Greg came in to clean up a mess we had with a larger painting service that did not want to complete the job over an extended time period as construction work was finished. We have had Greg in our house now several times for painting. He is always courterous and trustworthy to be in our home and we enjoy having him. He came in and finished the job on our schedule, no problem.

He did an excellent, beautiful job.

Greg is very professional. He is personable and worked quickly and cleaned up well. The dry wall repairs still show the flaw, but my husband says it's hard to get this perfect, given the texture differences that happen.

This painting job went very smoothly. Greg moved everthing that needed to be moved and put it back in place. This was a 5 day job and Greg left everything very neat before he finished for the day. Greg also helped with selecting the accent walls. We originally talked about doing two walls with an accent color but Greg then suggested we add a few more accent walls and the overall result was outstanding.

Greg was very reasonable in price but also very professional. We really liked Greg and were happy that while he brought other painters with him, he was here everyday with them. We also really liked the gentlemen he had painting with him. They were extremely professional and kind. We had just moved in so there were boxes everywhere and we also have a lab puppy that they had to be patient with. Greg even took her out for me one afternoon when she was sick! The painting looks absolutely beautiful and he did a wonderful job removing the wallpaper that was very difficult to work with. The only thing left is for him to come back and touch up the windows. If you need help selecting colors he is great with suggestions and will give his honest opinion if you pick something he thinks won't work. He was also flexible when I hated a color that I chose for our bathroom and we asked for it to be repainted.

We have a historic home in downtown Indy that always takes some TLC to deal with on any project, and we are extremely picky about who we contract for work and our expectations of finish level. This is the second time we have used Greg Mrakich and were again not disappointed. He was able to fit us in to his schedule in a very timely manner to keep our project moving. His price was in line with other estimates. We were painting a large cave of a room with dark colors which is always a pain, and Greg did a masterful job getting it to look beautiful. Greg came every day until the job was finished, as promised, and then came back after doors were hung, finish plumbing completed, home theater people finished, etc and did touch up, again fitting it into my schedule which was much appreciated. It seems as though we have had one problem after another getting this project completed, but Greg was the one part of the project that went smoothly from start to finish. We definitely plan to have Greg back for future projects.

He did it all for a very good price. He did a few minor repairs. He said it would take two days but got it done in one day. He charged me a great price, exactly what he quoted on. He told me he'd be there at four o'clock and was there exactly on time. He was true to his word and the quality of work was great.

Their service was wonderful. The original color was picked out by my husband and I hated it, but had to live with it. He chose a new color for me and I love it. He cleans up well and I never have to worry about it.

He is reliable, prompt, thorough, neat, and his prices are reasonable. He is the world's best painter.

He worked with me on when to start the project. Once started, he was able to progress well and finish the job in a reasonable time. He is engaging and interested in understanding the intent of the project and recommends products and services accordingly.

Greg is one of the best, if not the absolute best, contractor we have ever had work on our home. The space went from grungy to beautiful. The faux painted doors are amazing. The back of the closet door is still in the original wood, and the faux painting looks almost as real as the original. Not a drop of paint fell anyplace it was not supposed to be. Everything is cleaned up and put away, just as if he was working in his own home. Greg is efficient, honest to a fault and extremely talented. I would hire him to paint anything.

Greg's schedule was flexible and he was able to accommodate my schedule. He made one error, one cabinet wasn't painted. He came back immediately to 'get the job done!' His estimate and actual cost was less than half of the first estimate we received for the same work!

Greg came to my house to give me an estimate on our family room, staircase and alcove area. While he was here I also ask him to look at my kitchen that I had just painted but was not happy with the color. He talked to me about the colors he thought would look good and why. I ended up having him give me an estimate on the kitchen, too. I contacted Greg a few days later, Monday morning, and told him that I would like to have the kitchen done as soon as he could do it and the family room and additional areas in mid June. On Tuesday he dropped off paint colors for me to look at and scheduled a time to come back on Wednesday to look at the colors with me and to help me decide. He came back on Wednesday, was a great help picking out the right colors, went and picked up the paint and was back at my house Thursday morning. He painted the entire kitchen and eat-in area with two coats of paint, cleaned up and was gone by 6:30 p.m. Our kitchen looks great and he did a fantastic job! Greg is a great guy and I highly recommend him!

Greg came out and gave us an estimate. He was on time and very courteous. His estimate was almost exactly the same as another company. I decided to use another company due to speed, simplicity, and they would move all my furniture, fixtures, and mirrors for me (2 mirrors require at least 2 people). If I ever have a complex painting job (versus simple one color no thrills), I will definitely call Greg as his experience and passion for painting was evident.

Greg was great! The paint work was excellent! Greg takes a lot of pride in his work (and even came back and put on a third coat of paint at our request for no additional charge). The basement was not an easy paint job (a lot of trim, weird angles, etc.), but it looks great. I should also note that Greg helped me carry down a futon to the basement. He is just that nice of a guy.

Called 4 companies; 1 did not want job because of ceiling height. 2 gave estimates we simply couldn't afford. Greg's price was 1/2 of the other estimates, and he had very nice pictures of work he had done. He did a beautiful job for us, and we would certainly recommend him.

He is meticulous and thorough. He is worth the money to have him do the project. He does a great job! I also hired him to do an investment property. He hand scraped that as well and brush painted.

I liked their good work, reliability and price. No complaints. I was very pleased. Improved the overall appearance of the outside of my house which had not been painted in a long time. When I move in 2 or 3 years, he will be given an opportunity to paint the inside of my house.

We spoke several times in order to get the colors right and to set dates and times. I was out of town when the work started but when I came back home, the house looked brand new. I made a very late decision to change the door color and Greg was very accommodating with the color change. The color change along with his excellent work now makes the porch look like one of the best parts of the exterior, a complete change from when he started working. He helped guide me on a few color selections as well. I looked closely at some of the edging work, especially in places where there is no easy edge such as the caulk line around the garage. They did a fantastic job of making a straight line along the caulking where two of the colors met.

I hired a painter, but got so much more. Not only was Greg an outstanding painter, but also took on the role of general contractor and interior designer at no additional cost. Greg recommended a terrific carpenter who was able to complete the work I wanted done at a fraction of the cost what other carpenters wanted to charge. Greg also came up with nearly all of our design ideas (tearing out several walls, opening up our kitchen, and redoing the basement flooring, to name a few.) I cannot count the number of times I called Greg with a question or idea after working hours or on the weekend, and Greg was always happy to listen and offer his input. He actually truly cared that my wife and I were happy not only his work, but also with the house in general. Greg even spent an hour on a Sunday helping my wife and I select paint colors. I subscribed to Angie's List to find hidden gems like Greg; I only wish I had found him before I spent time getting estimates from other painters.

Greg arrived on time, prepped each room, taped, and placed protective coverings on furniture, carpeting. Techniques used accomplished the desired results. Clean up each day was very thorough and the next day preparation continued as the first day. I was thoroughly satisfied with the work, price and the final product.

Greg more than exceeded my high expectations. Both rooms are beautiful. The garage looks great. Not a single drop of paint ended up in the wrong place. Greg approaches his work in a professional manner, and it was a pleasure doing business with him. He also provided an estimate without a hint of sexism. There was never a suggestion that my husband needed to approve any decision I might make. The price above is for all three jobs. While Greg was somewhat more expensive than some of the other estimates for the master suite job, he also had far more experience with historic homes and painting with oil. I feel that I got even more than I paid for. This kind of quality is worth every penny. I will definitely hire him again.
