He did a great job. The price was expensive but I didn't get other estimates.

Jason Fetzer arrived on time for the estimate appointment. We went over the work to be completed. He was obviously very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. I signed the contract before he left and was provided with a materials list. The work was completed 5 days later. Because the work was all outside, I opted not to be home on that day. I can not comment on his punctuality but the work was completed upon my return home. I was very satisfied with his workmanship and will call him again.

There was electrical, plumbing, and some other work like cutting in a window. I did complain when they gave me the estimate. They offered to break it down after giving me the first estimate without itemization. They should have done this the first time. I had 10 projects, I wanted 10 itemized statements. Estimate was about $8-10k. They were polite and thorough.

They were very honest and I felt comfortable with them being in the house. He seemed very professional and knew what he was doing around the house. I wouldrecommend them to anyone.

It went very well. We will use them again in the future.

Office staff were courteous and professional in scheduling visit. Craftsman was punctual for both estimate and repair visits. He carefully explained the details of the repair and terms. All repairs were made as stated with good quality workmanship. I plan to hire again for other jobs.

The first craftsman they sent had a few problems with the fit, and did tell us about them before he left, but after studying the job found that there were several items not fitting right that would eventually affect the insulation, craftsmanship and looks of the doors. After calling them they sent an area supervisor and he corrected the problems at the same visit. We were pleased with the outcome and the overall workmanship of the job.

I had informed the plumber that I had already snaked the pipes. He insisted that the vent in the plumbing line would solve the problem or at least make drainage better. I had also told him that the vent that already exists on the roof may be clogged. After it appeared that neither drain in my double sink did not appear to result in better drainage, he proceeded downstairs to the main for the kitchen sink. He said he had a 2:00 appointment and did not have time to investigate the main drainage. He or someone could return the next day. I proceeded to call another plumbing company because I felt that Handyman should have stayed to finish the job the first time since I was paying them and I needed my sink. Before Handyman left I suggested that the situation was not any better and asked what remedy he could give me. He offered 2-$25.00 handyman bucks, I suggested $75.00 worth of handyman bucks, but of course he only had $50.00 worth in his truck. By the way handyman bucks can only be used one ($25.00) at a time. And the ones I received expired in 3 months. What a gip. Handyman did call back to make another appointment the next day to make another appointment and I told them that I had called another plumber. I was informed that I should had let them return to honor the warranty. I let them know that I had been dealing with a slow drain for some time and that they should have stayed and checked out the main drain and vent on the roof. They already had my money and offered no other remedy to the problem. I did, however, call and ask them to clean my vent for 10/11/10. Currently neither of my double sinks will drain at all even after calling another plumber because no one will investigate the air vent. But that is another story. I want my money back.

My storm and exterior doors were out of alignment. I feared that they would need to be removed and the frame reset. Yet, the homeowner's association said all that was needed was to tap the frame into place, which the repair man did very well. Since the job required less work than was expected, the price was much lower.

I was having a problem with a slow seepage of water from one side of the double kitchen sink. The sink would not hold water long enough to wash the dishes. (Yes, I still do this by hand.) I use both sinks constantly when cleaning greens and other veggies. This was a very annoying situation. I replaced strainers a few times....still experienced seepage. I bought 2 new assemblies (drain and basket strainer) and called Handyman Connection. Damon Garner came early (about 20 minutes) and quoted a price after calling Handyman and got to work. He went to work with all the right tools and was done within an hour. No mess was left. He left some water in the sink to make sure everything was okay while he wrote my receipt. Everything is good. It would have taken me all day or longer. I hate spending the money if I can do it myself... but this was worth it and no trip charge!

All went well. Very professional and courteous.

He did a competent job building the railing a pretty decent price. I needed it done very quickly because I was closing on my house so he came out two days before close. He made sure he was done before I needed it so he was good in that manner.

Horrible! Had numerous problems including a hole in the wall in another room which was patched but never painted. Had a contract to have bathtubs in two bathrooms replaced. The first job was a disaster! It took several weeks but it was finally taken care of. It was suppose to have only taken a few days! The second bath was as bad but the contractor knocked a hole in the wall in another room so now I will have to paint the whole room! The reason why we let the company come out to do the second bathroom is because we were told that if we gave them another chance that they would send a more qualified person and promised that we would be happy with the work this time. By the way the owner/manager NEVER even came out to see the mess they made even though I called and complained several times. They also were not very nice to deal with! Also Lowes had nothing to do with this! If you have documentation then show it! I also have several family members and friends who also had bad experiences with this company!

I was quite pleased with everything he did. He was prompt, very courteous and friendly. He was also very neat.

Anytime you hire someone, it is a roll of the dice. I hit the jackpot. I have already begun a new list and plan on asking for Jason when I call Handyman Connection. The other craftsmen might be equally good; however, I am going to stick with a good thing.

It went pretty good. There was some breakdown in communication on how the parts are bought. I knew I would have to pay for them, but I thought that they would buy them and include the cost on top of the labor cost that had been estimated. They wanted me to drive to the hardware store and purchase the items. The handyman and I worked it out because it is a long drive from my house to a hardware store. So he bought the items and I paid him back. Unfortunately, I had to reimburse him in cash instead of putting it all on my credit card with one transaction. Just be sure to get all the details before the day of the work.

Even with my membership discount, the cost for the placement of the two drywal panels was $450, and since he was present for 4.5 hours, that averages out to be $100 per hour. That rate is very excessive, but I accepted the estimate because he was licensed, bonded and insured, and I just did not want to keep looking for someone. I used the July, 2010 magazine to identify a handyman instead of calling so I could ask specific questions. A lesson learned. Also the young man was short on supplies. I supplied the wastebasket for the debris. I supplied a hair dryer (I did not have a fan) when the young man finally learned it would work as well as a fan to speed the drying of the mud. I then used my own sweeper to clean up the mess. He did not think to put down a drop cloth. He was very respectful and did a nice job, but his inexperience was evident. He could not explain how the price for the job was determined.

Greg did a great job; very professional; very skilled; clean-up was spotless.

I had them come out for an estimate on installing smoke detectors and fixing a running toilet. First of all, they came a week later than they told me they'd come--just incredibly lucky that I was even home when they came, and second of all the price was outrageous! I would never use them!

It went so well! I found this company and two others on Angie's List, and emailed them with my list of needed chores. Within an hour, I had a call from this company, and scheduled an appointment for the estimate the following day. As mentioned by other customers, it's the practice of Handyman Connection to present an estimate for approval, and once that was done for me by Jason Fetzer, I approved it, and scheduled the work to be done the following day. I was impressed with the quick response by the office and the follow-up with Jason for the estimate. As he'd promised the day before, Jason arrived here at my house at 9:15 and set to work. If he had questions, he asked me before beginning a task. He spent the full day here until around 4:30 and completed everything exactly as I'd hoped. He did a great job. I'm VERY happy, especially since I've yet to hear from either of the others I emailed at exactly the same time I sent out the request to Handyman Connection. Thanks, Jason!

It went well. The job was done very well and cleanup was also good.

I was given a quote and I made an appointment. The gentleman arrived on time, went straight to work, and installed the door as requested. Price of $275.00 was reduced %10 due to Angies List Discount. The work was done satisfactorily and cleanup was completed in 4 -5 hours.There were no problems with this install. We would use them again.

They did a very professional job. The price and quality were fine. Overall it was good.

Went very well - showed up on time, did work as promised - very nice technical job with the installation, including leveling the feet when the ladder is extended. Very satisfied!
