We were so pleased with Danny and his crew. Matt came out to provide an estimate and it was clear based on what we were asking the company to do, which included correcting a few of our home builder's screw ups, that they knew what qualified as a professional job and how to complete them. Danny kept in close contact returning phone calls quickly as we needed to make a few adjustments to our original job list. The weather was iffy and Danny kept us posted on when they would be abel to get started. The painters showed up right on time. Everyone was respectful and the final result was really well done and ended with a walk through with Matt to make sure we were pleased. He even pointed out a few things they did that improved the work which we hadn't even asked them to do. We would totally hire Danny and his crew again.

My husband and I thought we could treat/stain/weatherproof our cedar decking railing (with Trek Decking) all by ourselves. After starting/stopping, rain delays, we realized we couldn't. I started searching Angie's list for Deck Services and happen to come across Danny's page. I also saw his car with fun neon advertising on the side for his company on my way home. I figured it was a sign that I should call him. I did and he came out that night to estimate the job. The deck is 16 x 20 with cedar railing all around. His crew would have to powerwash and try to remove what we had already started. While his estimate of 1350.00 seemed high, we did not compare with other companies - we were just so happy to have someone respond in such a fast manner. That seems hard to find these days. We agreed to use Danny and he wrote up the estimate on his ipad and emailed a receipt on the spot - something else that I was impressed that other contracting companies cannot seem to figure out. Two days later, his crew showed up, moved our patio furniture, powerwashed the deck, sanded, stained and moved the patio back. Danny even picked out the paint to use. The job was complete in less than two days and it looks great! No mess, no cleanup, it was as if no one was there at all. What I was impressed with was all the phone calls and updates I received from Danny. He called to let me know what time his crew was showing up, when they got there, what they did and to call him with questions. When the job was complete, Danny called to set up a walk -through appointment to see if we were satisfied with the job (before payment) and if we had any questions. So impressive. We are also trying to build a brick patio paver. In comparison the job will cost around 16K - we cannot seem to get those people to call us back. My point is that no matter the job - big or small - his responsiveness, customer service and sheer proud of his crew and company to do a good job won my business. I would definitely recommend and use Danny again. Our favorite quote from him "next time you want to something on your own (as we laugh),...just call me first". My husband and I selected Danny's Pro Painters to paint the first floor of our home, including built-in book cases in our living room. We selected him based on his candid estimate and his promise to complete the project in 1-2 days. Danny and his team exceeded our expectations! On the morning of the job, Danny showed up with 8-10 associates who immediately began prepping the work area (removing blinds, sanding the banister, moving furniture, etc). In fact, they arrived before I started work for the day and completed the projected approximately 1 hour after I returned home. We couldn't have been more impressed. In addition to the free-handed trim work, they also patched and sanded ALL of our walls. Our home is over 15 years old and I was concerned about how unsightly a fresh coat of paint would look on the worn walls. Trust me when I say I felt like I walked into a brand new house when I came back from work! Not only did they patch nail holes and minor gouges, but they also patched larger holes from surround sound speakers that we removed. My husband's biggest concern was the amount of time that it would take to finish the project. We had received another estimate from a local painter who projected a 5-6 day completion time. Danny and his team finished our living room (and built -in book cases), kitchen, laundry room, den, dining room, sitting room, and half bath in approximately 13 hours. Further, he happily agreed to send two team members back the next week to complete minor touch-ups that we identified after the paint had dried. In addition to the painting, we also had Danny resand and stain our banister - which was in pretty bad shape. The previous owner had put on a clear coat that was chipping badly. Although I pre-selected all of the paints for our downstairs project, I was unsure of what type of stain that would be needed for the banister since I was unsure of what type of wood it was and how that would affect the color. Danny personally assisted us in selecting a stain that would enhance the wood and coordinate with our current floors and doors. The color was amazing and our entryway flowed much better with the banister refinished. Throughout the project Danny was very cordial and engaging - he quickly developed a great rapport with my husband. He also took the time to explain the process and frequently asked if we were happy with how it was coming. His staff were also very professional and thorough. My husband and I are looking forward to working with Danny again on other projects such as our deck and exterior painting. I would give his company a very strong endorsement.

My husband and I removed old wallpaper in the kitchen with a steamer. We got all the wallpaper down, but it left the walls a mess. I'm also in the process of painting the whole house, and there some rooms that are difficult for me to do myself. The walls in the stairwells are two stories tall and the master bath and bedroom have cathedral ceilings. We found Danny on Angie's List and called for an estimate. He showed up for the appointment on time, he was thorough in his estimate, polite and interested in the project. He gave us a good deal even worked with my schedule to get the project booked right away. Danny and his team showed up at 8:00, explained the plan for the day, and worked until 6:00. The next day, a huge team showed up before 8:00 and worked all day until around 7:00. The project was estimated to take four days to complete and they got it done in two, which gave me two days of vacation back! The job looked perfect. Not a drop out of place on anything. This was a big concern for me because we just had all new hard wood floors put in and I didn't want any paint mishaps to damage the floors. They were mindful of the furniture and electronics and very careful with the floors. Hi team was very polite and hardworking. They spent the last hour of each day cleaning up so I had very little to do after everything was done. Danny and his brother checked in with me during the project to ask questions about how we wanted something done, to ask for feedback, to check on the progress, etc. He inspected the job himself as the team was finishing up and even called later in the week to see if we were happy. Danny and his team did a wonderful job. It was a good price on a big project (drywall repair - yuck!), and they did it quickly and perfectly. They were punctual and polite. I would recommend them to anyone and we will certainly end up using them again in the future!

I was looking for quality service and attention to detail. I found it with Danny's Pro Painters (thanks to Angie's list). They caulked every crack and every nail hole (and I mean EVERY one); they repaired or replaced every board that had damage. They used quality products. The crew arrived when expected, worked very long and very hard, and cleaned up meticulously before leaving the site. Danny phoned multiple times to ensure I was happy and to ask if I had any questions. They did everything I requested, and Danny even had an excellent suggestion I had not thought of that ended up making the entrance to the home look larger and more appealing. Danny's is not a cheap service by any means, but you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny. The house looks awesome. They stand by and guarantee their work for three years. I've already booked them to paint the interior.

The painters showed up promptly on the agreed upon date and time. The interior work involved a lot of detail and was addressed very, very well. The painters employed their expertise very effectively resulting in a superior finished product. The front door and sidelights proved to be a bit difficult. The stripping and sanding went as expected. Coming up with the stain color desired required some extra effort. The first stain used resulted in a too dark appearance. The painters restriped the door and Danny himself came promptly to participate in developing the color desired. Danny stayed with the job until the first coat of stain was applied and found to be the desired result. Although the repair of the front door and side lights required extra work, Danny did not hesitate to oversee the work and personally made sure the customer was pleased with the result. There were no additional charges. The areas of work were cleaned up very well and we are very pleased with our experience with Danny's Pro Painters. They are very knowledgeable and considerate of the customers home relative to minimizing dust and dirt. We would not hesitate to use them again. Our experience showed that to get a superior painting result, it takes superior painters. Danny's Pro Painters are very professional and deliver superior results.

I would recommend Danny's pro painters to anyone. I found Danny on Angie's List and arranged a meeting for an estimate the same week. Estimator arrived on time and provided a timely quote with a breakdown of the job. Danny's crew arrived on time on the scheduled start date and started working immediately. They did a very thorough and high quality job completing all the aforementioned work. The exterior of my house had been neglected for a long time making the job more difficult than it appeared. I was contacted by Danny everyday of the 4 day job (we had a few rain delays) to make sure the work was meeting my satisfaction. The finished work and process exceeded my expectations. THE HOUSE: 1919 Cedar Shake cottage. Lots of peeling paint on trim and weather stained cedar. THE JOB: Paint all exterior doors and trim, stain cedar shake siding with semi-transparent stain. A good painter understands the largest factor in obtaining a great finish with long lasting results is preparation of the surface to be painted. All professional painters will talk about this when presenting a proposal; rarely do the very same companies do what they know is required. We have worked with numerous painting contractors and not one has even come close to the level of prep work that Danny?s crews put into this job. STAIN PREP: We were nervous about this?. Having cedar shakes power washed is a delicate process but necessary for the uniform look of a semi-transparent stain. The crew was very cautious and did not rush the job. My neighbor, after returning from work the day the power washing was completed, asked if we had new siding put up! TRIM PREP: Before one drop of paint went up, all surfaces were power washed and then scraped of loose paint. Due to the age of the house, the prep in many areas left exposed wood after the prep. Those areas were spot primed. CAULKING: Another fantastic job. This is critical, as a poor caulk job will allow water to intrude behind and under window frames and trim and rot from the inside out. I can?t find any areas that were overlooked. Even unexposed areas in the screened porch were caulked for cosmetic purposes. PRODUCT: There is a reason some products cost twice as much as there big box counter parts ? I have painted personally long enough to understand the difference why. PERSONAL ADVICE: If you are spending thousands of dollars for work to be performed, make sure your contractor specifies and USES the best products available ? especially for exterior work. The price of the product may be twice as much, but only a small percentage of the overall cost of the job. We have used painting contractors in the past that assured us they were using specific products ? but when the crew showed up, they were using ?contractor grade? supplies. Danny specified top of the line caulk, paint, and stain products, but more importantly - he showed up with the material that was specified. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: From the onset, Danny was very responsive. We requested a proposal in late spring (a very busy time for painters) and had a proposal in hand the same day. Danny touched base every day during the job to insure we were happy with the progress. The painters were courteous, hard working, and very neat. A large area of the house to be stained was above a newly installed IPE deck. His crew took the time to lay down tarps and rosin paper to absorb any drips or spatter. I didn?t find any drips on the deck. I never write reviews (sorry members). The fact that I have written this should speak volumes about the level of confidence I have in Danny and his crews.

The paint job (our house) was beautiful. We are very happy with the results. Danny, Jose, and the rest of the crew were all polite, hard workers. They did quality work, and clean-up was excellent. Very good painters. They did some carpentry to repair a shed as well. We are quite pleased with the job.

Danny was extremely responsive from the first phone call. He was prompt when coming to estimate the costs of the job and was very clear about the high-quality products they use and what would be included in the job.. On painting day they arrived ahead of schedule and confirmed paint colors before beginning then prep work. Danny checked in throughout the day to see how the job was going. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the crew (5 painters) and how well they cleaned up after the job. The finished product exceeded my expectations--our house looks new again!

I could not say enough wonderful things about the responsiveness, competence, and professionalism of Danny's entire group. I left a voicemail on a Saturday morning inquiring about their services and Danny called me back just a few hours later. We gave them very little notice and a tight deadline for the job in order to prepare for a party we had scheduled, and they came through for us. They matched our existing paint in one room exactly so we were able to have one wall touched up without having to repaint the entire room. I asked that they arrive early in the morning to work around a meeting I had, and they showed up exactly on time and amazingly enough, finished the entire job, both interior and exterior, in one day. They did an outstanding job on clean-up, and Danny followed up personally a few days later to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job they did. I would very highly recommend them for any job and I will most definitely be using them again for future projects. This was a first class experience for us from start to finish. I am grateful for Angie's List, which is where I found out about Danny's Pro Painters in the first place. A+++++++

I called Danny in the morning, and had an estimate for the job that afternoon. I had a couple of previous estimates and Danny was not the cheapest, but after Matt explained their service and what to expect, I felt like I would be getting the best overall deal. My husband, an engineer, checked that they used the best paint and caulk. They arrived on the day they were scheduled with a large crew (8 or 9 people). My husband also checked the prep work to make sure they prepped the paint surfaces properly. Danny completed the job in two days, including our patio (stained) which has a lot of detailed woodwork. We noticed later that night a small area of the patio that had not been completely stained. We called Danny that night, and were told someone would be out a 8:00 am the next morning (Saturday) to work on it. As promised, they arrived on time and made sure we were totally satisfied. I was extremely satisfied with Danny's service and have already recommended Danny's pro painters to my mother-in-law and several neighbors.

Estimate was lowest of several I received, and Danny did everything necessary--matched the paint color, got everything done. We had a miscommunication about the color of the porch pillars and one of his crew came right out to fix it even though it was in the evening. Will definitely have them do work for us again.

We went with another contractor

The 2 guys who came out were late, but called to let me know. When they arrived they were very professional and thorough in their evaluation. I had some bad peeling on some places, some of which I had my brother in law scrape and paint a few places the previous fall to get me by through the winter. Unfortunately he used latex based on the cedar siding which is a no no. Should have used an oil based primer first. The guys from Danny's said that the ENTIRE house was not primed properly, and that it would need to be totally scraped, sanded and a bunch of boards replaced. (was supposedly cheaper to replace the board rather than prepping the old siding). I'm not sure if they just took a sample of the paint off from where it was painted the previous fall, but it was hard for me to believe that everything was primed improperly when the entire house is not peeling. There are many parts that look just fine. So, with all the work that they quoted me on, it may fit the bill. However, I've gotten two quotes from reputable, recommended painters since then for 1/3 of that price. They plan on scraping and sanding it as tight as possible, covering the bare wood w/ an oil based primer and then covering with an exterior paint. So I am wondering if the amount of work that they suggested was a lot of overkill. Based on all the info I'm going to go with someone else, since they seem like they will get me the same end result as Danny's would be (without taking absolutely all the paint off). Time will tell how it will hold up. Bottom line, get at least 3 quotes from area painters. Make sure they are 3 quotes that sound like they know what they are doing. You will learn a lot in that process as well. In the future, I would certainly have Danny's quote a job for myself or someone else in the future.

The companies owner Danny came out to our home was able to give a good estimate. Although the job is not complete we were very impressed with his manners and professionalism. We look forward to him completing the job for our home. Update - The job is completed and we are very pleased. They showed up on time and worked hard. The fence looks great and several neighbors have commented how good it looks. I will be hiring Danny's Pro Painters in the future. They are professional, courteous, prompt, and knowledgable.

I contacted three companies to obtain a quote. I never heard back from Rhino Paint shield, College painters promptly made contact and we set up an appointment to look at the job and provide a quote. He called on Saturday, the day we scheduled and said he had a problem, could he come at two o'clock Sunday afternoon. We waited all afternoon and he never called or showed up. I received a call from Danny's the same day that I contacted him on line. He showed up the very next day, examined the work and gave me a written quote on the spot. After not hearing from anyone else who I contacted I decided to give the work to Danny's Pro Painters without getting any other quotes. We scheduled the work to be done on the 4th of June but were rained out. He called and said he'd be there the next day, June 5. He called me Wednesday evening to confirm he'd be there this morning. The workers showed up at seven A.M. and immediately started working. They were professional, very quiet, and diligent in there work. They finished the job about six p.m. the same day, cleaned up, and left everything spotless. Danny called during the day to make sure everything was going well.. His foreman showed up around five p.m. and we walked the job to be sure I was satisfied with their work. Based on the number of man hours and the cost of the included materials, it was obvious their price was fair and reasonable. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends.

Danny's Pro Painters were absolutely terrific. Originally scheduled for a Monday start, the job was postponed due to a rainy streak, but when the weather cleared Wednesday evening, Danny sent an army of painters to our home on Thursday and the job was completed by Saturday afternoon. Our home had a number of rotten wooden siding panels that needed replaced, but Danny's crew was very good at replacing and matching the siding so we could not even tell which boards were replaced. The paint job performed by his crew was amazing - so much so, that we've received complements from complete strangers walking by our home. I would definitely recommend Danny's Pro Painters for any painting job you need - his pricing is fair, his crew is professional, and the result is spectacular.

Interior drywall and painting. We had used Danny before on exterior painting. His superior team and attention to detail are rare. There is no one better. Fantastic job. Arrived on time. Finished early. Adjusted to last minute add on needs we had. We won't use anyone else!

They did a good job and the price was fair. They did it within a week and they also did some wood repair. I would use them again.
