It was very expensive. They were here forever. They screwed up. I told them they had to do it over, because they had the flames coming out of the fireplace. They were very nice, but not too swift. They were very polite and very clean and neat.

Shaunna, my wife, and I gave Gas Line Specialities $2,000.00 in cash to purchase all the equipment and to complete the job. I did not hear back from them for over a month. After calling and leaving multiple messages another month went by until we got a phone call from their representative. He apologized and said they would be out to my house ASAP. That was over 6 months ago and they have never been to my home. The phone number that I had for them was changed (317 862-1932). I just learned that they were on Angie's List. I tried calling the new phone number and it has been busy and I have had no success getting through to them. We have two small children and our furnace went out over the weekend. If we would had gotten the gas logs as promised by Gas Line Specialities, our family would not be suffering at this time.

The two men who came were very polite and very nice, but it took them a long time to figure out how to get the gas log installed. When they finished, they asked me if I liked the result but I was unhappy with how they placed the log so that the fire was coming out of the front instead of up the flue. They were very kind, but the overall service was mixed. When they finally got it finished it was very good.

Two men came out one day and tore up my deck leaving nails upturned when I have children and pets. They couldn't find anything. They came back the next day while I was at work. I told them not to do any repair work without consulting me. In the end they turned a valve off and charged me nearly $1000 to do so because and quot;they are experts.and quot; Plenty of cigarette butts were left behind for us to clean up. I would never use them again.

It didn't go. They never called me back. They don't want Angie's List members as customers.

Originally left a message and received a call back, the same day, regarding an evaluation of a gas fireplace problem. They took my information and promised a call back after the first of the year. After not hearing from them, I again left a message. I have yet to receive a return call.

we were very pleased with the quickness of the service and the quality of the repair. I was also impressed that they observed the entire installation and found something that could cause us an issue down the road and fixed that at the same time. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

I requested a quote from Gas Line Specialties here on Angie's List. They never got in touch with me so I requested a quote directly from their website. I received an email from them the next day with a very reasonable price but it was a very brief message and contained no contact information. I emailed back asking to schedule the set up for that day. They did not reply. The next day, I looked up their number online and called them directly. They did not answer so I left a voicemail. It is now 2 days later and they still have not returned my call. Very unprofessional. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Overall I was very satisfied with the work and their professionalism. I would use them again and would have no problem recommending them to other people.

They were fine. They came out the same day.

Mike and Nick are awesome. They arrived promptly for the initial appointment to assess what needed to be done. Provided me a very reasonable quote, and returned promptly on the appointed day to extend the gas line, and install the cook top I had purchased. They were efficient and professional. They installed the cook top, insured there were no leaks, and checked that all was operating well. These two guys are great...hard working, pleasant, professional, and affordable. Nick had a bad cold, and still showed up and completed the job. I highly recommend them!

It experience was very good. There is nothing negative to report. I would use this company again.

The work was done promptly, and it was obvious there was a focus on quality. The team thought about options for the job and picked options that would have the least impact on the home. Additional features, such as shut offs, were installed. My home has a unique and convoluted design and I was impressed with their ability to adapt. The work was done in two sessions because of the length of the project... during the first session, they did the interior work to get gas to the kitchen and laundry area. During the second session, they did the work to get gas to the fireplace, which required mostly exterior work. They provided a free fire/log starter to compensate me for this (though no compensation for this was needed). When the job was complete, it was reviewed with and explained to me in detail. The team was exceptionally pleasant to deal with and I will be doing business with them again in the future. The work is of high quality and was provided at a reasonable price.

The were VERY punctual and suggested installing a shorter line, which saved us money as well. They also said that if I had any problems with the line, they would fix it, regardless of how old it was.

I did not shop around. The price seemed reasonable but I think I could have found the service cheaper. I had no issues and they answered all my questions. They came when they said they would.

Nick was quick to come out and give us a quote. He was very knowledgable and really listened to what we wanted. We were able to get the project done quickly and it looks great! Now we are in the process of finishing our basement and don't have all these extra pipes hanging down from the ceiling and out of the walls.

They had earlier provided a quote for the job which was $300. The actual bill was almost double of that. I was a little disappointed with that. I had called and told them to come on a week day so that they would not charge me extra for coming during a weekend. But, they said they would not charge me extra. My overall experience with them was ok. I also told them that the gas line should be around ten to fifteen feet and it should be taken through a cabinet. But they did not want to do that. They wanted to dig the yard and install it in that way which was twenty to twenty five feet for which they charged me double.

My mom was very impressed with Nick's honesty and took his advice to not spend more money replacing the doors to the fireplace, because it was not necessary. She was nervous to order out of magazine, but it was half the cost of showrooms she had visited, so went with Nick's suggstions. He was right on and the logs look beautiful.

Mike and Nick came out to give me a free estimate to replace a buried gas line that was improperly installed (by another company) and corroded. We scheduled a service date and they came out on time and installed gas line in a matter of a few hours. They did the work like they were doing it for their own home.

HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT HE WAS DOING AND WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR. HE WAS VERY PROMPT. HE SHOWED UP EVEN BEFORE HE SAID HE SAID HE WOULD. THE OWNER, MIKE, FINISHED UP ANOTHER JOB EARLY AND CAME BY TO HELP US OUT BECAUSE HE KNEW IT WOULD BE A CRITICAL SITUATION IF WE HAD A GAS LEAK. HE WAS VERY GOOD.

EXCELLENT WORK AT A REASONABLE PRICE. GREAT ATTITUDE TOO! MIKE PONSLER IS VERY GOOD AT HIS WORK AND IS A SUPER NICE GUY. HE IS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. AT A PREVIOUS RESIDENCE, GAS LINE SPECIALISTS DID OTHER GOOD WORK SUCH AS INSTALLATION OF A GARAGE GAS HEATER AND INSTALLING A NATURAL GAS LINE FOR A GAS GRILL.

I WAS SO IMPRESSED BY THE QUALITY OF SERVICE,TIMELINESS, AND OVERALL INTERACTION WITH THIS COMPANY THAT I DECIDED TO JOIN ANGIES LIST SO I COULD REPORT ON THEM.
