He was very much a gentleman and was very knowledgeable. I really liked him.

He came by one day to write down the materials he needed. The back door is offset in three different ways. The handyman said he got the wrong materials. The materials he used were not the ones he needed to use to make it more level. He said it would cost $200, which we complained about. I got in contact with the corporate office, and they stood by what they said. They said if I had anyone redo the work than I lose the warranty. They put on the receipt that he was not putting it up for appearence. Now we have to redo everything they did. Marion County is going to do a write-up for a violation when they do their inspection.

John called a few minutes before arriving, was very prompt, and a pleasure to work with. He spent four hours at our house on the job and left our door in better shape than it had been, so I feel the price was justified. Great job!!!

Joe was very prompt, funny, and extremely professional. He walked me through everything he was doing and answered all questions in a professional manner. He was very neat. I had an estimate from another company for between $450-$500 for services. Handyman Connection and Joe completed the services for $261.oo..huge difference and worth every penny. I will definitely use them again!

Over all, he did a very good job. He got the work done when he said he would and also at the price he said it would. He got all the materials to do the job. He also recommend a good paint store to pick out the right paint for the job.

Won't be hiring - this appears to be a big company and I would rather use a local company and be able to talk to the person actually doing the job or knowing the work instead of an operator.

The quote actually surprised me. I felt the labor charges were a little to high compared to the work described to me by the plumber and compared to the offer by the company in their brochures of hiring a handyman for a day for $ 500. Otherwise everything was really good from the moment of making the first contact with the company to setting up the appointment an the actual visit. They were very quick and on time. The only thing which really bothered me was that they were supposed to come back to me with the cost of material which they never did. They gave a quote on the labor and they said they will supply the material for the cost they get it for. The guy who came was supposed to give me a call the next day but he never called. I got a call back after a week but I never got the cost for the material. after this report was posted, I received an immediate call from Handy man connection. Although they mentioned that the plumber did call, I never got the message, so I do not know what went wrong. Because of my type of work, I would have remembered the call. If the plumber did call, I would have rated the overall experience as A to A-. The $ 500 mistake in the first report came from a communication error because the interview was taken on the phone by Angie's list.

I was very pleased with them. They did a very thorough and professional job. They did a good job painting the trim and installation of the flooring. The price was fair.

The people that came out were professional. The estimates were close to the other estimates I have received. The project turned out to be more expensive than I had anticipated.

He was so pleasant and did a beautiful job.

We were informed that our garbage disposal needed to be replaced. We were told which model to buy and given an estimate on installation costs. We were also instructed which model exhaust fan/light to purchase and given an estimate on its installation costs. Shortly after getting our estimate our next-door neighbor stopped over with an Allen Wrench and within 5 seconds unjammed our garbage disposal. Obviously we didn't know that garbage disposals could be unjammed so easily with an Allen Wrench but I would expect a professional would. We were disappointed that we were advised to get a new garbage disposal when it was actually a very, very simple fix and getting a replacement was unnecessary.

Arrived on time , removed old junction box, determined where hanging wires should go and solved all problems.

The whole thing was not organized. I had multiple projects and they did them in a different order than I was prepared for. Especially with the garage, I had to move things in there for storage but then they started there so I had to move things back out. I recommended getting a report each day so that you can keep an eye on what work has been done. This group was messy; they left nails, trash and dirt everywhere. My garage floor has drywall mud everywhere. I thought the work that they did was good.

This is a wonderful company that i get a great deal use out of. They are always professional and usually send the same person and it?s nice to develop a customer service provider relationship.

The plumber showed up on time and did everything that was expected of him. I now have a new kitchen sink and faucet that look great! He did have to replace the garbage disposal, which was an unexpected expense, but the old one was ruined because the previous homeowners had fastened it in too tight.

We spent $400 on that service. The job went excellent. It was freezing that day and he totally did an awesome job. We used them a number of times and they have always been very professional. One thing I noticed is that when they come in my house they put little booties on, so they don’t track stuff in the house. They are very price competitive and he is very professional. He was great. We would tell others that we would recommend everything about him. We would use him again and specifically ask for him.

Mike came out three times: once for the estimate and twice for the work. On his second visit, he determined that some old, existing duct work needed to be moved and that he was not qualified to do the work. A different contractor was hired for that work. Mike came out the third time and completed the job. Mike replaced the faucet with the hose bib and replaced the old plumbing with PEX. He explained the process and showed me steps along the way. I would not hesitate to use Mike again.

Charles did a fantastic job, we had a leak around an upper story window and could not figure out where it was coming from. He quickly found that there was no z channel installed above the window. We were scheduled quickly and the work was done well. We will be using Charles again, he was great to work with, very friendly and courteous guy.

I spoke with Melissa who scheduled Brandon to come out and give me an estimate for the work, 2 days later. Brandon called me when he was on his way and he arrived early for the appointment. He evaluated what needed to be done and called Melissa for a price quote. Brandon was able to complete the work the same day. Both towel bars and the medicine cabinet were installed/hung into the plaster walls. Brandon cleaned up all of the mess. We are very happy with the work and will call Handyman again for other jobs.

I found them on Angie’s list and they also had a discount coupon and that is why I called them for an estimate. They were good at provided a breakdown of services. They have a formula to give a cost. They look at the project and what is needed and then quote you. It is easy to schedule an appointment with them. They were on time to provide the estimate.

Their quote was for $1500 which I felt was good. They were prompt and seemed to be very detailed about the job that I was looking for an estimate. I had a very good experience with them. They were courteous. When I wanted to discuss the job, they actually sent the guy that would do the job which was good. In that way, I did not have to explain the job twice as the actual worker would be the one that would show up. I have not yet decided on which service provider would do the job for me.

He did a satisfactory job. I have used him several times and he always shows up on time. The same guy always comes and does the work. He is a pretty good guy. He calls ahead to make sure you are available. I would use him again in the future when I have a problem.

When we decided to remodel our kitchen we contacted three contractors for comparison quotes. When we contacted the Handyman Connection office initially, we received a prompt response. Melissa scheduled an appointment for Joe to come to our home within a few days. When Joe arrived he introduced himself and put booties over his shoes before coming inside. He was very courteous and considerate. We discussed our project and he took measurements. He told us of his plan to protect our floors and appliances during construction (this was very important to us). Joe showed us a notebook of photos from previous jobs he had done; they revealed good craftsmanship and creativity. Before he left, Joe provided a quote of labor costs for our project. This quote was slightly higher than others received, but we still considered it to be a fair price. Later Melissa provided us with insurance and reference information. We were very impressed with comments made from the references and their descriptions of Joe's work. Of the 3 contractors we met, we selected Joe of Handyman Connection to do the work. Unfortunately the schedule of our project was changed greatly due to the much earlier completion of another part of the project. Joe was not available to do his part of the work on our project in this earlier time frame. Melissa offered to find another craftsman to come when we needed, but we decided to select one of the other contractors we had already interviewed and from whom we had received quotes.

At 10:30 AM, I sent an e-mail via their website requesting a service call. By 12:30 PM, the work was complete. Ron was pleasant and efficient. My only complaint is that my Angie's List coupon wasn't honored because this was a minimum price service call. Only a difference of $9 and certainly not a show-stopper, however, the coupon didn't include this disclaimer.
