First let me start of by saying. I am OUTRAGED!! Milto cleaners had one obligation; to render a service to my clothes and FAILED!!!! They failed not once but twice. Once because they lost my cloths and twice because they want to throw a insulting dollar amount at the value of my lost laundry. I am fortunate enough to not be a low end shopper. I take pride in my attire. I don’t care how long a company has been in business. I paid you for a service and I expect not to get someone else’s under garments or clothes mixed up with mine. Or replaced with mine!!!!! Miltos is not exempt them from throwing up their hands and thinking I’m desperate to take just anything. I was vigilant and even took a second and third look at my closet. (knowing the mistake was theirs not mine!!) I know what was taken and I know what I am missing. Let me make this clear I’m very established and don’t need anything but to be made whole from there mistake of losing **** near all my laundry/ work attire.

They picked up our window treatments, some linens, pillows, duffle bags, and all of our leather and fur coats to clean them after our house caught fire due to lightning. The repairs to the house took longer than anticipated, and I asked them to deliver our coats, because it was getting cold. I was shocked when I saw the condition of my leather coats. They were all dry and rough to the touch. One was so bad that I had them take it back to fix it. It was better when they returned it a second time, but all of them were in worse condition than when I let them take them. I didn't ask them to replace them, because I really liked my coats and knew I couldn't find the exact same ones again. None of them were cheap leather, and some were lambskin. The coats had all been stored in plastic bags for 7 months. Any cleaner should know that you don't store leather or fur in plastic. They need to breathe or they will be ruined. When it was getting close to time to return to our house, I had them take my husband's cashmere and merino wool sweaters to clean them and make sure they had no smoky smell. When they were returned, they were covered with "pilling". Our regular cleaner had never returned sweaters looking like that. We sent them back, and they said they could remove the pilling. They were improved when we got them back, but they are still not as nice as they would be if our cleaner had done them. We discovered that 6 of my husband's sweaters were damaged. Five had holes, and one had a tear. When we brought it to the attention of the man picking up the sweaters, he told us that they would reimburse us for them and to get a price for replacements. The sweaters were from Jos. A Bank, so it was easy to find the current price. Once they found out how expensive they were, they didn't want to pay for them. They sent three of the sweaters, without our permission, to some bogus "lab" that they have a membership with, and told us that the damage was from moths. Oddly enough, nothing else in our closet had any damage. When my husband pressed the issue, Matt Bishop, offered to pay us, but not enough to cover the cost of the sweaters, even at the sale price. When we said that was not enough, he denied ever making the offer. I contacted our insurance adjuster and told him the trouble we were having with Milto's. I also suggested they find another cleaner to give their business. The adjuster immediately paid us to replace the sweaters. I don't know if they ever recovered the money from Milto's, but I know they were paid thousands of dollars by my insurance company. They also damaged one of my duffle bags, and the lining on my drapes hangs down below the drapery fabric, which it never did before. I didn't even bother to bring those things to their attention. I am sure that Matt Bishop will respond to this review and give excuses why none of this was their fault. However, if you value your possessions, I suggest you not entrust them to Milto's.

It is generally $2-5 an item. They do a good job. They even put tissue paper in the sleeves to make it look nice. They put a paper cover over a collared shirt where the button is to hold it flat. They take extra steps. I had taken a pair of pants that had an ink stain to another dry cleaner, and they could not get it out. I took it here, and they were able to almost remove all of the ink, and made it look good enough that I could still wear them. They are a little higher than most, but it is totally worth it. The quality is there. They also have a laundry mat attached to the dry cleaners, so they are open for long hours. They do the dry cleaning right there, so there is less chance that it will be lost. They say on the sign that they want to higher friendly people. They also do large articles of clothing, and pillows. If you have a down pillow or comfortable they will dry clean it.

They were amazing. When I say they took EVERY single item of fabric, I mean EVERYTHING. Curtains, towels, socks, clothes from every closet, dresser drawer, shower curtains, oven mitts! EVERYTHING. It took them 2/3 months to get everything back to us but if we needed something, anything, they would find it, clean it and and get it to us before the time we needed it. This was especially helpful because our fire was right before Christmas! Very very accommodating---They went above and beyond what was necessary!

It was quick and easy. What stood out about them is their turn around time. I like their convenience. They're a little expensive.

In January, our eldest daughter's dorm room caught fire at University of Dayton in Ohio. There was very little that could be salvaged and I brought the items home. Mostly, she had shoes (sperry's leather or suede and boots), bedding, and luggage. My daughter has severe allergies so I was most concerned about lingering smoke or dry cleaning chemicals. I spoke with Tony, the owner, and he had his guy in charge of fire and smoke restoraton contact me. They came to my home on the northside and picked up the items and returned them within two weeks time. While they were not able to restore all of her bedding items, her shoes and luggage are fabulous. Much to my surprise, they comped my order. I'll definitely use them the next time we need dry cleaning!

I had them clean a wool coat and denim aprons. The aprons came out very clean, but at a cost not much lower than new (about six bucks an apron). The coat was cleaner over all, but the cuffs still looked dirty. This place was a bit more expensive than several local competitors, so next time I will be trying someone else out.
I have had them do alterations to jeans in the past (which they do send out), and had good results. The stitching matched the original and held up well.

Although the alterations were fine, the service was terrible. The alterations were apparently shipped out and performed at another site and although they were technically done when promised, they were not returned to where I dropped them off. I had to drive out of my way to another one of their locations to retrieve my clothes. There was no apology or concern, they were apathetic at both locations. I would not do business with them again due to their lack of customer service alone.

When my house burned down, I was overwhelmed with the process of trying to sort through the few burned items that remained in my home. When my insurance company encouraged me to contact this company to see what clothes I could salvage, I was very appreciative of their help. They worked with me to collect the clothes, bedding, pillow cases, dolls, and more that I wanted to attempt to salvage. Then, however, they pressured me to give them the other items that I was planning to throw out or donate. I explained to them that the piles of clothes they were trying to collect had already been sorted and were going to Goodwill and to the homeless shelters, and I had no interest in trying to clean and keep these items for myself. I made it clear that I did not want those items cleaned, but they took it upon themselves to take the items anyway after talking to the insurance company (but without my consent). Only approximately 15% of the items they took were items that I actually wanted the salvage. The other 85% were items I was donating or throwing away anyway. They never explained the cost, and in the confusion surrounding the fire I did not know what questions to ask. They did a nice job of cleaning, and I was happy with the items that I had wanted cleaned, but as I said only around 15% of the items were things I actually wanted. I believe that they took advantage of me because they were being paid by insurance, but this dramatically reduced the amount I have to spend to rebuild my life. When I tried to negotiate with them on the price they were completely unwilling to negotiate. When I explained that they did not have my permission to clean the other item, I requested that they reduce the price they charged. They were unrelenting and refused to work with me to help with this very difficult situation.

What I like about them is that they come to my house and stuff the laundry and then they bring it back and put it on and hang it by my door. That is really nice and different. I spend around $30 to $60. I use then on a monthly basis. They are very professional. They have good customer service. I had lost one of my favorite pants. They checked over and over again with themselves. I was not with them. When I went to my mother's place in another state, I found it there. After this episode, I started writing my name on the inside of some of my pants and favorite clothes. They told me that it was not nice way of going about and so they sent me a laundry pen to mark my clothes; that was really nice. My overall experience is excellent. I never had a problem, and the things that I needed was always done. They cleared off all my concerns the way I expect them to do. The price is a little higher than some of the others because of the pickup and delivery. Their quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism are excellent. I would use them in the future if I have to

I like that they have pickup and delivery to my house. I spend an average of about $20 o that service. The pickup and delivery and also the clothes are nicely pressed, which is what stands out about them.

We took my sisters wedding dress here after there was a fire so that the dress could be cleaned and the smoke smell removed from the dress. The company was amazing and worked around our schedule to make sure that we had the dresses back a week before the wedding. This company went above and beyond for us. They truly are the best!

They pick up, and deliver our clothes twice a week. We have been using them for about 20 years. Our route man is good. The clothes are always clean and pressed. They are good with stains. They are good at replacing buttons. We will continue to use them.

They are an opportunist. They take advantage of people. I would not recommend them. They never contacted us to see what we wanted cleaned nor help guide us. They just cleaned everything and charged us a high price.

The entire bodice and shoulders of the ivory dress are covered in yellow-brown spots. The shop worker claimed that she could not do anything about it, other than call her manager at the cleaning plant and then get back to me. She also claimed that she couldn't call me at my own cell phone number, since it wasn't local, so I had to give her my sister's number! The next day she called (my sister) indicating that her manager found a note on the receipt that said, "sorry we couldn't get these stains out." She said that this must mean that the dress was already stained when I brought it in, and that the cleaning factory workers discovered the stains before they began the cleaning process. I told her that had the dress been stained to begin with, I would have pointed this out when I dropped off the dress, so that they could focus on the stains. The dress is ivory, so any stains would have been apparent. And, had the dress been stained before, why didn't she bring this up as I handed her the dress, I asked? She said that since I could not prove otherwise, they would not reimburse me at all for the ruined dress. Next, she proceeded to tell me that her manager authorized a store credit of $11.50 for future cleaning. I told her that I would never be coming to this store again, so I wanted a refund. Again, she claimed that she could not do anything other than call her manager and get back to me. The next day she called (my sister) to relay that the manager had authorized the refund. Not only did they ruin my dress and refuse to compensate, they did not allow me to speak directly to the manager. I had to wait for them to relay the simple message up the chain and wait again for them to get back to me over the course of several days. And, they wouldn't even call my own phone number directly!

I use Milto's because it is very convenient. However, it is expensive, and coupons or volume discounts are never offered. I have found that, if I have a spot on an article of clothing, I must mark it with a large piece of paper pinned to it, or it will be ignored. My son had vomited on my winter coat, and I put it in the bag without a note since the vomit was obvious. Apparently it wasn't obvious enough. The coat was cleaned, and the vomit had crystallized on the coat. I was not happy, and I ended up removing the remaining stain myself. I have reported to the store whenever a stain is missed, however, and they always credit my account or re clean the item without any argument. I do appreciate that. They also keep all my clothes separated, and they take pains to identify each article of clothing on the ticket when the charges are rung up. The ticket is then attached to the clean clothes, so I can easily check the charges. I suspect it's this time-consuming task, along with the gasoline, that causes the prices to be high.
