Replaced a piece of rubber tubing that went into the unit pump, came out quickly to service unit.

Bolls was out the next day. I told the repairman what had happened. He looked at the furnance and wanted to replace something. He did not fully explain what needed to be done and refused to give me a quote in writing. I insisted on at least a verbal quote before I would agree to the repair. He performed the work quickly and our furnace works great. I felt like he did not want to tell me what was wrong because I am a woman. Just got some negative vibes there.

Bolls has been very professional in the 4 years that they have serviced our furnace. They initially were called when the furnace quit at 3 am when it was below 10 degrees. That service call resulted in setting up an annual maintenance agreement. We have not had any problems since. Furnace is 25 years old.

Mike was good to work with, offering maintenance tips even before I became a customer. The technician arrived on time, was very friendly, courteous and honest. He explained what he was doing while I watched him perform the furnace inspection. He even found a gas leak next to the furnace and repaired it at no charge! This is a great company. I will continue to recommend them to others. NOTE: I did not get competitive quotes for the compressor, so I reported N/A for price.

They were on time, very prompt. They well informed us and explained in detail what was wrong. I have no complaints.

My experience with Bolls has been negative on two occasions. They charged me $75 to tell me that the boiler on my hydronic heat system needed to be replaced for thousands of dollars. Subsequently, Earl Gray & Sons repaired the motor for $75 and the heat has worked fine for over a year. This year I called Bolls because I thought that I had purchased our new air conditioner from them, and it had quit working. After one of their technicians came out I discovered that I had actually purchased it from Earl Gray & Sons. After looking at the air conditioner, the technician headed to his van to get two screwdrivers and a flashlight. I paid the trip charge and told him that I would call Earl Gray. The RECEPTIONIST at Earl Gray said she would send someone, but that contemporary air residential air conditioners are designed to shut down the compressor when the inside temperature is 15 degrees less than outside. Since I was out of warranty, she suggested that I wait it out. She was right.

Tech showed up 8am. I thought they were suppose to call ahead, but it was no big deal as I was up. Tech was professional and polite. Also, helpful in explaining the condition of the A/C unit.

After inspecting the unit & finding nothing wrong, the technician discovered the problem was a cracked PVC pipe leading from the unit to the sump pump. The technician said the problem was probably caused by someone stepping on the pipe. Even though that most likely occurred when another company installed a water heater, Bolls did not charge us for the service call & repair because the unit was under warranty.

The estimator was far more professional than his competitors. Mike made sure I understood options and costs. He also demonstrated far more knowledge of boilers than some of the other bidders. He explained how Bolles works and exactly which elements of my system needed to be replaced. His estimate was somewhat higher than some others, but he identified the value we would receive. One additional cost area was a two-day, rather than a one-day, installation plan. As he explained it, it seemed to make sense. As I monitored the work, it made even more sense. After the work was done, there was a small leak in a pipe joint. Bolles sent a tech to fix it immediately. This is a high-class outfit.

They never gave up on me because the furnace that was installed just wasn't taking. There was a problem with a chip in the computer of the furnace and they found it after troubleshooting multiple times. I've done business with Bolls for years and whenever you call, they get right out.

They were very polite, the price was reasonable. They explained the problems and solutions. They were prompt.

Good reliable, honest, friendly company to work with.

The servicemen arrived on time, were very polite, and very informative. They did the job well. I will certainly utilize the services of this company in the future.

THEY CAME OUT YESTERDAY AROUND 4:30-5:00 TO INSPECT THE FURNACE. THEY TOOK THE SIDE OFF AND FOUND THAT THERE WERE SOME BURNT PARTS THAT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THEY ALSO SAID THE HEAT EXCHANGE WAS OKAY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NEED TO GET PARTS AND COME BACK TODAY. THEY CHARGED ME $761 FOR THE LABOR AND PARTS. THEY CAME BACK THIS MORNING TO INSTALL THOSE PARTS, AND TOOK THE TOP ALL OF THE WAY OFF AND FOUND THAT THE HEAT EXCHANGER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED (WHICH WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL $700-800.) THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER 'OPTION' OF REPLACING THE WHOLE UNIT FOR $4000 AFTER THEY CHARGED THE $761. I DON'T HAVE THE OPTION TO NOT PAY THEM FOR THE PARTS THEY ALREADY REPLACED, SINCE THEY ALREADY INSTALLED THEM, BUT THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY SAYING I EITHER HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $700 TO GET IT WORKING OR BUY A NEW UNIT. THE CHARGES INCLUDE SERVICE CALLS FOR BOTH DAYS AND WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT THE COUPON THEY ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING, THEY SAID IT WOULD BE BETTER TO USE THE COUPON WHEN THEY COME BACK.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE, THOROUGH, AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME.

THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE PEOPLE.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE PEOPLE WERE TIDY. RETURNED IN A TIMELY MANNER TO COMPLETE THE JOB. TOOK EXTRA STEPS TO SATISFY MY NEEDS. VERY REASONABLE COST TOO. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

ESTIMATE FOR FURNACE & HEAT PUMP WAS HIGHER (ABT. $7500) THAN WE HOPED. WE REALLY LIKED SERGEI & FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THE CO. WE ARE DEBATING WHETHER TO GET ANOTHER ESTIMATE & ALSO WHETHER TO REPLACE THE SYSTEM NOW OR WAIT. ULTIMATELY, HOWEVER, WE PROBABLY WILL USE THIS CO. JOB 2:WE WEREN'T IN ANY REAL HURRY TO HAVE THE WORK DONE & WE DID ASK THEM TO AVOID THANKSGIVING WEEK, BUT MORE THAN A WEEK ELAPSED BETWEEN THE TIME WE CONTRACTED THE WORK & THE TIME THE CO.CALLED TO SET UP A DATE TO DO THE WORK, WHICH WAS ALMOST A MONTH. OTHER THAN THAT, EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY. THE INSTALLERS ARRIVED AT THE APPOINTED TIME. THEY WERE NEAT & PROFESSIONAL. WHEN THEY FINISHED, THEY DID A GOOD JOB EXPLAINING HOW TO USE THE NEW THERMOSTAT & ALSO HOW TO CARE FOR THE SYSTEM. WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS & WILL USE THEM FOR ANNUAL SRVC

JOB 1:ANSWERED PHONE ON 1ST RING, AND CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT FOR 8 AM AND SHOWED UP ON TIME. CLEANED AND INSPECTED A/C AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. PRICE WAS AS QUOTED. INSTALLED OUR FURNACE IN 2000, AND WE'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS. MY 1ST CHOICE FOR HVAC. JOB 2:ARRIVED ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON/ EARLY EVENING ABOUT AN HOUR AFTER WE CALLED.

THEY WERE GOOD LISTENERS. THEY LISTENED TO WHAT I ASKED FOR. THEY ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS VERY CLEARLY.

WHEN I CONTACTED THE COMPANY, I KNEW I NEEDED A NEW AC UNIT BUT WAS UNSURE OF THE STATUS OF THE FURNACE. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT MR. TRAYCOFF, PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY, SAID WE DIDN'T NEED A FURNACE. I GAVE HIM THE JOB BECAUSE HE WAS WILLING TO BE HONEST AND FOREGO THE POTENTIAL EXTRA CHARGE. THE INSTALLERS, RICK AND RICK, WERE PROMPT AND DID A GREAT JOB. WHEN THEY TRIED TO CHECK THE SYSTEM IT SOMEHOW BLEW SOMETHING IN THE HEATER. ANOTHER PERSON SHOWED UP AND STAYED FOR TWO HOURS, BUT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. FRANK CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND REPAIRED THE FURNACE PROBLEM (NO CHARGE). MY ONLY ISSUE IS THAT NOT ONE OF THE INTALLERS UNDERSTOOD HOW TO OPERATE THE NEW THERMOSTAT AND I STILL CAN'T GET IT TO RUN PROPERLY. IT COST $250 AND I WOULD'VE APPRECIATED SOME ASSISTANCE. I HAVE RESORTED TO CONTACTING THE MANUFACTURER IN CANADA TO SEE IF I CAN GET IT TO WORK PROPERLY. OVERALL, I THINK THE COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB AND I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.
