosis for the original service fee. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! GO WITH SOMEONE WHO WILL PROPERLY DIAGNOSE YOUR SYSTEM THE FIRST TIME FOR THE ORIGINAL SERVICE FEE!

Multiple call backs occurred due to incomplete work. The overall quality was good however I do not think the proper amount of time was allotted to preform the work.

It didn't go as well as I wanted. Even though they had drawings they had trouble getting the duct work in the right places. They put a return air duct at the top of the stairway which would make for a trip hazard. I had to move it. I had to explain to them that return air was needed in the basement living area. They tried to use up all of the available space in the mechanical room and they told me I was being picky. I had to move the panel they installed in the mechanical room to make room for the electrical panel. They put a thermostat the cover 4 rooms in the smallest room that normally has the door closed. I had to move that also. Their ad in Angie's list now says they don't do geothermal. What a good idea.

Well worth the investment. We already had central air, but humidity levels were still too high. Homesense looked at our home to determine what location would work best for us; we decided on a crawl space installation with connection into the existing duct work. The salesman/estimator and installer were punctual and professional. The new dehumidifier has made a tremendous difference in comfort levels in our house!

I see that they no longer offer geothermal which is probably a good idea. Most of the consultation that they did with me was after work had been done and I objected to how it was done. e.g. the thermostat for one of the 6 zones was placed in a small room that usually has the door closed. When I asked them to move to a more appropriate location they wanted me to pay for it. I did it myself. The zone controller was placed 4 feet from the furnace where other mechanical equipment need to go. When I objected to the placement I was told I was just picky. I moved it, also. They put in a barometric damper that spilled the excess air into a basement zone. That zone, as all of them are, is living space. In the summer when cold air needs to be spilled to reduce the pressure on the system that zone gets down to 62 degrees with the thermostat off. Rather than fix it they decided not to work on my system any more. They were supposed to complete the work and put the system in operation by the end of 2014 so that I could get the 30% credit on my taxes. They didn't finish until late spring of 2015 which put off my credit another year. They may be good at small jobs but if you have a big job to do look elsewhere.

Tech was honest and determined an issue with the thermostat was just a simple electrical fix, avoiding having to install new thermostat. Did all the maintenance and cleaning. Pitched the annual service but wasn't pushy - which I appreciate.

Excellent. The part was expensive, but the labor charged was very fair given the time he worked at it. Temperature in my home was back up to normal before dark that day. I could not have been more pleased, they exceeded my expectations.

Our heater went out and Homesense was called by my property management company. They called me within minutes after being notified by our management company, but did not have a heating technician available at 7:30 PM. Their profile says they provide 24 hrs emergency services, but did not have any technicians available when they called. They said they would send someone over first thing in the morning. The next morning, we promptly received a call from the technician saying he was his way. He was very nice, professional, and covered his shoes when he came in our house. He checked the thermostat, and quickly checked the furnace for any issue. Thankfully the technician had a replacement part in his van, and was able to get the emergency heat running. The technician also checked the outside unit for further issue. They system is not fully restored, but that was due to our property management company not approving the repair immediately. Overall the technician was very knowledgable, courteous, and trustworthy. He got the heat running and was very thorough in finding the real issues with our heating system. When my management company finally approves the work order, I hope they send Homesense again. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had used Homesense previously and was very impressed with their professionalism and prompt service. While attempting to clean the furnace, in October of 2015, they discovered that there was a hole in my heat exchanger which if used, could cause carbon dioxide leaks to enter my home. The serviceman showed me the hole and although it was not the news I wanted to hear, (as I needed a new furnace), I was very pleased with their service.

I really appreciated the work our technician did and the advice he gave.  He was patient and informative, and answered all of our questions about our HVAC system and recommended maintenance.  However, he told us that he needed to replace a part-- I can't remember what it was, but it was in cartridge form and that it would cost something like $130 or $150.  I asked if that was just the part or parts and labor; he said it was both and that he was able to replace it very quickly-- like less than 5 minutes.   I had a fussy baby and didn't want to deal with research so I said yes, but I kinda regret it because when I looked up the part afterwards it looks like it cost less than $10 online.  The replacement was something I could've done myself-- definitely not worth an extra $120.  We will continue to use them because we'd already purchased a year service agreement, but I think there's other options out there.
