Went to this place when my Gateway laptop NV52 crashed. They reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate for $40. Very reasonable and professional. Also installed some of the utilities that were useful.

The owner was nice, but the technicians are not getting the repairs done correctly. I took the computer in the first time becuase the charger wasn't working. They were supposed to put a new adapter in but when I got home, it didn't work. I took it back and they said they repaored it, but they didn't hook the fan back up. I took it back again, they said they fixed it. I am still having problems today. I can plug the computer in for only five minutes before it gets too hot and I have to power it off.

"Bring it in! I'd love to look at it! In fact, I'd like to open it up while your here to confirm that the fan and/or the wifi was not connected properly. If so, I'll assume responsibility to get your laptop working better than it was when it was first brought to us."

It went terrible. They ruined my computer.

"When your computer was brought to us, the keyboard and mouse were not working due to a virus. We diagnosed the virus, and got your approval to remove it. Upon attempting removal, we discovered what is called a rootkit (a particularly nasty one that disabled hardware). The only way to eliminate it and the problems it caused requires completely wiping your Hard Drive and re-installing windows. After determining this, we called and attempted to explain that you would loose everything. Your exact response was: "Do what you gotta do." We did. Your computer was returned to you virus free, working current anti-virus software, and a working mouse & keyboard. Freshly loaded Operating System, working 100% better than it was when you brought it in. No up charge was given for the additional steps required to solve your problem, we honored the original virus removal amount. I understand that you were upset about your data, but your review is not accurate, nor would it have been possible to write the negative review without having a working fixed computer."

My laptop completely crashed and they had to put some parts to reactivate it. The actual parts would have a cost a lot but they managed to do it with less costly parts. They took the time to show you what is going on and you can see the operation going on. They explained everything after it was done beautifully. That is the only one we use and they are quite helpful. They did the job on the spot. I took a seat and they worked on it. It was not a quick thing that happens. They actually got it done and it didn't take weeks.

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop, approx 2 years old, which had suffered a lot of external damage so it did not work. The case surrounding the lcd monitor was broken, wires were exposed and the computer was taped together with duct tape. I took it to CSC to see what it would take to get it running again. They assessed it for no charge and said they could order the new pieces and install for a total of $90. Until these parts were replaced, it would be difficult to check out the rest of it. Estimated repair time is 1 week, because the parts were ordered from out of state supplier. A week later they called to say it was fixed. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked for a new power supply because we had been having problems with the PS we already had. They sold me one for $40. We plugged it in and found that there was a stuck key on the keyboard. At this point, there were 3 guys from CSC working on the computer to get it working. Eventually, they concluded that the keyboard needed to be replaced, and provided one that they already had in the shop. The shop closes at 5pm on Fridays, but all these guys stayed and worked late (till 530 or so) to be sure everything was OK. Now, after two weeks, it is still working great. Just like new. These people were very knowledgeable and helpful. I am thrilled to have the computer functioning again. I wish that they had checked the computer out after repairing the case. They could have found the issue with the keyboard before I arrived. However, they made up for it by ensuring it was functional before I left.

My hard drive crashed and I took the machine in for them to look at. They agreed the hard drive was shot and said the DVD drive was causing the intermittent lock ups I had been exeriencing. I also asked them to upgrade our power supply. They had to get the parts (hard drive and power supply) and had the computer ready for pick up in 2 days(took it in on Thurs afternoon and picked it up on Sat). Although I had had Vista 64 on the machine, they installed Windows 7 for no additional charge. We started installing our programs and kept getting lockups, so we took it back. They said there was a corrupted file in the Windows setup and fixed that and downloaded/installed a program I hadn't been able to. They didn't try to say I had corrupted the file; just fixed it and didn't charge anything more. They didn't talk down to me even though I'm a woman and seemed quite knowledgeable. We will use them for all future computer repairs.

They were very thorough. They had to remove the old windows works suite I had on the computer. They got rid of the old virus protection and added new more complete system. I have had absolutely no trouble with it since. The computer is running better now than it ever has.
