The whole process, from estimate to scheduling and completing the work was very smooth. Jeff and another handyman arrived as scheduled and got the work done in the time allowed. I will probably use Handyman Connection again.

Trim work went fine , but the flashing was not installed thus causing a leak that stained our ceilings.

I called Handyman Connection in order complete a single job that needed to be done, which they took care of promptly and exceeded my expectations. I also had other work that needed to be completed, which they were also able to take care of. The work was done as part of selling my home (the buyers requested a list of things to be completed) and this contractor was not only able to take care of a number of items on the list, but they recommended alternatives that made the buyers happy and cost me less money. I appreciated their flexibility and honesty as they could have just done what was requested and charged me a lot more! I would definitely call this contractor again!

I had a wonderful experience with Handyman Connection. The contractor I worked with was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Contractor was on time. All work done well.

Took 4-1/2 hours to do the few relatively simple things I needed done. When person came to see what I needed done, he told his office it would probably take all day-- the $459 as opposed to the $229 for up to 4 hours work. ( I figured a half day would be plenty, but agreed to the full day price, as I needed to get them done). I feel these things should not have taken more than 4 hours.

I called the Handyman Connection office Friday afternoon (10/11/13) and scheduled an appointment for someone to come assess their capability, and to price the work I wanted done. One job being tearing down the particle board ceiling in my garage and replacing with drywall. The scheduler and I agreed upon someone coming the next Friday (10/18/13) at noon, but I needed to correct her several times as she was making the final confirmation. She kept saying 2pm instead of noon. I had a few companies come out Friday the 18th. 12 o'clock rolls around and no one shows up or calls from Handyman Connection. I figured they were still confused about the scheduled time, so I called the office number around 1pm and left a message. My call was not returned and no one showed. Needless to say, they will not be getting my business now, or in the future.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal for a certain amount of time. I wasn't told that I needed to have the cleaner purchased ahead of time, so they sold me the product - at a profit to themselves. The worker only used a little bit of the product and gave the remainder in the container back to me. He didn't use his whole allotted time. I ended up doing the job over myself with a scrub brush and a hose using the remainder of the product in the container that I had to purchase.

The first visit did not go so well however a call to the office the next day resulted in someone coming out promptly to redo the job. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone seemed upset with me when I stated "I took off from work yesterday to have this done." He responded obviously upset with the statement and snappish stated "no one told you to take off from work, you were supposed to only get an estimate." The statement that no one told me to take off from work was very true. However I had no one way of knowing an initial visit was simply for an estimate. I would not use the company again because how I am spoken to is just as relevant as how a job is executed. I am employer and understand that employee fall short of the employer's expectations sometime, so I was not being rude or unreasonable. Once again kudos for Angie's List because in the event that something does go wrong it's usually corrected.

I had an odd mixture of tasks--check on an exterior security light to see why it wasn't working, install railings and grab bars to help make my home more accessible, replace the glass in an old window (that had been broken since I moved in), fix the sash cords, and assemble several shelving units in my garage (and move some to the basement). John listened to what I wanted and gave me options. He was willing to tell me what to buy so I could save on costs; I was prepared to get some, but not all and he was okay about that.. The price listed is what I paid them (it does not include items I bought like a grab bar and the shelves). He also was upfront about what he couldn't do (replace a missing muntin on a window). I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they could come to give me an estimate and then schedule the work. GIven the size of the job (and my past positive experience with them), I did not get multiple estimates. Once here on the actual day, John worked quickly and efficiently. There were no unexpected charges. I will note that a coupon I found in a mailer insert was a better deal (as a repeat customer since I had used the company once in the past) than the Angie's list discount so I would advise people looking around.

This was an Angie's Big Deal purchase. After some confusion in reaching each other for the initial contact, things seemed to go very smoothly. The provider was punctual, polite, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.

The appointment was set and kept. The company was very professional. We just decided to go a different direction.

The person came and did an inspection. I did not get to use the service, because the price seemed that it was going to be over $400 to job.

It was good. They provided a good quality services in a prompt manner. I don’t have any issues with them.

I purchased attic ladder install. However, I thought normal installation meant having a first time ladder (with me furnishing the ladder) installed. However the price for the job is for a replacement ladder. I fault myself for not getting all the info. The Handyman Connection people I spoke to were all very nice and professional sounding as I pushed for answer(sorry for being a pain Craig). I would not hesitate to call them in the future. Sorry to all for the mix up.

It went very well. He made a list as to the materials he would need. I went to Lowe's purchased them and arranged for delivery. The job was done well and in a timely manner.

Very pleased with result of repair work. Ron from Handyman Connection matched cedar wood piece and cut decorative wood to fit the area needing repair. In addiiton to repairing the trim, he also fixed some loose cement that was surrounding the frame on the front door step, which helped secure and seal the wood.

I spoke with Ashley and she told me she would get back to me and she never called me back.

Had a 2 hr "big deal" . They came out and took down a list and figured out what could be done in the 2 hrs. I had another thing I wanted down (nailing vents on the roof soffits). They checked with the office and gave me a quote for that. We set up a time for them to come back and do the work. Showed up that day with only the materials to do the "extra" job. So we had to reschedule the 2 hr work due to not having the right materials. So there was a bit of confusion in scheduling, but eventually able to get it all done. Good workmanship.

The service was excellent. The worker was really hard working.

I received an estimate which was much higher than other estimates I obtained. I chose not to use the company for this project for that reason.

The workman was on time and ready to work. He completed each task and moved on to the next while plaster was drying or paint drying. He cleaned the gutters and flushed them out with water. He did not leave a mess any where. He was good about offering helpful tips on various repair concerns. He identified several other problems that needed attention and called and got permission to do them while he was here. Workman is very cooperative and tries to please.

Excellent! He was on time and finished the job quickly. Price was very reasonable!!!
