Great! The guys did all the work in one day and almost a year later, the goal has held up very well.

They were professional, efficient, and punctual. They did a great job and I will use their services again.

Cabinet pieces were special order, took a while to come in. No issues with handyman-person - he was friendly, good ideas on what he'd recommend, etc. Minor aggravation with communication with company. I always got voice-mail, calling shortly after 8 AM or at 4:05 PM; vmx greeting says they are open 8 AM to 5 PM but that is obviously not so. There was a scheduling misfire that could have been avoided; minor inconvenience. In one voice-mail message I said they could schedule to fit needs of company and/or tech, that no one would be home but that we'd arrange access. Call back message (being a teacher I cannot answer calls during the day) said tech was available Monday (12/10). We planned on that and cleared cabinets Sunday evening. I left message Monday AM on which door was left open. Received call stating they were ready to schedule visit, that the ball had been in my court and they were wanting to finalize the schedule. I understood we had a commitment; they said later they always require a confirmation call-back. Meaningless delay, IMHO. We had our counters full of stuff from the cabinet for two days until the tech could get to us (Weds 12/12). As an additional burr, tech mentioned there was a shipping error in the correct size cabinet pieces, he was not ready to come in Monday 12/10. I believe a call to us would have been appropriate at that time, particularly since in our view we had a set date for the work to be done, Monday 12/10.

The work was satisfactory but I had purchased a "Angie's Big Deal". I didn't feel like I received much of a break on the cost of the repair. Next time I purchase one of these it will be for a specific job or for a certain number of hours. I felt that the company was a bit pushy.

The handyman arrived on time for the jobs, was very professional, and answered any questions I had. He performed the work on time, and cleaned up the work areas. The price was reasonable for the work performed, based on estimates I got from other businesses.

Couldn't have gone better!! Great communication from Handyman Connection and the work was done in a timely manner and done very well. Would definitely use this company again.

I purchased the paint, so the price is for labor only. It was excellent. They did a good job.

Handyman was very responsive and easy to schedule. They came as promised and were on time. They performed an inspection and gave me a quote on the spot. The carpenter explained the quote and the needed work. A few days after the quote, the company followed up to see if I had any questions. Overall, the process was very easy and quick.

They were very professional - came when they said they were going to come and did what they said they were going to do.

I called Handyman based on the reviews here. They responded very quickly to my dryer vent fiasco and came out immediately for an estimate. They were prompt and professional. The problem was ultimately bigger than they expected. However, instead of floundering and cutting corners, they admitted that it was beyond their expertise and brought in outside help to assist in completion. To me, this was worthy of attention. How many companies do we know that pretend to know what they are doing but then do a lousy job. They don't do lousy work and stand behind everything they do 100%. I would use them again without hesitation.

We have a rental house that needed some plumbing repairs. We were in a hurry and our usual contractor couldn't make it out right away. Therefore, we called Handyman Connection to get an estimate. They were prompt in scheduling the appointment and the gentleman was on time. However, the experience went downhill from there. Instead of talking with and working with my husband only, as we are the home owners, he took way too much time having a conversation (about the problems as well as general) with the tenant. The estimate took incredibly too long and then was incredibly TOO high. The tradesman did not offer any alternate options or suggestions, just took the most expensive route. In the interest of sparing ourselves an outrageous expense, we waited for our usual contractor who offered several suggestions and ended up repairing the issues for almost $1,000 less than the Handyman Connection estimate. We were very unhappy with our experience.

The door was fine, but I was not too happy with his fencing. He did not have the right equipment to do it. He stressed the fence by hand, and needed our help to do this. I would use Handyman Connection again, but I would not want to use Bill.

He replaced the outside trim on the fireplace in my home. While working, he discovered a hornets nest. He had to come back when the bees were dorment to remove it. The work he performed was good.

They showed up on time and handled the drywall issues pretty well. The ceiling problems were in the bathroom above the shower where the textured ceiling was peeling off. He attempted to repair and match the pattern that previously existed, but admitted he'd never really done that type of work before and "did the best he could." It really didn't match well at all, and was pretty disappointing, but at least it wasn't peeling off anymore. In retrospect, I think I could've done as good a job on the ceiling and the drywall, but just didn't want to take the time to do it. For basic repairs, they are OK, but I don't think I'd use them again for that particular service.

The handyman was scheduled promptly, he arrived on time, was polite, knowledgeable and professional, but could not do the job that day, could only estimate it. I was disappointed in this, until I saw the estimate for $240 ! And this was supposed to be after a 20% discount coupon I had! I then went and did what I should have done in the first place, which was bring up Angie's list and get someone lined up for $99. I've used Handyman Connection in the past and been happy with the work, and may call them again for other jobs, but not without getting other estimates....and not for gutter cleaning.

He came and looked at the job and decided what he would need. He picked up the trim as I couldn't get it into my car, which cost me $20.00. Gave me an estimate at that time and since it was after office hours I called the next day to set up an appointment. Was able to have him back the next week. Was finished in four hours and looks great.

I could not expect it to have gone better.

They came for estimate on sidelight repair. The lady on the phone explained how the system works (owner buys materials, handyman performs work). John the person that was coming called me to find out if he could come earlier as his other appointment as finished. That was convenient for me. He showed up promptly and evaluated my work , explained pricing and he indicated that the work was beyond the scope of what they could do. They get an A because from call to visit it worked as it should. John was terrific showing to me what were some of the areas of concerns and it was true as I found out later, the materials for this repair seem to not be available anywhere. So next time I need another handyman, I'll give them a call.

We purchased the Angie's big deal and I don't remember exactly how much the installation was. It was affordable. We purchased the ladder and they installed it. I would recommend this service and would hire them again.

Old light fixtures were not working and also were ugly. They replaced them with some I bought in about 45 minutes and now they work!

The painter came to my address and measured and assesed what needed to be done. He gave me the estimate. I called the office and set up a start date. The painter showed up daily until the work was complete. There were some rain situations during the week he worked but, he always found a way to fit something in that could be done regardless of the rainc so, the project could be finished on time.

Repaired leaky picture window. Had been leaking off and on for 6-7 yrs Excellent company. Charles Ester is the best Handyman I have ever used. Highly recommend to anyone looking for any type of handyman work and even large projects.

I have used Handyman Connection many times for odd jobs and this last time for major repairs to get a house ready to sell. They are always easy to schedule an estimate and get the work done in a timely manner. They stick by their estimates even if the job takes a little longer or ends up being more difficult. It's great to have one person be able to take care of so many different items that need to be done. You don't have to hire many different companies and pay more. I had them replace faucets, toilets, lighting fixtures interior and exterior, vinyl siding, wallpaper stripping, painting, door replacement, doorknob replacement, and repair cabinetry falling off walls. They tell you what you should buy and review everything to make sure you get the right materials. If they need anything else, they purchase what they need and save all receipts. They honor coupons without question and give you the best discount. Ron does a great job.
