They were all very nice. When the mechanic was through he came in and talked to me, he was very knowledgeable. I didn't have my Angie's List coupon with me, but he gave me the 10% discount anyway. I was pleased with their service and their price.

We dropped off the car without an appointment and they were able to get back to us with an estimate by the next morning. We already had an idea of what it would cost from doing a web search, and the owner admitted to being shocked at the cost of a used rear axle! The car was ready by the end of the week and our son reports that it drives like a new car!

Job 1: The job went extremely well. I have a 3/4 ton (2500) four wheel drive Suburban. Not only does the owner and workers know a lot about cars, but they are extremely knowledgeable about trucks as well. I have on the big, press on front rotors, not the kind that slide on and off. We installed very quality rotors and pads. Job 2: It was pouring down rain. I had my children in the car. I had a very small issue with my car and pulled into Glendale Automotive. I didn't have time to wait around but I needed my car issue fixed. I walked into the office to find the owner, Fred in there ready to help me. I explained to him my situation. He came right out to my car, fixed the problem, I settled up with him and I was on my merry way. This type of service at an auto repair center was VERY REFRESHING! This auto service center is truly a gem right here in Indy. They took care of me & didn't over charge me. I was very pleased to have stopped in there.

They were having a hard time duplicating the problem. The nice thing about them is that they got me in right away even though they normally have a waiting list. The price was fantastic. We had to go out of town and he didn't mind us leaving it there for a week. When it was all done, he said since they didn't actually fix the issue we were able to negotiate some on the price. I was happy with them.

I feel significantly less fearful for death while driving now. Thanks Fred!

Many places would have replaced the starter and I would have spent close to $300.00. They saved me lots of money by performing only the necessary repairs.

Overall, the experience was great! I was frustrated with the local dealership so I researched Angie's List for a creditable company. The reps at Glendale were friendly, honest, reasonably priced. Yes, replacing timing belts is an expensive job for anyone.

Fred and his crew always perform to the level that I have come to expect from them over the years. He always calls with a cost estimate before performing the work and points out other potential issues that could be problematic or eventually become a more significant repair down the road. I would highly recommend their shop for general auto repair services.

Took my 2001 Impala for an oil change and asked to check for a coolant leak as I had to add client a couple of times in last three months. Found that the lower intake valve was bad and I had it replaced. Went very smoothly and was very satisfied with the work. I took the car in on a Friday and needed back by Monday so they came in over the weekend to finish the job. Have used them before a couple of months ago for a repair on my husband's car and had a very good experience then as well.

Got car in the same day and fixed it so we could travel on the holiday weekend with no car worries.

Mike has worked on my car the past couple of times it has been in to the shop. He is great. I had done some research knowing it was the starter to get an idea of solutions, cost ect. I went in to discuss all solutions and alternatives before they went ahead with the work. Mike knew everything I was talking about including other common problems I had learned in my own research. He made suggestions on how to prolong the life on my old car and what he would do. I think the best thing I can say about the experience is this: His advice was for me was not to spend more money!!! I completely trust them in their ability to diagnose and repair.

I highly recommend Glendale Automotive for car repairs. They strive to see that customers are satisfied. I will hire them again in the future. Great choice for parents with area college students.

My truck now has over 200,000 miles and it may make it another 50,000. It is nice to have a repair place that I can count on. I liked their explanations about what to expect. They are so busy, but the price of success. Schedule an appointment.

Service was prompt and cost was less than expected. I forgot to tell them I was an Angie's member list and after having already paid, I was asked. When I replied that I was, they credited my charge card for the discount.

They did the work in half a day and were very accommodating of our need to pick up the car after hours. Once the car was serviced, there was an issue with the car not starting properly. We called them and they had us bring the car back in. It turns out they replaced the spark plugs with a non-manufacturer recommended brand and that was the problem. They did the work for free, as expected, and were very apologetic about the mix-up. Their willingness to correct the problem is a big plus and I will definitely use them again.

Fred was very helpful and insightful from the first phone call. Although we had to wait a few days to get our vehicle serviced, once our vehicle was in their possession the repairs were conducted rather quickly. When it turned out that the repairs that were made did not completely correct the problem, Fred had us return the vehicle for additional service. We were then charged for only parts and not labor. Our vehicle is used for business and is vital to our success. Fred understood this and responded as quickly as possible.

These guys are great. They are up front, specific, helpful, patient, and as on time as they can manage to be considering the unexpected quirks that pop up due to the nature of their business. Had I gone to a less trustworthy enterprise, I am sure I could have gotten socked for a lot more money when I took my truck in for the once-over (I admitted how long it had been!). What a pleasant surprise! When I took in my damaged tire, they assured me they would try to fix it, but they cautioned that it might not be possible. Considering the visible damage to the tire, I was not surprised at this assessment, but I appreciated their offer to try. They also said that if I needed a new tire, they couldn't promise that they could locate one that would match the rest of the set. In fact, they told me that a match was unlikely. As it turned out, they went the extra mile to find a match and found one.

Everyone very polite. Fred and Mike very responsive, and Paul was kind enough to act as chauffeur when a part was delayed. I will return.

When the mechanic could not determine the cause of the "Check Engine" warning light, he asked to keep it a day longer to have a person with more expertise look at it. This person determined it was an emissions problem and repairs were then made. Angie's Discount was given without a reminder.

I thought Fred went out of his way to help me. The team kept me up to date on their progress and efforts. This is an honest operation.

Fred was great - found that the problem with steering was because tires were improperly mounted. Explained clearly and honestly that he was not well suited to finding an apparent short or loose wire in the electrical system that caused the dash lights to go out, and gave me a recommendation for someone who could. All this done in less than a day - I was surprised and very pleased with Fred's service, competence and honesty.

They did a really good job. They priced it fairly and were honest.
