Gary was prompt, courteous and professional, and he answered all our questions. We were entirely satisfied.

We have used this company several times for our garage doors. They are a great company to work with. This is the second time they have been able to provide a solution over the phone.

It went very well. Jim explained exactly how to program the new remote. He was exceedingly helpful.

They were very good. We used them several years ago and their service was just as good if not better. The man was very patient and let my husband watch him while he worked. I give them a 10 all the way down.

Everything went well. Door works fine now. I thought he was going to replace both springs, one was actually broken, other was aging. Had read it is advisable to replace in pairs. But we did not have that discussion and I did not realize until after he had left.

Showed me the date original was installed. Showed me what was causing the problem. Gave an estimate for new model and installation. Lubricated the door, left garage cleaner than when he came!

I called to say that the cable on our very old garage door opener had broken and asked if they could fix it this afternoon so it would work properly. The owner came within an hour and had it all running smoothly within an hour. He was punctual and professional and I very much appreciated his willingness to take the job on quickly, in spite of having a hip replacement a month ago!

He is still working on it, but I wanted to take a minute and tell people how wonderful these guys are. They have worked on our doors many times in the last 20 years - replacing doors, springs, openers, etc. The first time I called them because the other Overhead Door guys couldn't tell me when they were coming. BroadRipple Overhead Door was at my house making the repair not long after I called, and their responsiveness has been just as good ever since. They always check and lubricate my two other doors at no extra charge whenever they are here to fix one.

My garage door would not close. I called and was given suggestions that I might try myself. These did not work, so I called again as instructed, and a service call was scheduled for the same day. The technician arrived in the time period arranged for, found the problem and solved it in 30 minutes or less. The charge was the minimum quoted on the phone. I was glad to pay it on a day when the temperature was headed below zero. The technician explained what he did and was very professional and polite.

They came out promptly when called to troubleshoot and estimate the repair. However, they said they could not perform the work for about eight days when most other providers could do it inside of three days. Because they were recommended by a friend I scheduled the install in eight days. Weather then delayed the original install date and they promised to come in two days after that. On the morning of the rescheduled install, they didn't show up when promised and called 40 mintues later to tell me that they were backlogged and couldn't do the install for another week or more. I canceled the job and they refunded my deposit. When I hired another contractor, the price I got was $150 less than what BR OH Door was going to charge, for exactly the same door and services. Very dissappointing. If you can't do the work in a timely manner, just inform the customer so they can make other choices.

Twenty-one year old 1/2 horse opener finally gave up the ghost. Jim came out within a day, diagnosed the problem and we agreed on a price for a total replacement opener - installed - plus an outside keypad. Technology has advanced in 21 years even in the world of garage door openers. I am happy that Broad Ripple Doors and Openers installed a modern, functional opener on my garage door system for a fair price. I also engaged them to tune an opener on another home I own.

They were very reasonably priced, trustworthy and felt comfortable. I also trusted him to be in my house.

We are very happy with the style we selected for our new garage door, we received exactly what had been described to us. The installation went well--Gary had to and quot;work itand quot; so to speak because our garage door opening has sagged over the many years. The price appeared fair, compared with other companies. We would have liked more information in the beginning, when we were making our decision, such as brochures and even a section of door to actually see what the materials looked like, the composition of the door, what materials were inside of the door, what the warranty would be...things of that nature. I felt I had to chase after that information; that said, it is a small business and cannot rely upon multiple employees which can be a good thing too.

My garage door opener stopped working. Called Broad Ripple Overhead Doors and they came the same day to diagnose the problem. The unit needed to be replaced. They came the next day and put a new one in. Took about 2 hours, start to finish. They were very punctual and I appreciated that they came so quickly. I would call them again.

As I was leaving town the next day, they came within 30 minutes of my phone call and had the door fixed within an hour. Also, they walked me through in detail the issues and indicated that I would likely need to replace the entire garage door unit in the next year; however, they did not try and tell me I had to do it immediately and actually recommended that I wait until it stopped working completely. Excellent service!

We called Jim for an estimate to repair a garage door that had been hit by someone in a car. The experience was a positive one. We ended up going with another service provider for reasons that had nothing to do with our experience of Jim. We would recommend him to others and call him again in the future.

I think they did a good job and cleaned up after they finished. They were prompt and were here when they said they would be. They stayed here until they got the job done and were friendly and courteous.

Came out and looked at garage door opener that was 15 years old and gears were wearing down such that the door would not go down 90% of the time and had to be shut manually. They adjusted the old opener to work while I got some new garage door openers for them to install. They had to come back to work me into their schedule. I decided to replace both openers since they were the same age and the other one was wear down also and it would be just a matter of time before it stopped. Came out a week later to install the openers. One guy was able to do both opener installs, put in the new wall switches, and the keyless entry in about 3 hours. Adjusted the doors to make sure completely. My garage door remotes stopped working. I called and left a message. Gary called back the same day and left me his mobile number. I called back and he was able to fit me in the next day. Gary showed up within the designated time and diagnosed the problem - the part that was broken was so costly to repair, and my existing opener was so old, it made more sense to replace the opener than to repair it. This was on a Friday. Gary said he could get the parts and do the work on the following Tuesday. I wrote a check - the cost for the service call, roughly $75, would apply to the opener replacement - and I told him I'd leave the exterior door unlocked. The following Tuesday, it was as if the garage door fairies had come when I was at work! Gary took away the existing opener and left the new remotes in the designated spot. He called during the day to find out the code I wanted to use for the keypad. It's been a few weeks since I had the work done, and I'm still very happy. Everything is working great. I plan to call Broad Ripple Overhead Doors and Openers when I replace my garage door.

Start to finish the experience was great. Quote was given on Tuesday and work performed was Wednesday. The job was done quickly and good expanation was given on unit installed.
