Everything went like clockwork. They installed everything in a timely manner even though they had to do additional work after the carpet was torn up.

The entire experience went really well. The owner, Bob Workman, came to my home at the scheduled time on the scheduled day and did an estimate. He was very cordial and very professional. He provided the estimate, and I told him I wanted him to do the work. He said he would call when he got back to the office to schedule the time. He called me that afternoon and we scheduled the date when the work would be done. His crew came at the specified time on the specified date. They, too, were professional. It was a pair of guys who had worked together for more than 20 years. They were courteous, professional and quick on the job. They did a very nice job. I didn't not get any other estimates, so I don't know how the price stacks up with others. But the cost seemed reasonable, and the professionalism and courtesy of the people involved made me not really care if I was saving a few dollars on such a small job.

Browns has done work for us before and we have always been very pleased. This time Irene Slivka was our sales person and she was very helpful. The installers were wonderful. Very professional yet personable. The carpet was delivered and installed within a week. We will definitely use Browns again when we have flooring needs.

I worked with Irene Slivka to choose new carpet for the second floor of my Victorian home. She assisted me in choosing the type I wanted, was GREAT at trying to stay within my budget while finding a carpet that had the feel that I wanted, and even helped me choose the color. She was wonderful and the installers did a great job. The Victorian home has settled somewhat (haven't we all?) after 120 years so the floors were not even and I have a curving staircase that required a bit of detailed attention. They all did a great job - leveling one big lump in the floor as much as possible, and artfully covering the areas near the stairs. The installers were pretty good about cleaning up - but I found a big pile of dirt and carpet bits left in one of the closets after they had gone. Still, it was a great experience - my first time buying carpet. Irene even came by during the installation to check on everything and I got a thoughtful note of thanks from her after the sale.

One of the boards shifted slightly and they came out a couple of weeks ago to put it back into place. They didn't charge me anything because I have a warranty but they're very courteous and I'd highly recommend them to others!

Of my choices from your list they gave me the best price by about $500.00. The salesman was prompt, friendly and helpful. They did everything contracted for and then when I added some extra they covered it for the same price. I was completely satisfied. In fact I have just called them back for another estimate. I would recommend them to anybody.

They were a very honest sales staff. The owner himself came out to take the measurements. The installer was quick and neat. They did a good job overall.

We visited the Brown's showroom but couldn't decide on the color or species. They allowed us to take several flooring samples home to view with our furniture. After making a decision, we called to setup an estimate appointment. Bob quickly came out & carefully measured the entire house to provide the estimate. He was prompt & helpful with answering questions. He scheduled the install to align with conclusion of our plumbing work & was able to push back the start date when the plumbers were slightly delayed. Several unforeseen problems arose during the install (1/4 round molding was delayed from manufacturer, sub-floor issues, etc); Bob dealt with all issues professionally & resolved them to my satisfaction. We could not be more pleased with the finished flooring or the company! This was a great experience!! I would highly recommend using Brown's for flooring installation.

They came right out and took care of the problem, and told me that if I have anymore problems that they would be right back out to take care of it.

After the original estimate, Brown's discovered during the actual work that the subfloor was not even. This caused them to tear out part of the old vinyl flooring. They did not change their cost estimate based on the extra work. The team doing the work cleaned up each night and ensured I was happy with the results. They stained edging to match other woodwork surrounding the floor.

At the store, Donna was very helpful in answering our questions and scheduling the estimate, and sent floor samples home with us. Bob Workman was on time, professional, and gave us the estimate for the floor on site. The installation crew did a very nice job and took the time to make sure the installation was done correctly, which included removing the existing linoleum and prepping the floor. The removal of the existing floor did add to the original price.

Workers arrived on schedule, job completed in 2 days, including moving heavy furniture. No obvious damage to freshly painted walls. Work was very satisfactory.

Irene was the salesperson that greeted me at the showroom. She listened to my wants/needs and expertly guided me during the carpet selection process. She allowed me to take several carpet samples home over the weekend to assist me in making my decision. When it was time to take measurements of the house, she was kind enough to make an adjustment to her schedule to accommodate my availability. The carpet was installed approximately three weeks later in order for interior painting to be completed. The installers worked from 8:30 am - 1 pm on both days. Both gentleman were very friendly and methodical. It was obvious from the start that they were well versed in their craft. They were paid to move a mattress set in one of the bedrooms, and a heavy TV and couches in the living room. They were very careful with all of the furniture and very conscientious not to damage any walls or light fixtures in the process. I am very pleased with the results! I highly recommend Brown's Flooring!

They showed up about 4hours late. They did not order enough carpet so the job was delayed for another week and half. I had to keep calling them to see when the job was going to be completed. They told me they were just very busy.

I think this is one of the best companies here in Indy. The sales people were very helpful but not to pushy. They were also very knowledgeable about each brand. The technicians removed the old carpeting and installed the new one without any problems. They were very professional and completed the project very quickly.

Very courteous and prompt with excellent quality of work. I will certainly look their way when I replace the vinyl in my kitchen.

Irene, the sales person, was pleasant, helpful, and insisted we take the flooring samples home to see them in the correct lighting. She was professional and courteous. Irene and the installers informed me ahead of time that the work would take two days to complete since I was about forty minutes from their store - but there was no travel fee. The installers worked quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed about the progress of the work. They even fixed a broken pantry door at no extra cost! I appreciated their attention to detail and I would gladly work with them again in the future!

Bob Workman was prompt in coming to estimate the job once we had decided on the carpet. They allowed us to try out several different samples in our home at several different times to make sure we had the carpet that we wanted. They were prompt in scheduling the install dates. We worked with them to accommodate a scheduling issue they had on the week our carpet was to be installed. Because they had to schedule us earlier in the week, we didn't have the time to move all the furniture and they worked with us to move the heavier pieces at no cost to us. Charles, their installer, was careful and thorough. The price was very good and included a pad upgrade at no charge. We would use Brown's again.

The salesperson came to the house to measure the floor after I had selected the tile. She was very knowledgable and helpful. The installers were punctual and skilled at their work. We were pleased with the results and would definitely use Brown's Flooring again.

Irene was great. She was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She followed up several times while we were still deciding on which carpets we wanted, and when we wanted them installed. They installed the carpet in one day and cleaned up after themselves. They even vacuumed the carpet to make it look nice! We are very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend Brown's flooring to anyone. The carpet looks and feels amazing!

I had no idea what to look for in a floor, but needed to redo the floor in my kitchen. Irene helped me by pointing out the pros and cons of different flooring options. She was always helpful, provided useful information, but never pushy. In the end, I chose a laminate floor and I love it. Ken came to lay the floor and he did fabulous work. The floor looks perfect and I am thrilled every time I walk into the kitchen. I will definitely go back to Browns for future flooring needs.

MR. WORKMAN PROMPTLY SCHEDULED AN ESTIMATE WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS OF MY SCHEDULE. HE ARRIVED ON TIME, GAVE THE LOWEST OF 3 ESTIMATES. HIS WORKMEN ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED, PERFORMED WORK AS DESCRIBED. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB & COURTEOUSLY ASSISTED ME IN PUTTING FURNITURE BACK. OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY ALL.

Ken the installer was professional and an expert at the flooring. I am a perfectionist, and I believe Ken one-upped me on the attention to detail and quality of his work down to the smallest detail on the oddest angle. The quality of his work impressed me the more I walked the edges and really took a close look at all the little places that could have slipped. The only challenge was the time estimate being off for our floor, but I will say Ken's quality was as good the last hours when my frustration was apparent as it was in the beginning of the project. Thanks Ken, I waited a month to see if I was still as impressed with the work, and I am happy to say I am. The price was better then the other 2 estimates by far, but the quality of the work is why I will call them back.
