He just dropped what he was doing to come out and look over my car and tell me what he needed to do and how much it was going to be and when he could start on it. He and his wife were very accommodating in helping us out by giving us a lift to and from our home. My husband and I were very pleased with the way he made our car finish look all perfect again. I will recommend him in a heartbeat.

This was the first time I had used their service. They told me exactly what was wrong and what it was going to cost. They were honest with me about the work they were doing and they did try to fix thing that didn't need to be fixed.

I was pleased that they recognized that the problem involved the electrical system and did not just add freon. They also checked with the company that provided the extended warranty on the car and negotiated partial coverage of the expense through the warranty.

I had heard from friends that Glendale Automotive was a great place to take your car for repairs. They were 100% correct! My 11 year old Honda was making a terrible popping sound when I turned the wheel. I knew it was not a good sound. I wanted to make sure I got the problem fixed at a good price. I am new to Angie's List and saw that Glendale Automotive received a very high rating. I stopped by the shop on a Wednesday and explained the problem. Fred Kuhn, the owner, was extremely professional. He estimated what the problem was and the estimated cost. They were able to work on the car on Friday. I dropped it off Thursday evening so they could start on it first thing in the morning. I received a call from Fred around Noon. It was great news. The problem was less than what had been estimated and my car was ready. Fred, and his crew, were outstanding. They fixed my car on time and the cost was less than what I was expecting. They were friendly, professional and very trustworthy. Fred even gave me the heads up on some things to be aware of for further work down the road. I will return to Glendale Automotive for all of my auto needs and will let others know about this great place. I am thrilled to have my Honda back and running like new!

It went pretty well. When I picked up the vehicle I didn't think the brakes felt the way they were supposed to, but they assured me that once I had driven it a few hundred miles they would be broken in, which held true. I wouldn't say I would recommend them highly, but not because they did poor service. They are good, but not exceptional.

I had a check engine light on and went to AutoZone to find out what the problem was. AutoZone told me the problem was the O2 sensor. I took it to Glendale Automotive because I saw a good comment from a customer on an Angie's List pamphlet. I also found that a friend of mine works there who I know does good work, also. I am glad to say that this company is very honest and fair. When I went to pick up the car, they told me that the O2 sensor was just unplugged and they charged me nothing. I would recommend this company to others.

It was great. I would give them an A. The car was in for routine maintenance. They went over the car thoroughly and they identified that they needed to do some work on the brakes. They did the work completely and on time. I've gotten excellent service from them throughout the years. They don't try to make more money. They only do the things that are essential.

I made an appointment to get an estimate because I was not sure what was wrong with my car. It sounded terrible! One of the mechanics drove around with me for a few blocks and listened to the sound. It was a relief when he told me that my car was not making a "death noise." Phew! But, my check engine light had been on for awhile and he said they would run a diagnostic on it and include din the estimate the cost for two new tires, rotation, blancing and an oil change. Initially, the cost was $770 becuase an oxygen sensor needed to be replaced; but, I could not afford that right now. Fred said I could still have a safe, well-running car without the O2 sensor and those labor costs. So, we settled on the price and they had my car ready for me first thing the next morning. Plus, I received 10% off labor costs for being an Angie's List member. They were very helpful. I didn't feel like I was being swindled which is a nice change of pace being a single, twenty-something woman.

Fred wasn't able to look at the truck due to the fact his shop was having a lift installed, but he was kind enough to recommend someone else he knew that was reputable and that he would recommend. Fred was very polite and his courtesy makes it plain why he has so many great reports. We will definitely use him in the future.

I dealt with the owner. He was fair and had good prices. They checked everything thoroughly and were timely and very efficient. It was a great experience!

I am appreciative of the time and effort this company's employees took to determine the cause of the "noise" my car was making. I couldn't be happier that they were able to make the repair.

I about died when Fred said it would cost $750.00 to fix my 2003 Taurus. But, he has always done a great job for me and my MOM so I said OK. My car now just hums along -- runs as efficiently as a sewing machine, so Fred really knew what he was talking about. This company is HONEST. They care a lot about INTEGRITY. They are well-grounded in the local community, and if he did a bad job everyone would know -- believe me, my mom would call the 500+ people she knows. BUT he has always done great work, and gives the Angie's List discount cheerfully. If Fred says it needs to be done, he isn't pulling your leg.
