Bill Reneau Painting

I had used Bill to paint the interior of my condo and called him back for this small job. It turns out that it was more complicated than originally thought (isn't everything?). Bill researched the kind of product he would need, brought out a color chart and, when we decided on the color, he set about the tedious work of cleaning up the old floor and preparing it for painting. Once the job was done, the room looked wonderful. Bill expects a lot of himself - and the result is that he does not disappoint his customers.

An estimate was given for the cost and time of the work to be completed. Bill was explicit and completed the work on time and for the amount we agreed to. He was professional and easy to work with.

He worked in a difficult situation, with other contractors running around, and because there was so much going on, we left Bill with a tight schedule and newly refinished hardwood floors-but there isn't a spot on them, and he really was terrific in helping to get the job finished in a short amount of time. I have used Bill before, because he does GREAT work, he does what he says he will do, advises you along the way, he comes in, does his job, and gets out- no extending the job to weeks on end while he goes and does other jobs. Plus, we can trust him with a key to the house. Everyone has commented on how terrific the paint looks, and Bill made it that way. To those looking at the price, we made the decison to change dark wood trim to white, which ended up being the majority of the cost, but we are really happy with the result.

The process couldn't have gone better. Bill was very prompt, did what he said he would do, is a very diligent worker and the rooms turned out great. The preparation necessary was more involved than he initially realized and we negotiated a very reasonable price adjustment. Bill also provided useful information regarding paint and preparation for my future use. Bill was extremely neat, cleaned up completely each day and was very understanding and kind to my dog who was present for all of the work. I learned of Bill from a friend who used him in the past and highly recommend him.

Bill is an excellent painter! He is meticulous, honest, and reliable. Bill has painted for us prior to this job and will be painting our ceilings next week. I would highly recommend his services to others who are looking for an awesome painter.

Bill was great! He came out to give an estimate and handed it to me right then and there. He also made a suggestion to make the job look much better. The speaker grills and light fixture trim rings were white and in a wood ceiling. Bill found a paint color that was an exact match for the wood tone. The job required some creativity and very careful application of the paint. He got everything painted in a couple of hours and returned the next day to reinstall everything (in about 10 minutes). He was very knowledgeable about a very out-of-the-ordinary painting need and improved on our initial idea.

He is always on time, and sticks to his quotes. I can leave the house when he is painting. If I ask for advice or opinion, he will let me know what the right answer would be, paint wise. He is a professional. He is reasonable. He has been painting for a long time, and knows what kind of paint to get for each room.

I found Bill by the recommendations on Angie's list, and I sent him an email. He responded within a couple hours and called me. He was very pleasant on the phone and very accommodating. We currently live in Chicago, and needed the work done on our new place in Indianapolis. Bill arranged his schedule to be available to meet me when I was able to be in Indianapolis. On first meeting, Bill spent considerable time with me, looking carefully at the house and what needed to be done. He had color samples, and we were able to find a wall color that seemed like it would be perfect to minimize the look of the pickled oak cabinets and trim. He then made a careful tour of the house and gave me an estimate for his work and for the cost of the paint. He suggested that I pick up a sample and try it on the wall, which I did. So that decision was made. The choice of an accent color was more difficult, and Bill was very helpful in making suggestions and picking out a couple possible colors based on my description of what I was looking for. I got samples of those as well, and he put both of the possibilities on the wall for me to see. I was able to make the choice with a much greater level of confidence. Bill worked steadily and efficiently. He did a great job and continued to accommodate my schedule. He was very considerate throughout the completion of the job. The condition of the kitchen cupboards and the woodwork in the master bathroom was not good, and he researched what kind of finish he could put on that would help preserve the wood and protect it. He then bought a small amount and tried it before purchasing enough to complete the job. The three-season room also presented some challenges and required extra work to compensate for things that had not been done correctly when the room had been enclosed. He did this without extra charge, and the estimate he gave me was the exact amount he charged, though I believe the job required extra effort and time. It was a pleasure working with Bill. I especially appreciated some of the tips he gave me as a newcomer to Indianapolis regarding phone, cable and internet service. Lastly, he was fun to be around. He takes his work very seriously, but not himself. I would recommend him highly to anyone for his work quality as well as his work ethic

Bill was great. The painting job was done very well. He is always on time for both the estimate and each day. He made sure all the times were appropriate and fit into our schedule. He is very honest. He said that he was able to get the materials a little cheaper so he lowered the cost from the estimate. He is very neat and cleans up after himself. We had no problems and are happy with the end result.

Bill has painted for us before and as in the past he is very quick to return calls. He cheerfully worked around our weird schedule. He arrived very promptly, worked neatly, professionally and quickly. As usual he treated us and our home with respect. It is a pleasure to have him in the house. We will certainly hire him again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

This is the second time I have used Bill to paint in my home, so I expected the excellent service. Bill is punctual and neat in his work. He arrives early and stays to meet your needs. (My schedule forced him to adjust his work days, but he accommodated with no worries.) Bill is very efficient in his technique, so the job doesn't drag out like some might expect. Bill knows about his kraft enough to make recommendations that ultimately will help with your project. Bill is very aware of your expectations and cleans up after the day - you don't even know he was there. If there was a spot that I was curious about, he made sure it was finished to my liking. The whole experience was great and I would recommend Bill for any painting job that you need. I will definitely utilize Bill in the future.

Bill is always on time, very careful and neat. He's very good at colors and thinks ahead. He leaves paint cans marked and in the basement and leaves everything clean.

Bill responded immediately to my phone call and came right over to give me an estimate. He was easy to schedule and kept me informed via e-mail of when the painting date was coming. He is meticulous in his work and very skilled. I have used him in the past and I will continue to use him.

I was very pleased with the results! Bill stayed on task the entire time and was very attentive to detail. He was able to do a very neat job and I can honestly say he left my house in the condition it was before he started... he cleaned everything and even helped me put my furniture back in place after the indoor painting. During the time he was working in my home, I asked him if it would be possible for him to paint the trim on my porch sometime. He was able to fit me into his schedule and returned for that job within less than 48 hours.

Bill Reneau was very professional, was punctual for the scheduled estimate appointment, and sent the estimate via email the next day. Due to the amount of work we wanted done - almost the entire interior wall and ceiling painting and four rooms with wallpaper removal - we decided to go with another company to get the job done in a shorter time frame, since Bill works alone. Bill indicated our job could take a couple of weeks, and we didn't want to have our house in disarray that long.

He ensured that we were on the same page from beginning to end, keeping us informed every step of the way. He was consistently professional and punctual. He answered questions easily and gave good advice. He worked quickly, neatly and quietly, and treated us and our home with respect. He is a very comfortable person to have around and is even pet friendly. He went beyond our expections and we will definitely hire him in the future. I would recommend him to anyone.

Good price and neatness of the painting were my two main criteria and were well met by Bill. I obtained an estimate from another company which was a lot higher. I felt I got a good job at a good price from Bill. Also, he was very punctual and provided my estimate quickly. I'm totally satisfied.

Bill did a fine job and adjusted his schedule to accommodate our timing. We were hosting our family in our new home and wanted the rooms finished in time for Thanksgiving. Bill made it happen! We will definitely use his services again.

Bill does excellent work. However, he primarily does interior work and some trim work outside around windows and entryways. Very cost effective, honest and trustworthy. Have used him several times over the last ~7 years. Outstanding Ior should I keep him quiet so he doesn't get so busy we can't get him to do out jobs. He only does what really needs to be done.

He did a real good job. I spent $900 on that work. I thought that he was very professional. He came in, did the job and pointed out things. He made recommendations hat were good and we might not have thought of. He seemed to be very fair and made a point to stand behind his work. He kept emphasizing that if we had any kind of problems to call him back and he would make it right. He was pretty comparable to other quotes we got. He came 15 or 20 minutes early for the job.
