Great experience. I needed springs on garage adjusted. He explained the procedure. Was very pleasant. I definitely recommend.

The technician was very courteous and helpful. He explained what the service covered and what wasn't. In addition to performing the tune-up, he fixed a minor issue with the garage door opener (door wasn't coming down). He explained to me what was wrong (sensors weren't aligned) so I know how to prevent the same thing from happening again. I'm very happy with the service and will definitely use them in the future for any service needs.

I sent Garage Door Dr. a message, over the weekend, via Angie's List, to schedule a service call. They called me Monday morning and scheduled a technician for Monday afternoon. Brent arrived on time and performed the repair in 45 minutes. He was thorough, professional and courteous. I was very please with his demeanor, attitude and services. I would use them again.

Mike called as I had been told he would when he was on his way. He got to my house asked a question and knew immediately what it was. He also looked my opener over and showed me areas to watch and areas that are the main items to need replacement. He worked his magic and I was thrilled. I even have a 90 day guarantee.

They gave me a window when they would arrive and then the technician called to give me an estimated precise time of arrival. He was friendly and very competent and responded to all my questions. I was very impressed with his service and the door is working fine now.

Scheduling mishap, but they made it right. Called on Wednesday and received appointment for Thursday between 1-3pm. I waited until 240pm on Thursday to call to ask where they were. I found out that I was not scheduled at all, and then even questioned about it if I really called them or some other company. That, I admit ,really bothered me. They went ahead and scheduled me same day, 4-6pm. After that was set, I went looking for the number and I found it and called it, and yes, it was this company. I had in fact called the right number on the first call. Later the manager called and told my wife that a new employee had taken my first call and somehow I never made it into the system. He was very apologetic and included an additional 5% discount on top of the 10% AngiesList discount. I was not even aware of the AngiesList discount, that in its self was worth it. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND I WAS VERY SATISFIED. The tech was thorough and explained all the aspects of my system and inspected all the parts and then performed the work efficiently . I highly recommended Garage Door Doctor and would call them again without question.

Wonderful company. Mike worked quickly and very efficiently. He explained the problem in great detail before beginning the work and answered all questions. He also made some helpful suggestions for future improvements we could do. Excellent service!

My garage door was not closing evenly, there was a 1/2 inch gap on one side. The technician came out and diagnosed the problem within minutes and thirty minutes later the problem was fixed. I was given an estimate before the work was started and he didn't try to up-sell me on anything. Some other companies in the area will charge you $65 just to look at your garage door and then will try to tell you that you need additional items(that are not necessary). Estimates should always be free!!

Called Garage Docs. Monday aftn. and they put me on the schedule to come the next day. John showed up early and went straight to work. John did the repair work in less than an hour and reccomended how an upgrade would improve the safety of my garage door (extension vrs. coil ). When I'm ready for my upgrade it will be with the Garage Door Doctors and I'll be requesting John, as well.

Our garage door broke yesterday and we thought it would be the spring. We called Garage Door Doctor and they came out within an hour and a half and confirmed that the spring was broken. They fixed the spring in less than an hour. We knew that our garage door opener was getting old, even though it still works, so we asked about the cost of replacing it before it completely breaks down. The cost was reasonable and we made an appointment for them to come back on Monday to replace the opener as well. Overall, we were extremely happy with the promptness of the service the accuracy and quality of it, and the general friendliness of the entire staff with whom we worked. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had with an Angie's List business. And I've had many good experiences! After they install the garage door opener I will place another review here to see how that goes as well.

We came home from a trip to a broken garage door and called the Garage Door Doctor on a Saturday afternoon and the gentleman on the phone was courteous and gave me a one hour time frame that was just a few hours away. He pointed out that they are open on Saturday and there was no service call charge and they would quote me a price BEFORE they did the work. We agreed on the time and a few hours later (within the time frame), a gentleman was at my door ready to service. Within 30 seconds of being there, he diagnosed the broken spring and quoted me $159 less the Angie's List 10% discount. He showed me what work needed to be done and said he would be done within half an hour. Surely enough, half an hour later, he was finished, showed me what he had done, explained the charges, the warranty, and asked if I had any questions. He even was able to take my payment with a card reader and was finished in a heartbeat. He was professional, engaging, and knowledgeable. He never tried to upsell me or tell me that any other work needed to be finished. Overall, I am very happy that Garage Door Doctor came and fixed our garage door. I am impressed with the price and level of service. Glad to have someone to call when there is an issue in the future!

This company is a great alternative to the larger garage door providers. Brent was very responsive, thorough, and professional. I could tell he really knew what he was doing. He thoroughly explained the fixes he was going to make beforehand without trying to sell me additional services I didn't need. In addition to the repairs, he adjusted the force on the door and demonstrated the safety test. I will definitely use this company again.

It was done efficiently and quickly.

The spring broke on a Sunday morning. I got on AL, found this company, called and spoke to Jeff. Within 5 minutes he called me back, said he'd be over within about 45 minutes and arrive a half hour later. He assessed the problem and had it fixed in about a half hour. He also fixed the light that has never worked on the opener. He solved my problem and made me no longer a prisoner in my home.

When I first called the earliest they could come out was 2pm and I really needed someone sooner, but placed the appointment because 2pm was earlier then any other company had quoted me. 20 minutes later I got a call from one of the companies supervisors who said he was in the neighborhood and could be at my house in 30 minutes! He arrived performed the work, gave me my Angie's list discount and the whole call took about 25-30 minutes at most. I was very pleased.

From the time I phoned Garage Door Doctors until the minute the job was completed, I had nothing but a positive and clearly communicated experience. I phoned the GDD office a bit after 9am, after trying to coordinate how to get out of my garage, and was told that a service technician would arrive between 12pm and 2pm the same day. The service technician, Mike, phoned about 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way and once to my home spent approximately 40 minutes performing the necessary repairs. Mike explained exactly what would be needed to make our system functional and the costs involved. He was incredibly polite, kind to my two excessively barking dogs, and completed the repairs in a timely and neat fashion. I highly recommend their service.

He asked around and called around to other technicians and found out that my type of door could not be repaired. He is going to get back with me about the cost of a replacement door. He did not charge for this service.

He arrived on time on friday, evaluated the situation. Arranged to replace the opener on saturday--arrived early on saturday after calling to check it was okay. installed the opener within 90 minutes. Explained everything prior to work. Good job, very helpful.

Jon was awesome....he didn't try to oversell...inspected the doors and did what I asked. We went through the winter without garage door capability and am relieved that it's now fixed; also happy that he didn't give us any bad news, but fixed the issues at hand. Definitely knew what he was talking about...highly recommend them.

The service manager showed up the day I was scheduled and did a great job. He came back the next day to finish up one piece of it. He was very nice and very knowledgeable.
