The company came out, measured and performed the service then charged us just under $300 total. We were surprised by the total given the coupon. The service had already been performed so we paid for it. Not sure we would use the company again in the future. We felt it would have been reasonable for the company to contact us with a total PRIOR to performing the service, given that we were responding do the $85 special.

The contact person was a little hard to get ahold of and a little slow to return calls, but overall, good

The service was great. They were on time and very courteous. Everything turned out very well and we were pleased with the service. We had no problems, and I would recommend them.

This company came to me through a Big Deal. The offer and follow-through has been nothing but a communications nightmare. They pointed the finger at AL as screwing up the offer and clarification messages. I still do not know how many messages AL sent or should have sent and finally just gave up trying to figure it out and had the provider send me the estimate. When I asked AL for clarification, they told me I had all messages yet PP insists there is an additional message that only went to 30 people and which I don't have. I don't care for the fingerpointing. I don't care for the extra time I spent trying to get to the bottom of the offer and delivery. I don't care for the disregard AL had for my questions and requests for clarification on whether or not there was an additional message I did not have. This is not the first Big Deal issue we have had. I am trying to not let the Big Deal experience color my perception of this provider but that is extremely difficult when they insist to me that AL has created the communications nightmare. I had to ask the provider 3 times to send me the estimate as they inisisted that I had a message from AL that required me to confirm back to AL that I wanted to follow through. I did not receive any such message. The only message I received was to proceed with the provider or call AL to cancel. This is the second disappointing Big Deal we have purchased. I would say the rating are mostly of AL and not the provider, but, again, too much fingerpointing to be sure where the errors lie.

I am beyond pleased with my experience. When Jeff came for my consultation, it was obvious that my yard was sorely in need of help. However, given the scope of the project, my budget just wouldn't allow me to have everything completed right away. Jeff was really understanding about the situation and came up with a plan to break the work down into phases. We now have a game plan for continuing to work toward a long-term result for my yard in the spring, which I'm really looking forward to. I just can't say enough positive words about this company's customer service and work performance. They are exactly what I've been looking for.

They did a gorgeous job on 25 year old patio furniture. Very prompt, professional and we were very happy with the outcome overall.

Overall, I'm frustrated with the situation. From the beinning, we ran into issues. I emailed and scheduled my appointment. Rather than using the email address I had used to schedule my appointment, the representative called my phone number from Angie's list. Well, I don't enjoy Angie's list calling me throughout the day, so it went to my old employer. Then my old secretary called me letting me know someone was trying to get ahold of me and that he wasn't going to be able to make the appointment. When I called the number she gave me, he said he was running about a half hour late, but he could still come if we were available. At this point, he reprimanded me for not having my correct number on Angie's list. I'm sorry, but I feel they should have verified my phone number before making the appointment, but I stayed polite and didn't respond. He ended up getting to our house about 1 1/2 hours late. He texted me on the way to tell me traffic was bad. When Josh came to our house, we took him around to our backyard. We explained that our backyard was large, and we weren't sure what to do with it. We had some ideas, but we could use a little input. We also told him we were only looking at living there for 5 more years, and he took off at that. At this point, he told us what we should do for our house for resell. He critisized the borders that my husband had put in around the house because they were too rectangular. He suggested moving our shed. Although we love how much grass is in our backyard, he said it was too big, and we needed to do something to break it up, like add gardens and stuff. He wanted to replace our chainlink with privacy fencing, which we specifically said we did not want, but alas, it was on the quote any way. Basically, he didn't listen to what we wanted because once he heard that we were going to sell it, he knew best. My husband was quite upset by his visit because his work was critisized, and he was rudely told what to do with his own house. At the end of the visit, Josh concluded the session to say that we needed to stay in communication with him in the future. He said that he would be the only person we would hear from or need to talk to through this process. A few days later, I received a quote for $28,000, including a new roof, deck, fencing, and landscaping. The quote was sent by someone else in the office. First of all, I feel I've been scammed. The big deal was advertised as a complete landscape design and consultation. It was valued at $300. If you go to the Property Pros website, it says "free estimates" all over the place. If they give free estimates, what the heck did I pay for? What was $300 value? He came, determined the scope of work, and gave me an estimate - that was it. I expected a "landscape design" would include a drawing, at least a basic sketch, but none of that was provided. The estimate was very vague with very little information on it as to the actual design. What kind of business expects you to pay $28,000 for work that is not well clarified. I also was frustrated with the communication. Josh said he would be the only people to speak with us, and then immediately I received an email from someone else that told me 50% of estimate is due at start of work. Obviously, the second person did not understand that our work was eventually, not to be completed all at once. I did respond to the estimate with these concerns. I was told that as for the Angie's List add that supposedly Angie's List emailed out a clarification that there would be no landscape design drawing so that we could get a refund. I don't know if I received that or not because it came over 3 months ago, and I might have accidentally deleted it. As for my concern with communication, he said that he emails out estimates for Josh.

The price above reflects 2 "BuyNows" ($199 for up to 6 Hours of Professional Landscaping Services), plus an additional $625.00. After getting over the fact that the 2 "BuyNow's" weren't going to cover it, I went ahead. I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Property Pros did an outstanding job! Spring cleanup, some pruning, edging of flower beds and mulching. They were meticulous in their performance, cleanup along with friendly professionalism.

The designer mailed us to set up an appointment where after we provided a lot plan where present design elements were plotted. Excellent dialogue between us and the designer regarding functions we wanted to include in the garden. After some 10 days we were visited by the designer who presented a detailed drawing including old and new plants to be included or removed, combined with a patio solution to fit with our requested functions. The garden design was complemented with a map of color photos of the proposed plants and examples of materials for the patio, all packaged together with a detailed description of proposed activities and costs for parts of and the whole project. Excellent proposals that we presently are considering to take further.

Workers arrived. Only one could speak broken English, and was the crew leader. I detailed what I wanted finished. He shook his head that he understood. When they left, I had to pick up water bottles left behind, and paper left by workers. Workers broke a yard light. I called Josh and he came out right away. He admitted that the job was not the quality that his company provides. Advised me to leave the " mess " and that he would have his workers come back with him and he will show the workers that this is not acceptable. Was told I would receive a replacement light for the one that was broken. To date, nothing has been done. When Josh measured the area for additional sod, for some reason he only measured half of the job. I found that interesting as the sod was placed in front of the bed where 10 shrubs were planted. We wanted the sod to go all the way to complete the job; common sense detail. When the crew returned the second time a quick fix laying the sod only for what we paid for because Josh didn't measure the entire length; was laid. All but 3 shrubs had paper attached with a string to the shrub. I had asked to have the paper removed from all the shrubs, was waiting for a new yard light broken by the workers, but denied by the Crew leader when asked by Josh. Therefore, Josh is implying I'm lying about the light and believing his workers not the person who is paying to keep everyone in HIS business employed. We had paid for the entire job upfront, which now of days is not the way to do business. Trying to get anything done right these days requires first getting a doctors appointment to secure high blood pressure medicine; because you will need it. I'm confident that the shoddy work performed, as was backed up by the owner himself was completed in Carmel there would have been a much different resolution. I feel that the company should refund us at least $250.00 so that we can finish the sod to the end of the house and purchase a yard light; the one I lied about. I don't want the company to perform any additional work or to call us, only issue a refund so that we can purchase the sod and light ourselves; which we should have done in the first place.

I purchased a coupon offer on Angie's List. Jeff responded immediately and set an appointment. He arrived on time and discussed what needed to be done. After speaking with Jeff, he came up with a plan that addressed my needs and stayed within my budget.The day of work, they arrived on time and worked tirelessly until the job was finished. It is beautiful and completely changes the look of my home. I am so pleased with the job that they have done and I intend to continue using them for more work. They did an excellent job!!!!!

It is our custom to acquire three estimates when having work done in an unfamiliar area and the $49 Property Pros big deal came along at just the right time. Josh spent considerable time with us and then provided us with a written list of shrubs and flowers to be installed. When my husband asked about the design plan Josh explained that a retraction had been sent out saying there would not be a design plan. He said he would spray paint the layout on the day the work was done and we could approve it at that time. We obtained two other estimates for the same work and both companies produced a layout showing where each shrub and flower would be planted. One company gave us the layout with the total cost included and the other company reviewed the layout with us and gave us an itemized list of expenses saying we would be given our own copy of the plan if we chose them. We were happy with both those situations as we were able to get a better understanding of the end result. Neither of the other companies charged for their estimate and both companies had an overall cost somewhat lower than Property Pros. We have chosen one of the other companies to do the work and are very excited to see the end result.

We did have some communication issues in the beginning but they called and resolved it with us. We were very, very happy with them and they did an excellent job. I would use them again.

Josh came out and gave me an estimate the day after I contacted them. He was very thorough and made suggestions of what should be done. Because of the drought I had some concerns about a few shrubs I thought were dying and should be replaced, but Josh thought they had a good chance of recovering, so we left them. The crew arrived the next day and did an excellent job. I had three shrubs that were out of control, but they were able to trim them and thin them out so they look good again. They cleaned everything up and hauled it away. I am very happy with their service and their price. I will definitely use them again.

Property Pros edged the beds in my yard, trimmed bushes, and applied 20 yards of mulch. They were there one and half days. Overall it looks good but I think I paid too much.

The crew arrived on time and did the edging around my flower beds. They completed the job and cleaned up afterwards.

Everything went as planned. Results were highly satisfactory.

We got them through a Big Deal on Angie’s List and they did a good job once we got connected to them. We had a problem connecting with them but once we did, they were very responsive. They have been helpful because we needed some landscaping along a pond edge. They handled it well and it was reasonable. They do our weekly work for $25 a week and the major project cost $1250. We priced someone else for the pond project and the other company was a lot more expensive.

Very slow to respond to calls. Missed appointment one day, and kept pushing work date back. We thought the job would not get done.When they did come, they did excellent work and were very thorough, I was very impressed.

He was very nice and spent a couple of hours walking around our property to draw up the landscape design.

The workers worked really hard at planting and they were very nice. They did there job. The only thing I have to say is I felt like they weren't trained very-well. They did an okay job just some things we had to question them on. Like some of the flowers (2or3) weren't planted deep enough and came out. They didn't water the bushes until we suggested it.

On Thursday, July 12th a crew from Property Pros came to pull out some roots from a honey locust and fix the paver path that was buckling due to the roots. What they found when they started digging was a stump and root balls that measured almost 5 feet in diameter and there was no way to take care of the roots the way they originally planned. Josh (one of the owners) came out to the house in the early afternoon to evaluate. By 6pm that evening he had changed around the schedule of one of the crews so they could come back the next day to take care of the open hole. The next morning a crew of 4 showed up with a huge stump grinder and spent the next few hours whittling away at the stump and root balls. The next few hours after that were spent taking out roots, putting down fill dirt and sand and replacing the pavers that had been taken up. When the crew was done at the end of the day, the paver pathway and mulch bed looked impeccable. You could not tell that there had ever been a large tree in the backyard. Property Pros did a phenomenal job for a very reasonable fee. They treated my situation as an emergency and made things happen very quickly and efficiently. My husband and I were very impressed from start to finish. We would recommend them for any landscaping or paver needs.

Josh did a great job recommending plants and trees toupgrade my landscaping. He quickly followed up and corrected some boxwoodsthat his guys didn't initially space evenly, and he replaced one of the newtrees because he wasn't happy with its appearance after initialinstallation. I'd recommend Josh and his company to friends and family.Keith in the office is good to work with as well.

It took a while to get a quote for the job. Disappointed with the responsiveness to phone calls. The guys did a nice job when they were on site. Prices competitive. Also use them to mow, edge, and trim the grass on a weekly basis.

They were on time and did a great job at everything.
