We used Mike to add a kitchenette in our basement prior to this major remodel and knew we would continue to use Mike for any future needs. He is an honest, creative, hard-working man. When he first looked at our kitchen for the estimate he immediately made suggestions that made perfect sense including moving our garage door entrance toward the front of the house to make the kitchen flow and be less chopped up. From beginning to end Mike, and his partner Ryan, were timely, efficient, informative and a pleasure to be around. If any road blocks came up they always took the time to explain what was happening in detail and what they would do to resolve any problems. They listened to any of our concerns (which were few) and made suggestions when needed. Any changes we implemented were taken in stride and finished to our complete satisfaction. The job came in within a couple days of their estimated time and that was with a delay from the cabinet delivery by almost a week. Mike and Ryan utilized their time efficiently and worked diligently when they were here. Over the years I have worked with several service industry individuals and I must say Mike is the best. I would highly recommend him for any project and would gladly speak with anyone who is interested in using his services.

He is just superb and he is above and beyond what you would expect in a contractor. The kitchenette is nice and it has fulfilled its purpose, which is having access to a kitchen while we are doing the main kitchen remodel. Mike works pretty much by himself. He has a partner, Ryan, that he works with, who is also fantastic. He has sub-contractors coming in for drywalling, painting and things like that. We have been happy with everyone that he has recommended. He is the best contractor that we have ever worked with. His price is very reasonable. I had two other estimates from providers who incidentally were on Angie’s List and they were all right in line. I just liked Mike’s way of thinking. He explained things thoroughly. We have been extremely pleased with him.

He did a good job and we haven’t had any problems with the shower since then. The work was done very well. He was punctual and I would use his services again in the future, if needed.

I really like him. His rates are very reasonable and he is very good at what he does. You can e-mail him before he comes with what you need done so that he makes sure to come with the right tools which is very nice.

Great! I would hire either of these guys again! They were quick, prompt and fairly inexpensive compared to other services out there.

Mike was terrific. He responded immediately, tried to do as much investigating as he could over the phone and via email, and then made a lengthy housecall even though he was close to sure that my job was outside of his scope of services. What a kind and attentive fellow. He could so easily have just said that I should seek assistance elsewhere. Instead, he came out and spent much time fiddling around with the strange little door in the back of a bedroom closet that leads to the bathtub plumbing, and in dismantling the various plumbing parts once he got to them. As it was, he determined firsthand that what I needed to have done was indeed beyond the scope of his usual services. He then told me what questions to ask of the service providers I might engage for this task, and also gave me a few referrals. Though this particular job was not in his purview, I will definitely contact him again for something that might be.

Came out to estimate months before the actual work. I got busy and didn't follow up and neither did he. This is the only negative in regard to the job. The work went very well--did an excellent job--he is a very nice and careful worker.

His prices are very reasonable and he is just a pleasant person.

Mike did a great job. He explained what he was doing and completed each task in an efficient manner. He also answered any questions we had about the work he was doing or any aspect of home improvement we were interested in.

Bot Mike and his partner are very friendly. They came within 1 day. They were very helpful in explaining what needed to be done. They cost only 1/2 the price of a phone estimate I got from a plumber, and was equal that of the appliance stores just to install the dishwasher alone. I would recommend them to anyone and I even have them coming back to do more work.

Excellent job, but he was so busy it took a while before he could perform the work.

It was wonderful. Mike does everything quickly.

Excellent experience. He knew how to do what was on our list, advised us on 2 things and is planning to come back in a few weeks to do a large job. We needed door hinge fixed on a storage shed. He temporarily fixed hinge, told us wood was rotting in door and whole shed need to be lifted up, new concrete blocks put under 4 corners to lift it above dirt & roots of tree which was pushing.

As before, Mike did a great job. I have a 2 story entryway with the chandelier smack dab in the middle. There was just no easy way to switch out the light, which explains why the previous homeowners didn't tackle it. Not only did Mike switch out the light, but he volunteered to touch up the paint on the ceiling when he was done (not because he chipped it, the new fixture was smaller and left new areas exposed). He then said he still had time if I needed additional help Which, of course, I did. He quickly installed another light fixture in the 1/2 bath. He also advised me that for ventilation reasons to turn the fixtures slightly so as not to get brown spots from the heat building up.

Mike is fantastic. As others have written, he is extremely responsive via e-mail. He e-mailed me back within hours of my initial contact and has patiently answered my subsequent deluge of e-mails. Performed work within days. He is so good, that I've requested that he come back to hang chandelier, hang new bathroom light, and tile laundry room. And he's just an all-around good guy. He treats your home like he treats his own.

He didn't mind that I was looking over his shoulder and he patiently explained to me everything that he was doing. During the scheduled appointment he had to make a run to the hardware store to get some extra parts and did not charge me for the trip. He tried to keep the working environment as clean as possible and wiped everything up after he was done. Although we had not discussed this before, he looked into options as to how I can best connect our dishwasher to the disposal since I have had problems with back flows in the past due to an improper installation by the previous owner. His prices are more than competitive. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again in the near future.

Basically $30 per hour. Used subcontractor for ceiling repair (good work) and painting (not so good). Was very responsive (uses email great) and was available on short notice. Flexible with good general skills. Took good care on areas like cleanup, itemized billing. I would not use his painters again, work was average at best with some sloppiness.

I had something small to install. He came the next day even though it was a very small job.

REPAIRMAN WAS ON TIME. GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE.

GREAT JOB, GREAT PRICE. MIKE TOLD ME WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN MY REPLACEMENT SINK DISPOSAL.
