Broad Ripple Overhead Doors & Openers

Jim came out and quoted a good price, very competitive in comparison to other bids we obtained. However, when it came to replacing the headers and side pieces to the frame of the garage, they did an incredibly sloppy job of caulking the sides. The oddity was that, they properly caulked one side of one door, but all the other sides for the other doors they used a mismatching caulk, and left it all gunked up and unsmooth, spread all over the brick, etc. I called Jim back at least 3 times to have them come fix it, and, each time they did, they continued to do a sloppy job. I finally gave up and we are just living with the sloppiness until the wood gets repainted. It appeared he did not come back out to see what his workers had done to try and repair it, and it just continued to be sloppy. I think they need more management follow up on the work. However, I will say his price was competitive and the doors themselves look good.

He arrived on time for the estimate, told me what to expect for the job which was scheduled for 3 days later. The job was completed when and as promised. I would use them again.

We needed our garage door opener because we were remodeling and we needed the cabinets that were in our garage. We called them on Sunday night, and they called us back first thing Monday morning. The price was great. We give them A+++; they were outstanding!

I requested a service call when our garage door keypad stopped functioning (it was an old keypad they did not install). The gentleman I spoke with had the honesty and integrity to suggest that I check the battery. They could have made their easiest money of the day changing a simple 9 volt battery but instead chose the honest route. A nice postscript is that I could not locate the battery and assumed our old system was hard-wired to house current. So I called the next day and again requested a service call. A different gentleman again suggested that I check the battery. I told him where I checked and he explained that I should look inside the garage instead of in the keypad compartment, where I found the battery and successfully replaced it. Therefore, the honesty of the first gentleman was no fluke; obviously this is a business you can trust!

The representative was pleasant and efficient; he showed me what needed to be fixed and why my door was no longer repairable. I am very pleased with their work and the price.

Fabulous. He was polite, conscientious, and made sure I understood what needed to be done so the garage door opener wouldn't continue to burn itself out every couple of years. I can't imagine having that work done by anyone for that price.

They did an excellent job and my husband and I were very impressed! He was very knowledgeable and the price was reasonable. He was also very pleasant, prompt, professional and we would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to everyone.

The tech came to the house on time and was very friendly. He replaced the unit in about 45 mins. and even sprayed WD40 on the garage door tracks to keep them from squeaking. I would recommend them and use them again if needed.

They scheduled a time to meet me at my house, arrived on time to assess the problem and found the circuit board (or something like that) needed to be replaced. It would have been $150 to make that repair with no guarantee something else wouldn't go wrong because the unit was old and obsolete. They offered that a replacement opener would be $330, and could be done within a few hours. I opted for that.

About a week after they did the work, we ran into another problem with the door. I called and they came back out and repaired the problem without charge.

Great job. Came out same day, at agreed to time, gave an accurate and reasonable estimate of the cost. Fixed the problem.

Called and even though Angie's says I wasn't in a "serviceable area" (shame on you, Angie), they were able to schedule me in, in a timely manner. I wanted a newer unit with safety features that weren't available 20 years ago. Came out on scheduled day and did the work in a timely and professional manner. Thoroughly explained the new unit and its function/features. Cleaned up and took any "trash" with him when he left. VERY PLEASED with a great service call.

Overall they did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

Very well. They came to the house to give an estimate within 4 hrs. of our call. Gave two estimates, one for fixing the old door and one for a new door. Also, gave a date which they could either fix or replace. After agreeing to replace, they came over two days later and installed the new door. No one needed to be there for either the estimate or the installation.

Gary, the serviceman who came out, was absolutely fantastic! He fixed all my problems and suggested a couple of other things I could do to save heating costs (such as replace the gasket on the bottom of my door). He was not a bit pushy about the suggestions he made. Gary was a totally professional and friendly person! Plus, I was so impressed that the company offered to have someone come out the SAME DAY that I called them. I didn't need that type of quick service but it was great to know that it was available.

They were very nice to work with. They did a great job. These people know what "Customer Service" means.

They did a fine job. They were punctual. There were two men, one who did the estimate and one who came to do the work. They were both polite and the one who installed the door did a great job.

They performed maintenance on our current garage door opening system, explained thoroughly what had caused the malfunction, why periodic maintenance was recommended, and just did a great job of fixing the problem and making themselves pleasant to work with. They did not try to sell us on an expensive "fix". I forgot to send in a report last year, but we are experiencing some odd noises in the garage door opener again, which reminded me to call this company again...which then reminded me to do a 'late' report.

I was very pleased with the service. He called me when he was on the way to my house. He was friendly yet professional. He is a very hard worker. Gary repaired and serviced a two car garage door for me. It was very hot (90*). He explained everything he did. No complaints. Surprise was he adjusted my overhead garage control and it started working. I asked him how long he worked on garage doors, he said "20 years." I told him, "It shows."

It was painless. Lowest bid out of four on comparable doors. Arrived when he said he would, like Santa, went straight to his work, and I love it!

Was very helpful. Made recommendations on replacement that valid.

Gary returned my call promptly on Friday and scheduled a visit on Monday. Gary arrived on time, and we looked at the repairs needed after which I requested a new door...the old one was in bad repair since it was the original to our house built in 1962. We looked at the options available and scheduled the installation for the NEXT day! John arrived on time and replaced the door in just a couple of hours. His work was very good and he was pleasant to work with. When the installation was complete, he cleaned up the whole area and washed off the new doors, windows included. I would use this company again and would recommend them.

I called to have my old garage doors repaired, again. They offered the repair but explained in detail that because of the nature of the hardware (being old), I would continue to have to repair the doors and eventually, they could fall and harm something or someone. The company had installed the garage door opening system a few years prior and remembered me and having repaired the doors twice since then. After receiving a very fair estimate, I agreed to go forward. The new garage doors were installed the next day with new hardware. Additionally, they advised me to buy a new garage door key fob from a local store rather than buying it from them because it would be cheaper and they programmed it for me. Additionally, my garage was full of "junk" and they moved it around for me rather than me having to rearrange things in order for them to work.

Prompt and responsive. Changed some bolts and it's working fine!
