They did an OK job. He was on time. He used a gloss trim and flat wall paint in both rooms. It has held up well over the years. I don't have any other prices to compare to though, so I am not rating that category.

It went very well. Ron, the contractor was on time and did a good job. I initially hired them to also hang a small mirror/shelf, but was told that would be an additional $60 which I found to be ridiculous. The TV does look very nice now that it is mounted. I only wish I had looked at the Angie's List big Deals first. Overall, I am happy with the work performed, and will use them again in the future.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and professional but that is where the professionalism ended After arrival I let the man doing the work look at my fathers house which is identical to mine. we had installedan attic ladder ourselves about 30 years ago with no problem ? He took measurements and then the man came to my house to do the installation. Thats when the fun began He informed me that thefolling items would be "EXTRAS" * actual cutting of the drywall to install the ladder (how else would you put the ladder in?) * Installation of the 2 cross pieces at the front and back of the opening( that must be installed on any attic ladder installation) * shims to install the ladder was considered additional bracing * cutting out any joists (which was the ony thing contained in the coupon). Then he said that the coupon applied to an open ceiling like a garage that had already been framed out for the ladder installation . ( So I guess they wanted $169.00 for to hold it up and put 4 screws in it!) But Enough was enough I sent him packing as I would urge anyone to do when even the necessary and standard things become "extras" I will never use this outfit again and would stronly reccomend that others stay away from this bait and charge extra outfit. He was very punctual. In fact, he arrived a little before the time he said he would be here. We received a special price for a day’s work. He was here for at least 9 hours. He was neat, very polite, and was a good worker.

Overall, service were performed as expected. The handyman arrived for estimate and day of service on time. He explained the service to be performed in detail. Also, provided options to be considered for repair, and allowed me to choose. I purchased the Big Deal for f$79 for 2 hrs of service. The service lasted a little over 3 hrs. However, the worker could have explained the charges paid to Handyman services a little better. After thinking about the price paid to Handyman services, it appears I paid quite a bit more for a portion of an hour about the 2 hours purchased on coupon; understood that material and supplies where to be paid separately. I am not sure how they arrived at the total cost.

The communication was very good. They were able to come out very quickly. There were two men working on the project and they communicated with each other and they had a good schedule. They scheduled it and got it done. The price met my expectations. I would absolutely use them again.

We had a good experience. They were very clear about what they where going to do, how much it was going to cost and how long it was going to take. I really like that they have experts in every field.

It was just one guy that came out to look at it, and he did a really good job. I got the estimate probably by afternoon; he emailed it to me. It was kind of raining that day, and he was outside in the rain, and he came back another time as well to look at it. I would consider using him again in the future.

We called to schedule the drywall repair and they were very booked up due to the Angies List deal. Even so, they got us in at a conveinent time a few weeks out. The day before, they called to remind us and then they called when the handyman was on his way. He assessed the 3 areas that needed repair and did an excellant job repairing them. He didn't mind that it was such a small job. He did excellant work matching the drywall up to the side of the tub, which I doubted that I could do. He was neat and pleasant - would use again!

We took advantage of one of Angie's List's "big deals" and paid $169 rather than the usual $199. Scheduling the work was easy, the service called the day before to confirm and the worker arrived exactly on time. He removed the broken ladder, examined the new aluminum ladder kit (which we purchased separately) and determined that some additional framing would be necessary due to the size of the current attic opening. Fortunately we had some extra lumber and he was able to use some 2x4's to make the new opening very secure. He carefully saved the trim pieces from the original installation and reused them so that the new finished look is an improvement on how it looked before. Eric, the handyman, was very professional and resourceful. He worked constantly from the minute he arrived until he cleaned up, packed his tools and was ready to leave. We are very pleased with the finished product and the quality of carpenter who performed the work.

We have used this company before and as usual the service was very professional, friendly, and completed to our total satisfaction. Each time we use Handyman, we always get a professional that is an expert in the service we are requesting. He knew what he was doing and only had trouble with some of the 'lack of' instructions that came with the mounting hardware that I bought. The first TV took a little longer and there was a bit of trouble with the wall mount, but when he went to do the second on it was quick and easy. We are a mother- daughter household, so it is really nice to have such a company to handle some of the Handyman duties to make it easier for us. The staff is always extremely professional and at no time do you feel uncomfortable with any of the staff sent out.

It was one of the Big Deals. It worked out fine. It was $99 for 2 hours of work. He was pretty good and met our expectations. The price was fine. It was $99 for like $200 worth of work. I think I would use them again.

He came out and spent the whole 5 hours on and off his cell phone. Half of the job was not done well at all. I would not use them again.

Jeff came out right on schedule and told me what stairs to buy. He called Lowe's to make sure the right one was in stock and gave me the item # to order on the phone. The normal trip charge to pick up the order was $25 but he only charged $15 because his paperwork showed that I already had a ladder. Jeff picked up the order and did a flawless job of installing the ladder. He recommended using longer lag bolts than the standard ones because my attic access was slightly wider than normal. Jeff drove back to Lowe's and bought the longer lag bolts. He didn't charge for the additional trip. My total cost was $186: $169 for installation, $15 trip charge, $2 for lag bolts. Jeff was professional, friendly, attentive and took pride in his work. He did such a good job that I'm having him give me an estimate on some outside trim work. I recommend Jeff and Handyman Connection highly.

Great. Dave did a great job. His installation was very neat and orderly and the price was reasonable.

He explained that he could not honor a Big Deal I purchased for an attic ladder install. I was impressed that he was honest with me and I am satisfied with his service.

Dave showed up on time for the estimate; I walked him through the house, showing him the various projects. He was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had, and made suggestions for materials that I would need to purchase, and offered to pick up an item that may be more difficult for me to find at a "big box" store. After all the projects were reviewed, Dave called the office to provide an estimate on the spot. Once I agreed to the estimate, we called the office back to schedule the work for the following week. I asked Dave if I needed to be present, and he said that I did not, so I gave him the garage access code. I received a reminder call from Handyman Connection the day before my work was scheduled. The day of the work, I provided the materials and left a note asking Dave to call me at my office when the work was completed. I received a call from Dave that everything was finished, and when I got home, everything worked exactly as I hoped! Great job Dave, and Handyman Connection! On to the next project....

Dave showed up on time (actually early, but he called to make sure that that was going to be ok) and got everything done in a timely fashion. He was professional and everything looks great.

I am in the process of selling a home, and needed various skills to prepare the house for sale. I contacted Handyman and arranged for 3 people to give me estimates on: 1) general handyman maintenance/repair projects , 2) move a gas furnace supply line fitting, and 3) replace an old electrical fuse box and to do some other miscellaneous electrical repairs (the house is about 60 years old). All 3 people showed up on time, were professional, seemed to know their respective fields, and (later) gave clear estimates. I hired the persons to do the furnace repair and the electrical work (still getting other estimates for the handyman stuff for comparison). The furnace work went flawlessly, and I would hire the person again. I also hired the electrician. He showed up to the work with his wife (assistant), and they both worked 2 solid days. They were both very professional, friendly and did very good work. I will certainly hire them again for any additional electrical work I need. My experience with Handyman was excellent, and I would certainly recommend them. The price was not cheap, but I feel it was reasonable, and I feel confident the work was done correctly.

I decided to go with them after interviewing them. I liked the skill base. I liked that one person could do the tasks that I wanted done. I had to wait till it rained to see if the gutter work was done completely. They are a good company. I would recommend them.

Electrician Joe C. arrived promptly and was very pleasant and professional. He explained each step as he searched for the source of the problem. The price was about what I expected . He also gave me an estimate for another job I am considering getting done later. I would request him again for any future electrical service.

He came late but let me know he would be late because of flooding near my home. He did a fine job, and did it very thoroughly including looking into the wall in order to find the leaks. He even went to pick up the correct supplies and came right back to fix the leaks. He did a great job.

It turned out great. They were really responsive. I called and they gave me an estimate the same day and they gave me a good estimate. I'm really pleased with the way it came out--the finished product.

I bought an Angie's List 'Big Deal' for $99 for three man hours of drywall repair. I called and made an appointment for Dave to come out and look at the job. He was very punctual and looked at all the repairs needed and I also needed a special project for him to give me a quote on. I had extra drywall work done in the living room which was quoted at $320 with a ten percent off for being an Angie's List member. Dave did an excellent job, he was very knowledgable and friendly and even gave me a few tips on drywall work. I am very pleased with all the work done and would hire them again!
