Description of Work: I take my car to Glendale Automotive for service. We were having engine issues so we had them fix it.

Description of Work: The group at Glendale Automotive provided a great experience for a first time customer. I dropped my car off on Tuesday night with the knowledge I was behind a few customers in line for diagnosis. They replaced my front sway bar, brakes, and I asked for a 90,000 mile service on top of that. I received a call late afternoon Wednesday with a diagnosis and breakdown of service needed. As I am not a car guy they gave a very thorough layman explanation of the service needing done and stated my car wouldn't be done until Friday due to other customers and parts needed. I got a call Thursday afternoon that my car was ready after they did a little schedule maneuvering and went to pick up the parts at the dealer to help me out as I was stuck without a vehicle. Everything works great and the work was as described and at a fair price for the job done. I would definiately return to them for future service.

Description of Work: Dropped of my car, and Fred was honest enough to tell me that it wouldn't be worth my money to fix it in it's current state. He could have easily just fixed a couple of things to get me back on the road, and collected some cash from me, but he opted not to. Great guy, great operation...the gal in the front office called the morning after I dropped it off to confirm my info, and get details from me. I will certainly be taking my other car into them in the future. My search for a mechanic is over.

Description of Work: I made an appointment a week ahead. The "Check engine" light was on. I had already gone to Auto Zone to have a code readout and gave this to the mechanic when I dropped the car off. I live alone with no way to get to work 2 miles away. The office administrator had offered to drive me to work when I made the appointment. I would have to find my own way back that evening. I was to get a call on what work would be done and an estimate before they started any repairs. However, when I called an hour before they closed to ask why I hadn't heard anything, they said they had not looked at my car yet and would look at my car the next day. I told them I was not happy as I had made the appointment a week ahead so expected they would have at least determined what was to be done and given me an estimate. I told them I needed my car for work during most work days and didn't have access to a 2nd one. I told the manager that a co-worker was bringing me in an hour to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived the owner was there and told me they had looked at my car and did the work (cleaned a part that regulates fuel input) and that I would only be charged their basic $80 estimate fee and not anything for labor because of my inconvenience.

Description of Work: We brought there our car with a noise problem. They have called back at the same afternoon and gave a description of the problem and a price to fix it. We decided to rather not get it fixed right away and went to pick it up. They did not charged us for checking it but gave us an detailed sheet of the expenses if we decide to do it, and calculated an Angie's list discount in it without we mentioning it, but they kept our data from our last issue. They have a professional administration and also technical job. Thank you.

Description of Work: Glendale Automotive was great in every aspect. They completed the work on time and at a good price. My brakes were a bit squeaky after I took the car home, but when I let them know about it they brought me in the next day and performed the additional work at no cost. They're polite and courteous through every step of the process.

Description of Work: Fixed throttle senser two weeks ago. Check engine light came on last week but did not return after two hours. Took care back anyway. Instead of taking advantage of engine light, assured me car is OK but still told me to come back if I see the check engine light again. And they didn't bill me for the second trip today!

Description of Work: I took my SUV into Glendale Automotive for a new battery. It was pulling to one side, it needed a tail light and oil change, and it had a loud exhaust. I also wanted the brakes checked. Fred changed the battery, changed the oil, and the tail light, and cleaned up the brakes. He told me it needed new tires which is why it was pulling to one side. The brakes were ok, but it also needed new hoses and catalytic converters. Fred said it would run very smoothly, and it does. As for the price...I just don't know. I did not get a second opinion because I have only one car and I needed it fixed ASAP. I just trusted him on it. I gave him an A on price due to his reputation, but I don't just don't know if it was a good price or not. Fred did say to let him know if there was anything at all that was not right, and he'd take care of it.
